David barely acknowledges the newcomers to the brewing fight, focused as he is on the girl in the maid outfit. She, more than any of the Team Chain members, was the biggest threat to everyone and their mon on the field. The fact that he wanted to dissassemble that offense to technology with his bare hands (and maybe a monkey wrench) and turn it into something better, something to protect rather than harm, was only a small factor in this mindset of course. "Armature, we need to peel them apart. Straight down the middle, leave nothing behind to encircle us." He points at the Patrat The Elekid nods, slamming his fists together, and creating an arc of energy between his clenched fists when he pulls them back apart. David is fumbling for his pester balls in the interim, cursing himself for not having created more when he had the chance. Armature, taking his trainer at his word, brought his fists up, a second arc of energy from his antennae feeding into the stream between his fists. An orb of electricity begins to form at the junction of the four strands of energy, growing wider and flattening into a disk. Then, with a heave and a downward smashing motion of both arms, Armature slammed the energy disk downwards directly overtop of the Patrat's head, the strands all connecting into one single rod, making it appear as if the Elekid had created a flyswatter out of electricity and swatted the Patrat. Armature used Shockwave on Patrat 3 29 Special Electrical Damage

After the shock struck the Patrat, it struggled to stand back up, looking quite injured beyond what it was already suffering from. However, the mercenary ran forward and fired an item at it from the machine on her arm, a small capsule of energy that soon sprinkled around the Patrat as it opened, imbuing it with a renewed vigor that seemed to pump it up too. The mercenary remained close to the Bronzor however, the white Pokemon never leaving her side.
The Ace Trainer and the Swimmer both gave the orders for their Pokemon to advance, with the Clauncher doing some damage to a different Patrat with a spray of water. The Cherrim looked like it was bolstered strongly, putting on its game face as it focused itself.
The Unusual Mercenary awkwardly runs forward across the sand 3 squares and launches a Dire Potion Capsule S at Patrat 3. The Bronzor advances to remain by the Mercenary's side. Patrat 3 is healed for 20 HP, and has become pumped. It has 4 Injuries. The Ace Trainer advances as far as she can while bolstering her Cherrim with Brutal Training and Focused Training. Cherrim advances as far as it can. The Swimmer sticks to the shoreline. Rocket uses a ranged Struggle attack with Fountain on Patrat 4 for 28 damage, leaving it with 4 injuries.

David pulls out a Pester Ball, readying to throw when something more menacing than the grunts at the front lines makes their move. His sights are locked onto the woman in the maid outfit for the moment, but if anything else presents a problem, he's got an eye open.

Ruri kicks up some sand as she awkwardly bounds forward with the rest of the charge, attacking the closest Patrat with a fling of a poison barb, albeit with a moment of hesitation as she realizes the battered state the Patrat is already in. Ruri goes forward 3 spaces and uses Poison Sting against Patrat 1 (Accuracy roll 12 vs AC 2), hitting for 17 damage.

After the remaining Trainers had their Pokemon move forward (Kakuna with a particularly nice Poison Sting on a Patrat) and issued attacks, the Recruits from Team Chain moved out, looking to get in close so they could use their Shields. The Patrat they had with them also bounded forward where possible, with some even attempting attacks.
Mechanics:
Lillipup bounds forward 3 squares as its Trainer gives Inspired Orders. Dedenne runs forward 3 squares and uses Thundershock on Patrat 2 for 20 Special Electric-type damage after its Trainer gave it Agility Orders. Kakuna bounces forward 1 square and attacks Patrat 1 critically for 20 Physical Poison-type damage, poisoning it after its Trainer gave it Brutal Orders.
Team Chain Recruits all advance 3 squares where possible. Patrat 1 runs forward 3 squares and attacks Linijka with Bite for 22 Physical Dark-type damage. Patrat 2 runs up 3 squares to Sylvester and Bites for 22 Physical Dark-type damage. Patrat 3 runs up 3 squares to the Lillipup, and Bites it for 22 Physical Dark-type damage. Patrat 4 runs forward 3 squares.
The Trainer with the Wonder Launcher on your side launched an X-Atk Potion S at Linijka, not only healing 20 damage, but also granting +2 Attack Combat Stages.

As the lightning fails to connect with anyone allied with him, Sylvester breathes a sigh of relief. That is until the Patrat lunges at him and chomps onto his flesh. "AHHHH!" With all the utter confusion and stress this day has caused, Sylvester finally getting attack seemed to have broke his mind a bit. Sure, he'd been hurt before, who hasn't after all (The scars from Jad says he's hurt more than most), but none of the pain he's ever gotten was ever intentional. Throughout life he's only had accidents, and the scars around his wrists and neck were just mishaps from training Jad in their performances. But this? The first time in his life something acted directly aggressive toward him. Even though it wasn't even that bad, the poor sheltered young man freaks out a bit, as this fight rages on his mind. He runs toward the rest of Team Chain (Read: runs from the Patrat); giving what could be, a war cry if you were VERY generous, or a shout of utter confusion and terror if you had any sense. He gives a quick word of 'GET THAT ONE AHHHH' to Linijka before he continues to run. The young queen barely had any time to feel the minute damage the nearby pokemon had caused before it was healed thanks to a flying potion from a trainer behind her. She also felt quite stronger! She looked back, giving a regal nod, before charging (slowly) toward the nearby recruit. The weakened patrat could easily be mopped up by her fellow companions, who were having equal trouble in the sand, and may not be able to reach much else. Linijka clamps down on the recruits leg! Sylvester uses Orders as a priority, applying both Inspired and Agility Training. Jad gains +1 movement speed, +2 to save checks, +4 to initative (like it really matters right now, lol), and + 1 to Evasion. Jad's current evasion for any is now 7.
Linijka uses it's now total of 3 movement to go around Patrat 1 and attack Recruit 1, with Bite! (PLEASE DON'T HAVE MORE THAN 1 EVASION) AC 4 (Due to Hustle) Dark Physical (Using ap) Roll: 5 Damage: 41
Sylvester then runs around/away from Patrat 2 toward Recruit 2.

Alara looks around the mayhem with a frown. She really didn't want to get hit and go down without being any help, but being paralyzed with fear wouldn't help either. Time to charge forward, she supposed... Just make it a smart charge. She runs forwards to the already weakened patrat directly in front of her, commanding Rush as she pushes through the sand. "Rush, follow me as best you can. If I don't knock out my target, crash it. If I do, crash the nearest available target." Then, she dashes forwards and slashes at the Patrat with her blade in her hand making a quick fake stab before slicing low at it. Rush slowly shuffles after her, snorting. As he does so, moisture crystalizes into the air above him despite the heat, refracting light around the battlefield before the force of gravity smashes it down upon his target, whichever one is still standing. Alara moves three spaces east and attacks Patrat 2 to the northeast of her with Feint Attack. Feint Attack cannot miss. It takes 32 Physical Dark Type damage.
Rush shifts ones square to the south east and uses icicle crash on Alara's Patrat 2 if it is still standing. If it is not, he uses Icicle Crash on Patrat 3. 11 vs AC 4. 40 Physical Ice Type damage.

Ruri continues her advance as she shuts her eyes and barrels past the hurt Patrat with a quick swipe of her claws, just trying to get past the pokemon as fast as she can without inflicting any more damage than she needs to. Ruri uses Scratch vs Patrat 1, Passing to the square east of it. Accuracy Roll: 11 Damage Roll: 20

Armature, seeing one of the Recruits moving up towards the Cherrim, sidesteps through the sand, lashing out with a foot and attempting to sweep the grunt into stumbling and hurting themselves from the weight of their own armor. Mechanics Armature moves to the South-West in front of the Cherrim Low Kick AC 2: 9 Physical Fighting Damage: 36

The Cherrim finishes off the Team Chain member, and the Clauncher's Water Gun downed the other Patrat. Their Trainers kept moving to try and keep a safe distance while also keeping their Pokemon in reach for their shouts of encouragement and declaration of attacks.
Mechanics:
Cherrim's Seed Bomb vs. Team Chain Recruit 3 = KO
Clauncher's Water Gun vs. Patrat 4 = KO.
Ace Trainer Genise shifts north.
Swimmer Maia keeps to the water.

Even knowing full-well that she is charging head-first into danger again, Elodie runs ahead of the line of pokemon pressing forward and stands firm between them and the nearest Chain recruit. "Don't you touch even a single one of 'em!"
Normally Elodie wouldn't dream about playing dirty, but her emotions run wild in the moment, and she grabs a fistful of sand and throws the lot at the armored man, which quickly dissipates before even reaching her target. Elodie uses Natural Fighter, spending 1 AP to use Sand Attack against Chain Recruit 4. Accuracy Roll: 1 :(

David, seeing the way clear, pushes forward once again, grabbing out another Pester Ball, and lobbing it at the Team Chain Defender in front of him. Unfortunately his footing betrays him, the pester ball missing completely. AC 6: 3, total miss

The other Trainers work to dispatch another Team Chain Recruit while damaging another, making one of them drop his guard next to Sylvester as he fled towards the Mercenary. However, the other Recruit devoted themselves to striking at Elodie, who tried to throw sand at him, bringing his shield up as he tried to Shield Bash her to no avail.
Mechanics
Mekks -> Anton = 20 HP healed!
Magnevox -> Team Chain Recruit 1 = KO!
Dedenne -> Team Chain Recruit 2 = 20 Electric-type Damage!
Team Chain Recruit 2 shifts away from the fight. He's open to attack! Sylvester's Attack of Opportunity?!
Team Chain Recruit 4 (Bash!) -> Elodie = Miss!

Linijka, seeing no real way to reach anything, heads south a bit, and lets her wings out. She lifts a bit in the air, showing the others what a true rarity she is, a young Durant queen. Through inspiration alone, a bunch of her allies recieve speed boosts. Sylvester on the other hand, is still freaking out, and running toward Team Chain members, hoping his immunity and Oprecia's attack will help. He quickly yells to Jad to be evasive but then catches sight of the maid as he trudges through the sand. He looks back to David. "THERE SHE IS DAVID GO GET!" Despite the half-jibberish he's spouting, it's clear that Sylvester is trying to direct David forward. Linijka uses Show of Royalty! (Inspiration Move!)The following people/pokemon gain a combat stage in speed! -Ruri, Magnevox, Anton, Dedenne, Rush, Alara
Sylvester uses a Swift Action (Thanks to Commander's Voice) to throw Inspired training on Jad [+1 to evasion, +2 to save checks]
He moves up closer to the nearby Chain member, and then turns and hits David with After You!

David gives a look of distaste at being talked to like a dog, but the surge of energy, the hunger to see the mercenary's machine's inner workings laid bare lights a fire in him. Surging forward through the loose sand, he grasps his penultimate Pester Ball, and lobs it in a near-perfect arc for the woman's torso. AC 6: 16 On a hit the target is confused

Alara continues trudging forwards as best she can, but it's difficult work in the soft sand, only managing to end up next to David. Looking behind herself and realizing that Rush wasn't going to be able to do anything useful when he was so far behind, she quietly nods to herself. It was time to test out the new pokemon. Quickly turning around, she recalls Rush into his pokeball, then she lobs forwards her Durant's pokeball, releasing it between David and the Team Chain Defender. Alara Uses her shift action to move forwards 3 steps, next to David. She then uses her standard to recall Rush and send out her currently unnamed Durant to the North West of Team Chain Defender 1. Durant will act on initiative count 16, and will be able to receive orders and act then.

Ruri hops through the sand while still keeping her distance from Sylvester and shoots out a poisonous barb at the armored man in front of her, aiming for an uncovered part of his body. Meanwhile, the Nidorina hasn't forgotten that Alara is still recovering from the fights earlier in the day and decides to keep an eye out for any incoming attacks on the girl. Poison Sting (Poison, Physical) vs Chain Recruit 2 Accuracy (AC 2, poisons on 17+): 13 Damage Roll: 18
Quick reminder for Hay that Ruri has a use of Friend Guard should things get dicey. :D

Armature huffs as David races ahead, struggling to keep up in the loose sand and grit. Scowling, seeing the Defender near to his trainer, he slams out a Shock Wave at the armored figure. Shockwave cannot miss. No crit. Special Electric Damage: 24
