Kaeda is prepared to throw down, but it seems this stranger was here for another reason. She didn't know if this person was legit, but they seemed to know of Jane's situation. "Jane, you even know this guy? He's some kind of...ambassador?"

"Eh?" What was going on? Did that actually work? But she had already ordered all these cool candles! Jane felt this really strange mix of amazement and disappointment so it was hard to process everything. Especially that Touched bit. She tried opening her mouth again. "Eh?"
"What did you just say?" she managed to piece together after another few tries. "But I've hardly met Suicune! Neither here or there..."

"Oh..." Jane hadn't known that legendary pokémon were so contagious. But she knew better then to question semi-insane cultists that seemed to possess odd powers/knowledge. Still it seemed silly to pass up the opportunity! "Could you ask your Suicune if it knows what this means? What it does? Should I go on some epic quest?"

Lia's not comfortable that the guy knows their names but extinquishes the flames. Hearing Jane may have god powers is pretty cool though. She wants to say some things herself but Kaeda's gotta negotiate and Jane seems to have questions of her own so she just steps back out of the limelight.

The man looks at Kaeda when she speaks. He harrumphs. "Suicune is a being of peace and purification. Not a bludgeon for one to use to defeat one's enemies." He levels an intense stare at Kaeda before interrupting any smart remark or justification she may offer. "However, that is not my place to decide. Suicune itself will decide whether or not your cause is worth aiding. Even if it is only a measly Gym Battle. My personal opinion is that you should seek to better yourself rather than turning to such desperate measures solely to win a trophy." He takes a breath to calm himself, as he'd been getting all riled up over this. "Nevertheless, I shall pass along your request and return here when I have received an answer. If there is nothing else you wish to ask of me, then I shall take my leave." Barring further questions/concerns/demands, the strange cultist-like man departs.

Lia decides to finally pipe up.
"I will point out it's not really 'for a trophy'. It's a step. Getting the eight badges means you get into the league to try at being the champion. Winning that means you are in control of the whole league, and after seeing how Lilith works, a new champion would change a lot of things around here. And if one of us, for the better."

As the goal is to get a Badge, which is essentially a trophy to showcase one's accomplishments, it follows that the request is 'technically' to gain aid in obtaining a simple trophy." He responds. "I am certain I don't need to tell you that others have overcome this challenge on their own merit; without seeking aid from another Legendary. Would you say then, that you are weaker than them, Miss Starwood?" He questions Kaeda. "If so, then what makes you believe that you could overcome the next hurdle? Or the one after? If you are so weak that you need a Legendary Pokemon at your side to help you win your battles now, then one wonders how you could hope to succeed when that inevitably is not enough. Think upon this."

Kaeda rolls her eyes at this dude's speech, but what Lia says just pisses her off. She just scowls, and squeezes her face with one hand in quiet fury. "Look. All that matters is that I win. I then must keep winning until I'm the champion. Winning, and conquering this league is all that matters at the end of the day."

The man nods at Kaeda. He seems mildly surprised to find out that a Legendary Pokemon has aligned with a Gym Leader. "I hear your words, yes. Again, Suicune will receive the message, if it is not already aware of your intentions. If I may ask though, which Legendary has allied itself with this Ashandra? If memory serves, she is a Fire Specialist, correct? I know it cannot be Entei, as while I do not serve them, Signers with any of the 'sets' are vaguely aware of those who are Signers of other members of a given set."

Then again, the Pixie legendaries are known to be capricious; perhaps it was merely bored with its life before and decided to do something new. Lia backs off, waiting for Kaeda's response. She hopes she helped the situation pointing out about Victini and hopes that Ashandra won't catch wind that she did tell her. In her defense, Kaeda is the love of her life, how could she eventually not?
She eventually goes off to the side, and takes her dex out. She thinks it's finally time to bug the boss about coming back to work. And then... she has another call to make. But first, Alei.

Kaeda just sighed, and waved them off. Kaeda had family ties to the legendary, and yet these random people just happened to be so much closer. There totally wasn't some conspiracy to stack life against her was there? "Well that was so nice of them..."
