Adventure Thread - Group A

Looking around the room proves that this is indeed a regular locker room. Oh hey look, there's a Jacuzzi in the next room. It's not currently active, but it's there. Peering into (or just opening) a locker or two reveals some random Gym Trainer outfits (same one as Lia has from before), and some other random possessions but no word on whose they may be. Probably nobody of import. Seems kinda odd that they don't even lock up their stuff. Granted, there's not much worth stealing if one had a mind to, and getting here in the first place was quite a hassle, even knowing that the 'back door' exists. There are even showers around. Likely these are for people using the Jacuzzi to get cleaned up before and after.

In any case, nobody seems to be at home; or at least nobody is in the locker room right now. There are a number of exits from this room, one each in the North, South, and Eastern walls. The vent was on the Western wall, and the Jacuzzi is to the South. That leaves only North and East.

The North door leads to a narrow hallway that continues on for a bit, ending at a set of double doors. Marching on through these, Lia finds herself in a new room. It's not the "main" room, but looks like an actual rec-room. A place where folks just hang out and relax or whatever. She spies a familiar head of blonde hair sitting on the couch, munching on popcorn as she watches some old tv show or something.

"Yo! Hope ya didn't have too much trouble there, Muscles-for-Brains. Pull up some couch, watch some slapstick." She offers the bowl of popcorn to Lia. "Want some?"

Lia

Nalkeya looks at you oddly for a moment, then seems to remember something. "Oh, wow. I haven't thought about that place in ages. Used to be my little hideaway when the Champion came knocking. Then I found better places to hide, like in plain sight." She winks at you and then is suddenly gone. Where once Nalkeya was sitting is now just the TV remote. Just as suddenly as she vanished, she's back in the blink of an eye. She grins at you, as if expecting you to be surprised or impressed. "As for the fingerprint lock on the laptop, it's a really old laptop. Back when fingerprint locks were all the rage. Like.. what.. 10 years ago now? Something like that."

Eve

You receive a strange message on your Pokedex at some point during the day.

"Have you ever wondered what it must be like to be a Pokemon? Do you find yourself wanting to be closer to your Pokemon, for research or otherwise? We can help. You need only ask."

There is no return address to the message, and no indication of who 'we' is, nor how they plan to accomplish such things. Maybe you just need to say 'I want to know' out loud? But then.. how do they know? The researcher that is Eve V. Lucian must know! Especially if it potentially involves Eevees!

Nalkeya shrugs. "It's quite possible that one of the trainers cleaned the room a bit in order to use it. You know those girls who were poking fun at you when you first came in here all those weeks ago? Could be they were planning to use it as a hideaway of their own. Or something. I dunno what those gals get up to when they aren't hanging around here. I want to say they're related somehow.." She shakes her head. "Either way though, you wanted to fight 'Tropy again? Well, you're in luck, 'cause she just got back yesterday. Called me up and said she's ready to come back to kick ass and take names. But she's also not here right now. She got herself a boyfriend at some point recently and spends the nights at his place." She waggles her eyebrows suggestively at you.

"Oh riiight, you just got all flustered and ran off to get your future gf to try and beat us at our own game. It was super cute that you tried that, by the way." She flashes Lia a cheeky grin as they settle in to watch some fun slapstick comedy show. Nalkeya doesn't even need to get up when the popcorn starts to run out, instead just reaching down underneath the couch and producing a fresh bag from what appears to be a hidden microwave. Eventually Mary shows up, followed by Atropa. Mary plops down on the couch next to you and Nalkeya bounces to her feet to chat with Atropa for a bit. By the annoyed look on Atropa's face, seems Nalkeya must be nagging her to spill all the dirty details of her 'interaction' with her boyfriend and she's not too keen to share. Eventually she just shoves off a grinning Nalkeya and walks over to you.

"So Nalk tells me that you're here to actually fight for once." Atropa says.

"Oh good, so I don't have to waste my time for once." Mary comments, though Atropa ignores her.

"So, how many Pokemon you risking? Three? Four? Six?" Atropa inquires.

Floyd follows Mary in and stands next to the door, silently looking around, raising an eyebrow at what he overhears Nalkeya saying to Atropa.

Floyd smiles and nods.

"This should be a good show." He replies.

Eve didn't do much more than glance at the email before she got excited. Then, at a second glance, she deflated, realizing that this was probably spam mail, the new version of the Nigerian prince or the African diamonds. Though, a third look (because the researcher in Eve was sort of interested) revealed to her that this spam mail was actually worse than its predecessors. It didn't even have a return address to respond to, which was just silly... and sort of sketchy. The only sane course of action would be to delete the message and never pay it any more heed, which was exactly what Eve planned to do. She just also, nanoseconds before her finger pressed down on the trash icon, admitted, "Well... I wish it was true..."
