Floyd shakes his head at Lia.
"I thought lessons were required for diving gear. At least if you intend to venture into the ocean depths."
He says before smiling at Kaeda.
"You're welcome join me if you can stand to be away from Lia for a few days. Just make sure to stock up on supplies and buy a torch."

Floyd's words make Lia realize her folly.
"Oh, shit. Right. Probably a good idea to do lessons. Dang. I guess I'll do some investigating tonight then."
Lia grumbles and pulls out her dex and begins looking up options (Either here or in Vermillion, the two most likely places right now) to see where diving courses are being held. She doesn't really catch the next part of what Floyd says, so doesn't react to Floyd's suggestion of absconding with Kaeda.

Lia finds that there is a weekend course for novice divers right here in Cerulean, funded (but not run by) the Gym.

Kaeda chuckles, and rolls her eyes. "Yeah. Yeah. Anyways, I'm good to go whenever. Just let me know." She stretches, and yawns. "After what went down today, I'm just about ready to crash. What do you guys want to do?"

Kaeda smiles, and kisses Lia's cheek. "It's fine, babe." She gets up, and yawns again. "Ok, guys. I'm turning in." She looks to Lia. "You should head to bed too. Or, do you feel like staying up?"

Floyd says, waving to Kaeda.
"I should check my items, make sure I'm ready for anything."
He says to himself, remembering how useful the lum berries he had recently acquired had been.

Lia looks confused but shrugs.
"Guess it's fine then?"
She turns to Kaeda.
"I'm not exactly 'sleepy' but I really don't feel like doing anything with the way I'm messed up so I'll just do what I was planning tomorrow. Cya when you get back then, Floyd. And you better not let something eat her while you are in there."

Kaeda nods. "Alright then. I'll see you all in the morning then." She then makes her way to closest bed, and turns in for the night. In the morning she would stock up on items, before heading to the mountain with Floyd.

In the morning, Kaeda slides out of bed slowly to not to wake Lia, and let her sleep a bit more. She gets all ready to head out, and then comes back next to Lia. She shakes her lightly. "Hey, babe. It's time to get up."

Lia sits up, and shakes herself awake. She's feeling mostly better now, whatever that strangeness was finally falling away.
"Yeah I guess it is. You gonna go find Floyd now?"

Kaeda nods. "Yup. I'm heading out now to get supplies, and then find Floyd. Hopefully you have a much better day at work. I'll see you later if we aren't dead. Hehe. Later, babe." With a kiss, she gets back up, and heads out.

Lia grabs Kaeda's hand before she leaves.
"Hey, hold on a moment."
She sits up and wraps Kaeda in a hug.
"I'm sorry for losing it yesterday in an 'attempt' to protect you. I shouldn't lose my cool so quickly. I can... be smarter than that."

Kaeda blinks, smiles, and returns the hug fully. "I know. I know. It's fine. It might not have been the smartest choice, but I'm happy I can depend on you if I'm in danger." She leans Lia back into a bigger smooch, and breaks away.

Lia holds onto the kiss for longer, considering who knows when Kaeda will get back. She finally lets go.
"I'll do my best. I love you, and just hide behind Floyd if something big pops around the corner, OK?"
Lia let's her go and heads off to work.

"I will, and I love you too." Once outside, Kaeda's Snorlax suddenly pops out again, and runs off for food. After a few minutes it returns, chewing on food, and hands Kaeda a Rawst Berry. "Aww. thank you, big guy." She pats his tummy, and recalls him. Then, once her shopping was done, she looked around for Floyd.

Floyd says to Lia, silently adding that Kaeda really should be capable of looking after herself. He then sleeps himself, waking up early to shop and train before waiting in the Pokemon Centre's foyer for Kaeda.

After a (thankfully) uneventful day, Lia goes back to the ranch to chill as she waits to see if Kaeda/Floyd make it back in one day or not. She sits for a while, wondering what to do with her night. She looks at her pokedex next to her, her foot tapping as something in the back of Lia's mind eats away at her. She sighs.
"Stupid brain. Alright, lets just... do it."
She opens a search option, feeling briefly guilty that she should be looking up stuff for the boat trip, but pushes that aside in favor of her current goal. She begins searching information on humans with powers, before realizing she's bound to find a lot of faked and mis-information considering it's the internet, so she instead tries seeing if Kanto has some sort of expert or maybe a research location.
