"Oh...you didn't need to do that." Ovelia said surprised at a pirate of all people basically giving money to someone. That seemed so backwards. She quickly bowed again to show she was honored. "Thank you Lady Maya, you have been extremely helpful. I owe you a debt. If you ever need anything of me I swear on my honor to return the favor." She said basically assuring a favor.
She did slightly cringe at the 'adorable' comment. She didn't want to be 'adorable', but it would have been rude to say anything so she kept it to herself.
"Do we need to let the tailor know which dress?" Ovelia asked unsure how dress buying went considering Maya had just put the money on counter but not called over the busy tailor.
She then went into the changing room and started gathering up her belongings. She strapped her weapons to the waist over the dress and folded up her clothes and bags and held them as best she could. She was glad the dress Maya had suggested was short. She could run back to the mansion and drop off her clothes.

"Don't worry about it. I'll see you in a couple days." she said waving her off.
She started her way out the door, "and no, It'll be fine. I put more than enough money on the counter where that concern doesn't need to be worried about. See ya."
With that Maya walked out the door and into the crowd.

Ovelia still felt weird leaving, but trusted the kind and trustworthy woman and headed out. She would probably end up coming back to deal with a dress for the wedding anyway and could just tell the lady then.
After she left Ovelia quickly used her speed and magic to race back to the mansion and drop off her main outfit and armor. Although she hated not having both her weapons, Ovelia also set her sword on the bed. She slipped her dagger into her boot. With the hidden dagger she could feel comfortable with a weapon but still look completely effeminate with no visible weapon.
She quickly checked the time unsure how long she had been at the dress store. Feeling short on time Ovelia grabbed a brush and raged back toward the restaurant trying her best to brush her hair along the way. However running really fast and hair brushing don't go hand in hand.
When she arrived at the restaurant she slipped into the restroom to fix the mess she had made and straighten out her outfit so it wouldn't show she had ran a bunch.
She looked in the mirror and nodded, "Alright. You got this, Ove---Oh dang it!" She groaned when she realized she hadn't thought of make-up.
She groaned but knew she was probably already late and couldn't fix it so she headed out of the restroom and looked for Jonathan trying to walk girly like she had seen people do at balls.

With a bit of a rush in her step Ovelia was able to make her way quickly from the mansion back. She was rushing, and her magic's speed wasn't enough to make up for the distance needing to be traveled.
She arrived outside the Mareep Bistro, as she followed the instructions Johnathan gave her.
There was a decently sized restaurant with all sorts of patrons standing about outside. Inside there were all sorts of middle income people enjoying a night out, many people eating shepards pies.
He was standing outside talking with a matradee, "Look, I don't care if your a fucking Knight and it's your day off. We're full. Shoulda made a reservation."
"look, I'm sorry, I understand. There isn't any way we can get moved up the list?" Johnathan asked, a bit defeated.
"Two hours, that's how long it'll take" He said.

Ovelia walked up to Jonathan, "Sorry I'm late." She said coming up next to him, "It look longer than I thought to get ready." She said to him before looking at the matradee. "Two hours? You guys must be really popular to fill up that fast. We apologize for bothering you. I can see why Miss Maya Torbiorn told me this place was good though if you guys are that full." Ovelia said politely to the man giving a quick bow.
She then put an arm on Jonathan's shoulder, "Don't worry about it, I'm sure we can find somewhere else. I'll mention to Maya the line was too long when I see her in a few days and maybe she can recommend a good day to come for the future."
She wasn't sure if dropping the name like Maya had told her too would help with something like a full restaurant and she didn't want to seem rude by dropping the name and demanding. If it worked, great. And if not, it was done in a polite way that wouldn't be rude.

With a bit of a sigh, "Maya Torbiorn? Alright, here come along. To The VIP section. You coulda just mentioned her in the first place he said."
Johnathan looked a bit surprised, "What.... What just happened there?"

"She's a new friend of mine." Ovelia explained to Jonathan, "She was helping me get ready and when I mentioned we were coming here she said I should mention her name. I wasn't sure if it would help and didn't want to be rude." She told him as she moved to follow the Matradee. She glanced over at Jonathan trying to see if her noticed her outfit or was giving any outward signs of liking or disliking it.

Johnathan looked at Ovelia as he followed in up and down, something about him seemed to be responding a little bit slugishly as he was talking to her. As if he was distracted by something, or someone.
"I see. That's good, she help.... she.... pick out the dress?" He asked.
The matredee lead the two to a table on the roof, there were a couple of other people up there. The view looked out over the city. Johnathan pulled Ovelia's seat out for her to take a seat.

"She did. I tried a few others on, but she recommended this one. Do you like it?" Ovelia asked flashing a smile as she gave a quick turn to show all angles before she took the seat. "Thank you." She said. Oh my god oh my god, he's so romantic!!! Ovelia thought trying not to let the inward squee escape to the outside. Not only was she getting to for the first time go out to a nice restaurant all technically-not-a-date-but-totally-is style, but their view was amazing. Her heart was pounding rapidly. Don't screw up, don't screw up...we are friends. But he's cute. And nice. But don't make it weird. She tried to tell herself as she casually crossed her legs as she sat. "Sooooo, still think I can't be effeminate?" She asked with a smirk as she placed her elbows on the table and put her hands together before resting her head so that the hands were under her chin as she leaned in.

Johnathan smiled taking a seat across from her, "Yeah I do. But No, I didn't say you couldn't be effeminate."
He sighed, "I meant, that.... how do I put it...."
"Did you feel particularly comfortable buying that? Trying things on?" he asked.

"It was a new experience." Ovelia said trying to avoid the question. "The first time you try something it might be a bit weird."
She raised an eyebrow surprised at his reaction, "Besides if you like it, that's important. And this one wasn't as bad or weird as some of the others. I could see myself wearing this one again. To be fair I didn't actually buy this one though. Like, I wanted to and was going to, but Maya ended up paying for it for some reason. I told her I would repay her in the future. She has a wedding coming up in a few days." She paused an an attempt to mix things up grinned as she decided to have some fun with him, "Oh, why so curious about how comfortably trying on dresses is? You want us to go shopping and get you one later?" She teased.

"That's nice of her. I hope she has a good wedding" He said smiling, he looked to the waiter who was now standing at the side of the table, "Two Shepard's pies."
With a nod, he walked away, after setting a pitcher of water, two glasses, and a lit candle on the table.
He nodded, "That's true, but My point was more.... I never really thought that you'd be comfortable with that kinda thing you know? Something I thought was pretty cool about you."
He poured her some water from the pitcher, "Although, I can't say that I hate this at all."
"Though I don't think that I'll be able to make dress shopping not weird, my legs would look weird in a dress" he said chuckling a bit.
"Do you need a dress for the wedding?" he asked.

Ovelia was quiet as he ordered. "Oh..." She said fidgeting somewhat. "I'm not sure I fully understand though. I mean...you said you don't hate it, but you thought it was cool that I seemed uncomfortable with dresses? I hope this doesn't make me uncool then." She said before sipping the water. "Well the bigger fancier dressier ones were definitely weird. I don't get how people move. And one had my arms all covered and its like, what if someone tried to attack us or something? It'd be tripping all over and flailing arms at them. And don't get me started on ribbons. Ugh...ribbons and laces everywhere." She said with a shiver. "This one wasn't too bad though. I mean, its shorter so my legs aren't restricted." She explained trying to defend the 'uncool' dresses. However, as she did she couldn't help but feel she was defeating the point. Talking about how she could fight and run and restrictions. Wouldn't that just make her a boy?
"Ugh...though I guess doing all this talk about efficiency sure shoots the effeminate thing." She mumbled before using the comment about his legs to try and divert things. "I don't know...have you seen your legs in a dress? Sounds like you are stereotyping dresses! Just because its a dress it automatically makes your legs weird huh?" She teased.
"As for the wedding I don't know. I mean...she said where whatever, but I don't want to look rude and show up looking masculine in my normal clothes. And I met her at a dress store. But at same time a fancy dress would be a pain. I haven't actually decided yet. I want to be polite..."

"Yeah it looks good on you." he said smiling.
He pointed out, "It's just weird cause thigh's as large as mine don't fit in dresses."
"Though yeah, maybe they just look weird." he said a bit defeated.
"It's up to you. Maybe she's expecting you to wear that for the wedding?" he asked.
He added, "She might of paid for the dress so you could have something to wear for the wedding. After all that's the only dress you own right?"

"Well I'm sure we can find a big thighed dress..." Ovelia said with a laugh. "And I think you look fine." She said with a laugh before stopping and blushing. "Err I mean not fine fine, but like fine. Like...not oh-man-he-so-fine! But like Oh-that's-fine! Err I mean not saying you aren't also man-he-so-fine fine but, you know. I meant the...uhhh...man this water is good." She said quickly drinking more. I SAID PLAY IT COOL! She yelled at herself.
She is grateful for the wedding discussion to allow her to try and change the subject. "Oh...that makes sense I didn't think of that." She said with a pause as she thought, "You don't think its too plain?" She asked. "I mean, I like it, but don't people usually wear obnoxious inefficient outfits for weddings? Like the dresses the brides always wear...I mean, how would you do anything in something that fat? And like all that white...I don't get how nobody gets blinded." She said with a laugh. "But...yeah, its my only dress currently. I mean, not that I couldn't wear dresses if I wanted. Err or not that I don't want. I just...you know, never bothered to buy any before." She shrugged, "I should probably just stick with armor I guess. I mean, Maya was really beautiful so it makes sense she wears dresses. I'm... me."
"On a side note I'm really glad I ran into you today. Its certainly good to see a friend. I had to deal with this idiot pervert this morning so seeing you certainly made the day better. How are you liking the Blurriest Messenger?"

"You're fine Ovelia. Your prettier than your giving yourself credit for." he said smiling.
"That doesn't sound like fun." he said, in reference to her having to deal with the idiot pervert.
"As for the blurriest messenger?" He asked, "Pretty good actually. You wouldn't believe how fast people are there. They don't rest for a second. And Jouto god, Jouto's fast. He can run Circles around people so quickly like you wouldn't believe."
"You'd like it there I bet." he said, "How about you? Aside from the pervert, of course. I've heard nothing but praise from the fellow members of my order."

"You'd tell that to anyone," Ovelia said dismissing his comment about prettier, however she did smile at least. It was still sweet of him.
"And yeah, it sounds like a lot of fun. I'm really jealous. Ugh, I got stuck with the idiots..." She mumbled embarrassed. While she was glad to see Jonathan, she couldn't help but feel inferior now that she was talking about where she got placed. "Youngest Sage... The leader apparently ruined my chance to be with you guys. He said a bunch of orders wanted me, and Jouto liked me, but then he had to argue and get in the way for some stupid reason. And we have an ex-pirate pervert as one of the recruits too. The creep actually peeped while I was bathing this morning!" She said face red as she got annoyed thinking about it. "And one of the guys defended him, but he seems to have realized that was wrong. Not sure. That or he changed mind cause he saw how good I was when I dueled the pervert." She sighed. "I can't wait to be able to transfer."

Johnathan shrugged, "I see. Well to bad, you got him good though. I bet."
As he said that the Shepards pies arrived, they were large, steaming, and all sorts of different good smells were coming from them.
"Though, I mean. I'm surprised though, if Jouto wanted you that means that Sans must really be respected among the orders." he said starting on the shepard's pie.

"I don't know why. He makes puns, he pulls foolish stupid pranks, and all we do is clean up messes." Ovelia said rolling her eyes, "He almost caused a fight to break out the other day and some of my team almost ran to call for reinforcements. Imagine if we had called reinforcements from other guilds thinking there was an attack and it was some childish prank?" She vented, "Oh...uhhh to fill you in, we came back from a mission and all lights were out and minds were blocked, and people were missing. Then when someone investigated they were grabbed and gagged. And it was just so he could have a surprise party by kidnapping people. I actually saw my teammate get grabbed and yanked away and got into a fight with a construct over it!" She explained. "It was childish and could have ended up with a fight or with people being woken up and rushed to the headquarters for nothing." She said rubbing her temple, "Totally immature for a guild leader. The puns are stupid, but at least not a problem."
"And our first mission was just sitting around outside a bandit camp knocking out any that ran away." Ovelia said. "It was a waste, forcing us to stand around there. Given, the Rainbow dragons messed up even more and so it got more exciting when all their leaders almost escaped and we stopped them. But had they done their job right it really would have just been sitting around picking off a few people that were already weakened and running." She sighed, "I bet your missions are way cooler and more dashing."

He chuckled, "That sounds like a lot of fun."
"The youngest sage must trust you guys." he said, "After all, All I've been doing is delivering messages."
