"One more thing. No, two more. In the tunnel yesterday we encountered the fossil pokemon Omanyte, which I believe would make a good addition to your gym team. And since I still owe you for Glosny, you don't need to trade me anything in return. And I won the Scald TM from the gym, which will be useful to your many water type pokemon."

With all preparations made, the party makes their way back into Rock Tunnel. Vince spots an item that someone discarded near the entrance. Turns out it's just a regular, old burn heal. Nothing too special.

After finally defeating the last of the hostile Bisharp, the party takes a few moments to patch up any injuries they may have sustained before pressing on to finish exploring Rock Tunnel. The path they've been following seems to lead into a dead end, opening into a slightly larger cavern than before. With their flashlights (or other sources of light), the group is able to see what looks to be a small campsite. It appears to be unoccupied at present, but could be a good place to rest, if they felt like it. Seems like it's a very bare-bones camp, but one that was meant to last for awhile.
What will you do?

"My, my, my. What do we have here? Four young trainers plumbing the depths of Rock Tunnel, it seems. What brings you down to these lightless depths, I wonder?" The voice comes from behind you, even though you could swear there was no way anybody could sneak up on you that easily. The woman's voice has an eerie tone to it, and you feel as though a bucket of cold water was just dumped on you.

Kaeda jumps, and turns around when hearing the voice. She then stares at the woman who is in a quite gaudy get up. Kaeda then gathers herself together, and speaks up. "Ah. Hello there. I'm Kaeda Starwood, and the pleasure is yours. My friends, and myself, are her exploring, training, and catching rare pokemon. We ask what you may be doing down here as well."

The woman just laughs when Kaeda says "the pleasure is yours".
"Someone is certainly full of themselves. Catching rare Pokemon, you say? Odd place to be searching. Not a lot of trainers come down here. Those that do usually look much more beat up than you four. You'd best be careful down here, as there are plenty of Pokemon who've never seen a human before live down here, and we wouldn't want your journeys to come to a tragic end, now would we?"
Her eerie smile sends more shivers down your spine, and the way she emphasized the word "tragic" gives you the idea that she probably wouldn't mind at all if you got killed down here.

Lia had put Los away, switching back to Scier to float beside her. She was going to retort to what she said first, but Kaeda interrupted before she got a chance. When she points out Kaeda being full of herself, Lia is quick to jump in.
"Oh hell yeah she's utterly full of herself. Should have seen her earlier today. But I was quick to put a stop to that."
Lia grins at her frienemy.
"But I gotta ask, what are 'you' doing here? Not like you own Rock Tunnel, lady."

"Ha. True enough. I don't own it. If you must know, I'm doing research on Dark Types. I heard from some very helpful rangers that there was a new Pokemon sighted down here that may or may not have had some relation to Sableye. Figured I'd come see for myself. You four haven't seen anything like that down here, have you?"
Even when she's being somewhat 'pleasant' (or at least cordial), and not making thinly veiled remarks about her apparent disdain for you all, she's still pretty creepy/scary.

Kaeda clicked her tongue at Lia's remark. "Don't mind the thick headed, loser over there." Kaeda then pauses. This woman is very weird. She is barely keeping up an appearance of friendliness, and she should leave ASAP. "Uhh...No. And, if we did, we obviously get first dibs at catching it, so why dont you go....to another far part of the tunnel, hmmm? " Kaeda easily responds with the same air of faux kindness, and smiles back at the woman.

The woman merely smiles in that creepy way of hers. "Why should I? I was here first, after all. Came here last night, in fact. Don't remember seeing you here then. Besides that, this is my camp. If anything, I should be asking you to leave. At any rate, I'm actually not interested in just capturing it. I want to study it. Perhaps if it is related to Sableye, I can figure out how it came to be and went undiscovered all these years."

Lia merely rolls her eyes at Kaeda. But she looks confused.
"Uh guys why didn't you freaking TELL me there was an awesome mutant pokemon down here! Lady I only got here today, so if they saw some cool shit and didn't let me know then that's their fault."
Lia watches the barbed exchanges between this woman and Kaeda, an evil grin only growing as it continues.
"Tell ya what, if 'I' catch it, and I will, I think there's no reason you can't study it if you are down here spending your time after all."

Kaeda hears the woman's voice in her mind. "Do you make a habit of trying to read other people's minds? If so, you're terrible at it. I've lived around telepaths my whole life and learned how to detect and trip them up. Now then... What to do with you?"
The others hear nothing, but see only a sly smile spread across the woman's face as Kaeda discovers she can't actually "get out" of the woman's mind now. Her body won't respond to her commands.

"It's why we came back down here isn't it? Weirdly large Sableye like creature? We saw it for half a second and it vanished?" He leans back on his heels and looks up at the ceiling.
"Well that and the dinosaurs we found."
