Adventure Thread - Group A

Kaeda balks when Eve, of all people, speaks up on the matter. When in the holy hell did she get this info? She is about to speak up, but is cut off when Lia leaves in a rush. Kaeda pinched the bridge of her nose, and sighed. She had no choice, but to give her space. Talking would come later. She then turned to Eve, and the new poke-lady. "Eve, I have no clue how you got involved in this, but please tread with caution. And, Ms. Celestyna, I don't know you well enough to trust you, but I'll follow Lia's instinct on this. Just remember this is our home, and you are a guest. I really hope we won't regret you coming here."

Kaeda's hair has randoms strands pop out like springs in a busted machine, curl, and frizz up as Floyd just casually drops he will be traveling to find a legendary. She has no words. Kaeda nods silently with confused grimace.

Lia pops into her room to grab her guitar and just heads out into the northern Cerulean woods. She needs to not be around right now. She isn't really capable of acting on anything right now. She doesn't know anything about the sand ni- the rogue scientists it seems now, and as it seems, just trapsing into the lab in Saffron won't work. Despite how they 'don't' seem evil, they are bent on protecting their shit. She can't just 'get' in there. She has no idea where Vali is. She's potentially no closer to power pokemon. And Sasha's memories stay buried for now.

...so it's time for her own shit. She sits down next to a tree, sets up her dex against a rock so she can see the video to start tutorialing through this and stumbling through learning. She starts following (Not well at first), and there's quickly out of key twangs in the air. As she plays, she can feel Scier's glare on her.

"Dude I know you are judging me. Don't need that right now."

The Chimecho harumphs and tries to complain, but Lia ignores it to concentrate on her music.

"I'm mad. Just let me be mad for a while. There aint a quick fix for it. It ain't Eve' fault."

...I think.

She keeps playing a while, unbeknownst to any shenanigans around her as she begins to grasp it...

"You came to Kanto from Sinnoh?!" Eve asks, incredulous, eyes wide and all that, "But you're not even old enough to graduate high school!". Granted, something like "graduating high school" didn't hold much weight in the Pokemon world at large, but still. Still, once Floyd mentioned her job and the detriment suddenly leaving might have on her chances on getting it, since she had no guarantee if she would be hired or not yet, Eve could do nothing but grumble. "Seriously," she complained, "You guys are all really something..."

Kaeda slips away from Floyd and Eve having their conversation. She is a bit worried where Lia stormed off to, but she probably wanted to be alone. She returns to her room to contemplate on where to head to next. That rock gym was not going to happen again, but at face value, seemed like the easiest. Perhaps she could catch the fairy gym in Silver town. Dark city didn't list a type, but she was not going against dark or steel. She would just have to see later. Kaeda sighed, and waited for Lia to come back.

Kaeda looks up from her pokedex, and watches Lia move about the room. Guess it was time to talk now. Kaeda pokes Lia's side with her toes. "Hey...Welcome back."

Kaeda moves from her spot, and sits down next to Lia. "Yeah. That does sound rough. What was this whole trip going to accomplish anyways? You did just sort of take off immediately after you told me about it."
