Lia shakes her head. This is a 'good' morning. It's staying that way.
"Ah. Nevermind. I doubt her shit even works on you. But congrats on the other stuff, we'll have to talk about that later. Cause I gotta head back to work today or else I'd ask you about it. I did want to ask you something, though. Calyx is the one you are going to try for a Mega Stone, right? Wait hold on a sec. Kaeda, come here a minute."

Floyd says, looking at Lia with a confused expression.

Kaeda giggles at Lia's antics. She then taps her chin, and places a hand on her hip. "Wow. Congragulations, Floyd. You've accomplished some pretty big goals there. Oh speaking of mega stones, I-..." She looks at Lia, and they go off to the side for a second. "What is it?"

She looks surprised when Floyd doesn't seem to know what a Mega stone is.
"Has nobody told you- Wait you've seen one! Evil leather clad ladies freaking charizard was one! Although hers is weird. But yeah even Kaeda and Vince have one. It's for powering up certain pokemon. Your Blastoise can do it, and I've seen one. Want Calyx to have a GIANT fucking cannon instead of the two little ones? We need to find your Blastoise's stone. Apparently its out in the ocean somewhere, and could possibly be Los's place as well. Boss said that's where she found hers anyway. But you need a stone and an item to put the stone in, and you can order an item from the league. I can ask her to get you one. Oh- Kaeda there you are. One second."
As if Floyd isn't there, Lia grabs Kaeda, and gives her a deep passionate kiss, even leaning over to show off. She lifts back up, lets go of her, and turns to Floyd and continues as if NOTHING had happened.
"But yeah I was going to ask if you wanted to make the journey together out in the open sea, we can find both of ours! Once I get time off anyway."

Floyd says to Lia, surprised by her outburst. He blinks when she kisses Kaeda then shrugs as she turns back.

"Nah, it wasn't. I think it was one of those weird typed ones but it did mega evolve. I've seen a couple so far."
Lia tilts her head to the side when Floyd doesn't give her anything.
"Really. Kaeda and I were trying to kill eachother weeks ago, and you got nothing for that?"
Lia throws up her hands.
"Don't worry about the gym problem, I'm ok man. Didn't even get a fight as the place was too busy trying to fuck with me. I ain't worried about it now, I'll just have to go in down the line."

"We got together last night, doofus. Can see how you thought this gym was a breeze."
Lia sighs, but continues.
"I was told hers was a week of exploring, so it could be more, could be less. Really all I have to go on. One way or another, I'm doing mine to find one for Los. I'd really appreciate your help, man. I just thought you'd want to find yours as well."

"The gym was a dark room with girls talking and giggling, then a fight I lost then waking up in a series of weird trick rooms in my pants. So long as you were patient the trick rooms weren't that hard - did you try and punch your way out or something?"
Floyd asks, returning to his original line of thoguht.
"Anyway, I guess I'm up for a trip into the unknown - we should look into boats for rent and how to actually sail them. And you should probably find out when you can get time off of work for it. I'm going to challenge the gym here today, so if I win I guess I'll head to Vermilion and get started on that. What are your intended movements?"
He says to Lia once he processes what she's said.

is the earliest I can take time off today. I'll call you with the deets later. For now, I'm headed back to Cerulean then maybe attempting... maybe Saffron? Or maybe I'll do like you and attempt the Hail Badge. Haven't been to Fuschia yet. How was that one?"

"We were also talking about what we were doing next. He's gonna try for this gym here and head back to Vermillion.
I was thinking we could avoid this gym here and head to Saffron, or maybe Fuschia? I mean between the both of us we got fighting weaknesses for days..."

"Hmm. I feel my team can go up against these next three gyms, but I'm sure they'll find a way for my advantages to quickly become disadvantages. So, my desire to go challenging gyms is quite low right now. I would like to go see the Safari Zone in Fuchsia though."

"Fuchsia's gym is ice typed. You have to climb a mountain to challenge the leader, so dress warm. I didn't go to the safari zone so I can't speak for it at all."

"Alright then, Fuschia it is. I'd like to try the zone as well, that'd be fun. Maybe you'll catch something that'll help you out with those gyms."
Lia cringes a little when Floyd mentions climbing a mountain. She gives a glance over at Kaeda, and I guess the connection between them both is already pretty strong as she is the first thing on her mind, worrying about how she's going to be able to do that.
"Will do Floyd. I actually got a nice thick cloak yesterday so I guess I'm already a bit ready."
She pauses, remembering what they gotta do.
"Really wish I could stay and catch up more with ya Floyd but we gotta be catching the bus if we are to get back in time. Maybe remember that you have a phone so I don't have to hunt around to find you, ok?"
