Kaeda has her back to Lia, smirks, and quickly acts like she's putting the last of her clothes on. She turns around fixing herself. "Hmmm? Absolutely not." She walks over. "You getting ready to head out?"

Lia glares knowingly at Kaeda's shenanigans, and heads over.
"Oh no, not yet. Caylx is gotta direct us to where we are going once Floyd snaps out of whatever meditation he's put himself into the last thirty minutes. Unless Los 'senses' something first, that is. I just came to check in on ya cause I was getting a little bored just staring out into the sea."

Eve, for her part, conveys absolutely nothing for Lia to be jealous of. In that hour of free time, she'd finished her short study of Orpheus's mega jewel, handing it back to the generous Gardevoir with a second, "Thank you," after she'd written down what measurable properties she could observe with her limited resources. After that, she'd set about doing some of the work she had brought along with her for this express purpose. It was largely reviewing and organizing her notes and observations, both on what she'd read from other studies and her own field work. Over the course of that hour, Eve had gradually released each of her Pokemon, so now she was lying under and on top of a comfy pile of Eeveelutions plus one Florges. A few papers were strewn about her, but luckily, most of her stuff was on the computer.

After a few more agonizing hours of waiting for Calyx or Los to "sense" something, the Blastoise emerges onto the deck and stares intensely off into the distance. It doesn't take a psychic to tell that he's got that thousand-yard stare going on. Obviously Calyx has finally begun to sense something. He raises a single arm and points off towards the "North-North-east". Recalling what Aleisandra said to her, Lia realizes that just because Calyx now senses "something" doesn't necessarily mean that you are closing in on it. In her words, it took quite some time just to reach the point where the journey officially began, then there was something about "moving large boulders while underwater" in order to access the tunnel leading to the "Secret Squirtle Island" or whatever.
Los, on the other hand, when allowed out of her Pokeball keeps trying to leap into the ocean to go after random Wild Pokemon that pop up alongside the boat, or to snap at her own reflection even.

Lia makes sure to put the gps collar on Los and lets her go swim around for a while.
"Just try to not piss off 'all' the sea creatures ok?"
Lia keeps Aleisandra's words in mind as she goes to Floyd and the Captain.
"Alright no idea if it's right there but it's the best we can do for now. Keep on that direction and we'll see what happens."

The Captain nods. "Sure thing, Ma'am. I'll go wherever you need to." He begins to steer the boat in the indicated direction.

As they sail, Lia watches Calyx and Los, seeing if there's any further reaction, but it seems to not rise any more than it has. Lia just spends some time fishing up some pokemon for her team to train against, mostly the dimunitive Piplup Karzel, who needs it the most. As much as it feels like it should evolve, it doesn't, and remains tiny and adorable. Lia's heart can't take it. Training seems hard for it, but after that it seems to be quite a bit stronger. All it needed was some love. Lia swears if she ever found the things parents who just left the poor thing out in the cold to die, she'd beat the shit out of them personally. But that's back in the Safari zone, and a long way from here. Scier has a lot of fun playing tag with the little guy on the deck, while Lia watches on. She sighs heavily.
Shit, that's one thing I didn't prep for. Boredom.

Eve paces herself through her work, dividing her time between nerding it out, training her Pokemon, and messing around with her Pokemon. She follows Lia's example... ish. Not having a fishing rod of her own, she has to drag in poor wild sacrifices Pokemon to train on the old fashioned way: throwing her own Pokemon out to aggro them. Since Lea was going to be her focus for the next few days, she initially tossed Lea out... straight into the ocean... with no warning whatsoever. Lea was... well... not too pleased by this turn of events, which she was very keen on making clear. After clambering back on board, victorious but soaking wet, the Eevee gave Eve a death glare and proceeded to ignore all instructions. Eve had to profusely apologize, with treats and everything, before Lea would even start listening. From that point on Eve's one-day training montage incorporated all 6 of her Pokemon. Bringing out fliers and levitaters first to pull in Pokemon, then switching those out with other pokemon when the target was close enough to the ship.
Sometime over the course of this balanced training, Lea evolves. Dungeon, get-to! It also means Eve is squealing in joy like a fangirl as she jumps around and takes a rather overkill amount of notes.

Kaeda loses the top, and waist cloth to sport her new bikini. She lets out her Lapras who lets out a cry as she enjoys being in the big ocean. Kaeda hops onto her back, and floats not to far off from the boat. She pulls out a fancy looking briefcase, opens it, and assembles her incredibly expensive fishing rod. Once she has set up the rod, and bait, she lounges as she casts out the lure to hopefully catch something nice.

Lia rests on the deck and sees Kaeda out fishing out there. She calls out to her girlfriend.
"Keep your eye on the boat so we don't get seperated, ok!?"

During the journey Floyd alternates between standing in silence next to Calyx, practising with his knife and spending time with his pokemon; Alisa the Automateon, Telum the Magnezone, Messor the Dusclops and Meus the Weezing.

On day 2 of the trip, Eve trains her Pokemon as per usual and, just like the previous day, sends them out for some wild battles. Her method is similar. Send out the members of her team that didn't mind getting wet to aggro any nearby wild pokemon and have them drag the unwitting foes closer to the boat for others to partake in the battle. Today, though, she takes a bit more in time in searching out specific Pokemon. Well, literally one specific Pokemon, the only water type Eve V. Lucian would have any immediate interest in.

Lia takes another day just some light training for her new Piplup but otherwise is getting clearly antsy without anything happening. She spends some time pacing the deck while the others fish.

After another long day at sea, Calyx suddenly changes the boat's heading. You are now headed almost directly north and farther out to sea. Along the way, you are suddenly alerted to what looks like a massive, swirling twister directly out ahead. As you draw closer to try and find a way around it, you discover that it is not just one, but many. In fact, they are literal twisters. As in, the Pokemon move, used by a pair of feuding Gyarados. Their battle is taking up the entire area and getting much closer might cause them to turn on you. Calyx indicates that the way to go is right past the two Gyarados.
Your safest option is to back off and let them fight it out, but that still comes with the risk of the growing storm capsizing the ship. Option #2 is to try and intervene to fight them off/push past them (maybe Floyd's Magnezone can help?). Of course, if you sit still too long, they'll probably notice you and attack. What do?

Lia steps forward and puts her arm around Kaeda.
"Babe... I think it's time for our little tag team to get to work."
Lia tosses out Undine, her Minun and looks to her girlfriend.
"Between these two, and Floyd's big ol UFO we should be able to zap em into oblivion. Cause I ain't about to let us just get hit by them and doin nothing."

Kaeda nods, and tosses out her Plusle, Mysz. It happily joins his partner pokemon. "Sounds like a plan. Hopefully they'll be taken care of before they get too close." She puts her own arm around Lia, and looks to the red, and blue pair. "You two ready?"

Eve ponders for a bit, wondering if her lasers will reach the Gyarados from here, and then sends out Florges. She really only had two choices here, and she would rather not send her dragon type into the dragon attacks. Yeah, that wasn't too good of an idea.
