Jane eventually returns. It had felt like so long - but was it just half a day? Oh well. It didn't matter now. She looked battered, bruised and confused. But she had a satisfied and triumphant smirk plastered all over her face. When she waved at anyone she saw (plus a particularly friendly looking berry bush). When she stumbled into the shower. And when she face-planted her pillow to sleep off the exhaustion.

The next day Jane was almost presentable again. She still felt quite bruised, since she was, but other then that she was in high spirits! Though - hmm - she wanted to share her triumph. Wonder if there were anyone else home? Jane wandered around the ranch for a while looking.

Jane decides to spend most of today just having leisurely battles to train as many of her pokémon as possible. And then she'll sit down with her dex and (hopefully) look at fancy and tasty things to buy!

Eventually Jane is lured out of her bed by the scent of food. With a yawn she gets passable dressed and heads down to help herself to the ranch fridge. Maybe, now that she had money, she should start adding things instead of just eating them? Hmm. Maybe. Noon-Jane could ponder that. She was the smart one anyhow!
"Hey there! You look pretty happy." Jane waves and sits down as well. She takes a large sip of juice and wakes up a little more as the sugar starts to circulate in her blood again. "Has Kaeda decided to take up grooming lessons?"

"Neat!" Jane grins and shows off her own new shiny badge as well. Though, since she didn't recognize the three Lia had, she was probably still behind. But! "One step closer! Or several for you I guess. Congratulations!"

She puts them away and looks at Jane again.
"What have you been up to?"

"The Saffron gym!" Jane shuffles more food into her mouth. "And some training. Not sure what to do today though! I'm not sure if I want that experience twice in a week though. Certainly not in a day! Are you going for Viridian today?"

"No, not after double-duty yesterday. Too much fighting between me and the team. I'm gonna go bug my job in a bit."

Kaeda walks into the kitchen with a yawn. "Morning, everyone." Kaeda gets some juice before Jane gets all of it, and kisses Lia on the cheek. She then takes a seat at the table. "How's everyone doing?" Kaeda soon notices something shiny on the table. "Huh?....Is that...a badge?" She looks to Lia.

Kaeda frowned, and looked down at the badge. "Oh....Wow. You caught up quickly..." Lia had secured 2 badges in a day all while Kaeda was floundering. Kaeda had zero motivation to return to that gym especially when she failed with arguably her strongest team. She sighed, and pushed the badge back over to Lia.

Lia kinda knew this might be the reaction she’d get from Kaeda. She puts the badges away.
“Yeah I guess trying again after my change really helped. I did Fuschia the other day and then Celadon and Cinnabar yesterday. Helped that I didn’t do full contact for poison though.”
