That's it. She's now being punished for pushing herself too far just for a damn win. And she's going to be bed-ridden for a half a year at least now.

Lia feels miserable and just wants to run out of the office but she 'can't' in this condition. She's fucked this ALL up.

"I know it's going to be hard, knowing you can't move at all, but you'll be well taken care of. For now, try to focus on getting some rest. If you need anything, someone will be by every hour to check on you."

Tears stream down Lia's face inside this big cast. Why. Why did it come to this. She hates herself right now. She's just made herself a burden onto everyone, most importantly Kaeda. She just sobs lightly, unable to do much else.

The remainder of the day passes by uneventfully, with some nurse or another dropping by every hour to make sure Lia stays hydrated and what not. Eventually, Nalkeya strolls in.
"Heya. Ya doin' alright? All things considered?" She still has on that same cheeky grin as ever. It's almost like that smirk never fades from her face.

Nalkeya's eyes go wide as Lia charges at her. Clearly she wasn't expecting this reaction! Having had plenty of time of her own to rest, however, she absorbs the majority of the shock from the blow.
"Hey, hey, hey! Whoa! Slow down there, tiger! You don't want to actually put yourself in the hospital for a year, do you?!"

Lia backs up for a moment after the attack as her pain catches up with her and she winces as her entire body. She just leans against the wall and stares down Nalkeya.
"What does it matter to you if I do at this point!? You clearly don't care to the point that you'd put me in here, get a stranger to play a doctor, just to tell me I'm going to be stuck UNABLE TO MOVE in a bed forever! WHO THE FUCK DOES THAT? That's not a joke, that's just cruel!"
Lia pulls something out of her bag.
"You know what!"
She pulls her badges out and literally starts winging them at Nalkeya.
"Fuck this league! All it's done is make me miserable and deal with assholes and tyrants! Maybe Aleisandra was wrong to try and fight to stay, she shouldn't be IN this fucking business! All it'll do is turn her into someone like you or Lilith just to stay in! So fucking HAVE these, and have a monster like Lilith for your boss. You two DESERVE each other!"
Lia then (very painfully) chucks the whole case at the wall for it to smash into pieces.
"And if I stay I'll head that way too! So I'm not! Cause I'm done! I'm done with this fucking league, and I'm done with this fucking country! All it's done is make me risk my body, and drive me crazy trying to think what I'm doing wrong when I lose... and for what?! Nothing! I FUCKING QUIT!"
Lia's face is red from her screaming and her pain has caught up with her. She slides against the wall and clutches her ribs, breathing heavy to try and fight the pain.

Nalkeya nimbly evades all the objects thrown at her. She actually looks downcast. "Dumb Nalkeya, always going and ruining things by taking it too far." She mumbles to herself. "Aubri warned you about this prank when you told her about it, but nooo, you had to do it anyway. Now more people hate you. Stupid, dumb, bitch Nalkeya..." She starts carefully picking up the pieces of the badge case, plus each of Lia's badges. She gingerly sets the collection on the nearby table and walks out the door. She stops only briefly to inform Lia of how to leave.
"Whenever you're ready to leave, exit is out this door to your left..."

Lia gets up after the leader has left, and grips herself, still in a lot of plain. She 'should' rest more but if she stays here she'll trash the room out of anger. Somewhere in the back of her mind she wanted to say something to Nalkeya, as anyone would have said something to her if she acted the same way, but Lia's mostly furious about everything, so that's not going to happen. Maybe her girlfriend will knock some sense into her finally. Lia gathers her stuff, and goes to the doorway. The pieces of her badge case are on the table. She briefly considers picking them up, but then again, really none of them have any good memories anymore. She swipes the whole pile to scatter across the room in a fury again before storming (Limping) out.
She heads to the nearest center, and after more rest, she knows Avitus will be a terrible idea with her condition, so she just takes the bus back.
By the time she makes it back to Cerulean and the ranch, if anyone is even home, anyone will notice that Lia looks 'miserable' and even more damaged than before. Lia just drops her bag and just sits down in the kitchen and rests her head on the counter and puts her hands over her head.

Kaeda returns home after her day of training. "I'm back!" Kaeda enters the kitchen, and stops when she sees Lia. "Lia? Hey, are you alright?"

Lia still doesn't move, or look up.
"Went to Celadon, tried to beat the crap out of Atropa only to tie with her and fall myself before she did. Then we healed up and Nalkeya said that I technically didn't lose so I could fight her. Then I pushed myself to the breaking point only to lose with four of her pokemon vs Brunhilda. Then I woke up in a full body cast thinking I had a half of year of being bed-ridden cause I pushed myself too far. But it was all a stupid prank of Nalkeya's and I blew up at her, and threw my badges all across the room and..."
She sighs into the table.
"I quit. I'm done with this league. It's just made me hurt myself and be miserable. I've been thinking this for a while but seeing a 'what-if' scenario made manifest plus my frustration was the straw on the numel's back. I made a mistake coming to Kanto in the first place..."
A couple tears stream down her face onto the table.
"Anastasia was right, I let Los get out of my control. I'm a shitty trainer."

From where you came from, to here, you have pushed, and fought to become even stronger. Remember that fire you had when you beat all of us here at the ranch after that Lavender town incident? You are not a shitty trainer. I know you can reign Los in. Your friends, and pokemon love and respect you. You are allowed to quit, but let's wait, and see when you take a rest. Ok?" Kaeda helps the lump of Lia to their bedroom, and gets her onto the bed. "You deserve some rest. I'll get us some treats, so we can talk, eat, and cry all we want." Kaeda wipes her tears away, and kisses her. "You coming to Kanto is the best thing that could've happened, love."
