Kaeda heads back to find Lia. Her Snorlax suddenly pops out, and wanders off to find food. Kaeda follows him around, and after he finds something to munch on, he hands her a super potion. "Heh. Good thing you didn't eat that. Let's go big guy." She then, recalls him, and rejoins Lia.

Lia chuckles a bit before Floyd brings up their day.
"Ugh. Shit happened. This creepy-ass gambler I met before challenged us to a battle, and we won by a hair, but this rock Kaeda found days ago turned out to be fucking evil and ate their souls or some shit, and the guy blamed us for it... And then outta nowhere got all glitchy and was popping around and warping reality, and put his hands 'through' us and fucked up our insides. And then popped away with the stone. And with it any remaining hope I had to EVER keep up in this damn reality."

Floyd frowns at Lia's negativity and speaks.
"Our pokemon grow stronger with every battle and us with them. There is no level of power we cannot someday attain through persistence and hard work. So whatever is actually bothering you, keep in mind that it whatever weakness you perceive in yourself is completely temporary."
He says before looking back at Kaeda.
"I think I want to hear more about this encounter, but we should definitely discuss our plans. I was intending to explore the depths of Mt Moon over the next few days, so I can postpone that if you need me around at all. Maybe we should look into diving gear, since we may have to explore the ocean floor for a Sharpedonite."

Arguing with him is pointless, he's way too positive despite everything. I mean I can get as swol as possible but what does that help when Lilith rains fucking arrows, people can warp reality, or cut holes inbetween universes and shit. If I can't 'hit' them, all the training in the world means jack. That power ceiling is always gonna be there.
"Honestly man, if you don't need US going into the Mountain, then don't worry about it. And I've already got diving gear on the list to find and rent. It'll be over a week till I get time off to hunt it all down."

Kaeda tilts her head. I can see Lia doesn't quite buy into Floyd's line of thinking. I also have a hard time imagining reaching such a high point, but with what we have seen....I guess it could be possible. Kaeda sits forward. "I wouldn't mind going into Mt. Moon with Floyd. I never really explored it on my first trip through, so it would give me a chance for some rarer pokemon."
