After Lia finally wakes up and gets her pokemon healed, she's handed a badge and the winnings. Satori didn't seem 'entirely' willing to hand it over, but it was a close match, from what they told her after. She holds the badge up the celebrate for a moment before limping over to watch Eve and Keada do their battles. Lia was pretty hype when Orpheus Mega Evolved, but when she was quickly defeated, Kaeda looked hurt and she left without a word. Lia gets up, and despite her soreness, heads out after.
"Yo, babe! Wait up!"

Kaeda comes to a stop for Lia to catch up, but she has nothing to say. She just looks forward, crosses her arms, and sighs. She isn't mad at Lia, but she is certainly mad.

Lia walks over and sits next to her.
"Now you sound like me in the slump I was in a while ago. Piece of advice, don't go sulk off on your own cause then your jerk friends come and challenge you to fights to get you out of it."
Lia gives a sly wink before putting her arm over Kaeda's shoulder.
"But I don't know what you arent surprised about. What, that you got to the end of the challenge and was tetering on the edge and just feel the wrong way the first time? You at least didn't go through a small test fight to even be in the place and got shown the door right quick. Like I did the first time."

"It was all going so well, and then...Now I gotta go back, I don't even know if I gotta face all 3 again, AND THEN face the leader....This mega thing did jack shit anyways..." "No, I saw that, you really didn't get a chance to use Mega evolution that well. Considering the one I was facing down would have murderlized Brunhilda real quick, I wouldn't say it does nothing. And it sucks, yeah you gotta probably do it again. But you got close, so next time it's yours. Take it from a person who's gotta do like everything twice before she wins. You, Floyd, Vincent, the Pewter Gym, the Vermillion Gym, the Celedon Gym... possibly with kerosene and a match... You know. List goes on. Don't get down on yourself. Wish I had somebody telling me that before."

Kaeda really doesn't wanna go back in there, and would more rather just get out of the town as fast as possible. But, she takes Lia's hand, and goes back in to watch Eve's go at the gym.

Lia nods, seeing that Eve did pretty well for only going in there with 2 pokes. Not bad. She waits with Kaeda for Eve to get healed up.
"Not bad, new blood. Didn't realize you only had four. But those trainers were pretty strong, so not bad."
Lia looks to the other two.
"Guess Floyd took off already..."

Kaeda blows off steam by battling around town. When she is done, she is with Lia, and Eve. "Not too bad Eve. I wont be able to stomach setting foot in this gym again for a while. I'm gonna hop on a bus to Fuchsia. You're welcome to come along with me. Going to visit the Safari Zone, and possibly the Ice gym."

Lia kicks the dust off the floor, a bit upset that it sounds like she'll be alone for a while. Not like Kaeda should travel with her by the hip, but after falling so fast and spending so much time, seeing that she'll head off is a bit distressing. She'll just have to deal.
"Well you two have fun, then. I'll be in Cerulean for a few days for work."

"Aaaaaagh," Eve let out a frustrated groan as she stepped away from the matches. Although, hearing the compliments of her new companions brought the smile right back to her face. This was nice, having people support her after a fight. She'd never known that this was something she had missed, but now she did.
Floyd was gone, it seemed. He had probably gone on to Celadon. Pretty soon, Lia and Kaede also went their separate ways. Eve did the same after waving a grateful farewell to the others. She healed her Pokemon at the Pokecenter, and spent the rest of the day crafting various accessories.

After hunting down some trainers in the region, Lia is relaxing in the center, wondering if the others are around before she has to split. She'll make it back north on Avitus real quick, so she's got some time. Scier is resting on her lap, snoozing away.

Kaeda is soaking in the tub. She's still mad enough to boil the water she's in, but she keeps to herself. Orpheus is leaning against the outside of the tub laying her head on her arms as she mopes away. Orpheus would give some guilt trip, Kaeda would probably snap, so both just don't talk to each other. Kaeda contemplates spending at least 1 more day. Assemble a "fuck you fighting type" team, and crush this gym under her heel. That seemed like a nice thought...
