Orpheus leads you deeper and deeper into the forest, where you come upon what appears to be a shrine of some sort. It appears to be dedicated to a special Fairy Pokemon, but you don't recognize the statue. Sitting upon the shrine is a lone Mega Stone. Orpheus' eyes are practically dinner-plate size at this point as she cautiously reaches for it. However, this stone appears to be an illusion, a trick. You then hear a familiar voice inside your head.
"So you found the shrine, hmm? Your Gardevoirite is here, yes. However, I can't simply let you take it and walk away. I need to see if you're worthy of it. The Mistress never said it'd be easy to acquire your Mega Stones, after all. She merely consented to allow you to go and find it. To leave with it, you must earn it."
At this moment, the speaker then reveals herself. A teal-colored Gardevoir, with a bracelet that Kaeda recognizes as a Psychic Booster on its arm.
"To claim this stone, you must defeat me."

Kaeda holds back Orpheus from continuing on as a woman, and her own Gardevoir appear. "Hmph. Just because you're here, doesn't make this 'not easy'. If taking you down is what needs to be done, then so be it. Orpheus!" Orpheus nods, and steps forward. "Lets go, Darling."

"Looks like we're going to have to circle around, climb over, or burrow under, Carlin. Which one sounds right to you? If we want to burrow I think we'll need Vel's help." Vincent asked his Pokemon. "I suppose we could try smashing through the rock too."

Carlin approaches the mountain, trying to discern what task is required to gain access to the mountain. Unfortunately, he seems as stumped as you. He suggests that perhaps since he is a steel type, he is meant to power his way through the rock. That is, make his own entrance.

"No reason not to try it I suppose," Vincent responds. He tries to find what might be a weaker spot in the rock/ "Use Play Rough there!" Carlin nodded and began beating on the rocky wall of the mountain.

Carlin smacks the mountain for a good minute before pausing to check his progress. He barely seems to have made a dent in it. Vincent noticed a very faint shimmer when Carlin started pounding on it, however. It occurs to him that this is a land of magic and trickery. Perhaps the goal is not to brute force it, and instead to think critically.

You find enough handholds to climb up for a few minutes, eventually reaching a ledge. Looking back, Carlin struggles to even hold onto the rocky outcroppings. Seems his smaller arms aren't meant for climbing.
After the failed climbing and digging attempts (along several hours of frustration), Vincent finally figures out that this test is meant to deceive him. The solution has been in front of him the entire time. He closes his eyes, believing with his entire being that there is an entrance before him, and walks right through. When he meets no resistance at the point where he 'saw' the edge of the mountain, he opens his eyes again. He finds himself in a small chamber with a glowing gemstone atop a pedestal.
On the outside, Carlin first watches Vincent walk through the mountainside, then pop his head back out of it to call him in. Once Vincent shows Carlin there is an opening here, the illusion can no longer deceive him, and the entrance is revealed. Carlin confirms that this glowing stone is the Mawilite, and the pair retrieve it with no further difficulties.

After Orpheus is able to walk, her and Kaeda make their way back to where they parted ways with Vincent. They are back to linked arms, but Orpheus clutches her new Gardevoirite to her chest fondly. Kaeda motions to Ceana. "We have what we came for. Once Vince returns, we will be on our way back to our world."

Vincent celebrated with Carlin for a bit and then made a triumphant return with Carlin holding a Mawilite in his hand. He caught the tail end of Kaeda's words to Ceana. "Let's head back," he said as soon as he arrived.

Ceana leads you back to your point of entry and sends you on your way. She suspects that she won't be seeing either of you again, but you never know. The Queen frequently changes her mind on things as it suits her whims.

Kaeda smiled to see both pokemon so happy to have their new treasures. After exiting the portal, Kaeda stretches, and pops her back. "Well that was certainly something. Also, not as life threatening as we anticipated. Anyways, I'm ready to get some sleep back at the ranch. I'll see you later." With a yawn, Kaeda and Orpheus walked on back to the ranch for the rest of the day.

Vincent nods. "That's a good idea," he says thinking about where he was going to sleep tonight. In the end, he decides not to follow Kaeda and instead rests in the Cerulean City Pokemon Center.

After a stressful day of dimension hopping, Kaeda was happy to be back in her own world. Spending time with all of her pokemon was always wonderful, but it was getting to be time to prepare for another gym. Looking over her funds, she noticed she was near broke. She really needed to get back into the swing of things. Also this would kill time until her mega stone arrived in Cerulean. Kaeda, after some morning training, headed out to the outskirts of Cerulean along route 5 to find trainers to battle. In the morning, after some light training for her pokemon, Kaeda took off from the ranch to make more money. The injuries that her pokemon, and herself, had sidelined them for the time being. But, getting money more money was still the plan. These TMs were the first to go. She would need to travel around to get maximum value for them. Going to Lavender town should work.

Lia retires her day after some training of those she's going to bring to the gym. She wakes up the next day, gets some more fights in before finalizing her team at the center and heads off to the poison gym. She stops outside the door, and takes a breath. Scier turns to look at her, concerned.
"Ok, ok. Last one ended way too close. But if we keep to the same process that worked at Cerulean, then we'll be fine. Poison resists poison, afterall. Alright. *phew* Here we go."
Lia takes her first steps inside.

You enter the Gym to find it completely dark. She can't see at all once the door closes. Hell, the only way she knows the door is there is because she just walked in. She hears several voices calling out from the darkness. From the things being said, it sounds like they're commenting on her arrival more than talking to her directly.
Voice #1: "Oooh. Another girl has come to challenge the Gym."
Voice #2: "Are you sure it's a girl? Looks more like a girly-boy to me."
Both voices erupt in a fit of giggles.
Voice #1: "No, no, I'm pretty sure it's a girl. Maybe a Tomboy."
Voice #2: "Think we can 'bring out her inner girl'?"
Voice #1: "Hmmm. Maybe. Worth a shot!"
You hear nothing but deafening silence for a short time, before the floor suddenly disappears out from under you and you go sliding down a hidden tunnel. A few moments later, you land hard on your butt at the bottom of the tunnel/slide/thing. You feel a pair of arms wrap around you and begin touching you. Just gentle caresses of your breasts through your shirt. A breathy whisper in your ear asks you if you like that.
Floyd
When you enter the Gym after several minutes, it seems like a perfectly normal building. Not at all the reception you got when you first entered. Then again, they already know you don't even react to their shenanigans, so why waste effort? That, or they're too busy messing with Lia... waitaminute. Where is she? The building isn't *that* big, so where could she have gone to?

Lis is confused as all hell as she is locked in the darkness. As the voices making fun of her begin, she merely rolls her eyes. Yeah she is a tomboy. She's quite aware of that. Good job geniuses. Although she does wonder for a second how they can see and she cant, they bring up that inner girl comment. She finally speaks up.
"Look if the gym is closed and some girls with highschool-level insults are squatting in here I'll just leave, but if you think you can make me someone more 'girly'... Have fun trying you chuckle fu-"
And down the hole she goes.
When she lands at the bottom she doesn't even have time to yell in anger before someone decides to get a bit... handsy. Good thing it's dark in here cause she blushes hard and immediately. And the voice right next to her ear makes her skin tingle and the hairs on her body stand on end. In a combination of surprise and confusion, she let's the hands work for a few moments more than she'd assume she'd be ok with. Currently talking in her ear is a little shoulder devil version of Lia, (Dressed the same way as Lia, but with curled horns, teeth that would make Los blush, and literally engulfed in flames for those that ask) who is telling her she kinda 'does' like it. And then when the hands are done, THEN beat the living shit out of them. (It is still Lia, after all)
Realization finally hits her.
"FffffffffffffffFFFFFFFFFFFF- RAH!"
Lia begins struggling to get out, hopefully with at least some of her dignity.
