Kaeda recalls her pokemon, and rubs her sore shoulder. "Ugh...That...Sucked....I don't know about you guys, but let's head back up to those rangers. We need a rest badly..." She starts making her way back, wincing, and groaning with every step.

The group retreats to the safety of the ranger camp on level 2. Thankfully, they are still there. Confusion abounds on all sides, but the gist of it is: the party got beat up a lot more than they expected by a couple of damage-sponging Lileep. Hearing about the extensive injuries some of the party's Pokemon have, the rangers offer to escort them back to the Center outside for proper treatment and care.

Kaeda kindly (but-not-so-kindly) accepts the escort from the rangers. (More like, she still has some pride to order them to escort them out.) All the way out, she constantly mumbles about "stupid flowers" In the morning: Kaeda gets up, and spends her morning routine of doing her hair and make-up done. She then receives her pokemon back from the nurse, and brings out Orpheus. "Morning, Sweetie." She picks up the Kirlia in her arms, and they both look each other in the eyes. "Rough day..." "Rough..." "Remind me to never accept flowers ever again." "Yes." "Shall we take a small stroll down the road?" "Yes, please." Orpheus hops down gracefully, and both exit the building.

Heading back to the center after a small walk, Kaeda still looks a bit peeved. "Kaeda..." "I'm ok, Orpheus. Just a bit miffed about yesterday. I'm not upset with any of you, so don't worry." "Ok..." "......" After a few moments, Kaeda picks Orpheus up, gives her a kiss on the forehead, and holds her in her arms again. "You know what I am mad at? Flowers! Dumb, rock, flowers...." Orpheus smiles."Kaeda, i've been told to remind you, to never accept flowers ever again." "Oh thank you, sweetheart! I knew I could count on you!" They both enter the pokemon center, and wait for the others to meet up. |

Once Kaeda gets back to the center, she'll hear a familiar voice. "Well, well, well. Look who looks like an Onix rolled over her. Also... noticibly NOT in Vermilion."Lia is leaning against the center, having just finished her morning training with her pokemon. Scier notices Lia addressing the girl from yesterday morning, and floats over, waving to the Kirlia. Lia smirks. "Sup, Kaeda."Lia xp trains Skala and Los

Kaeda stops upon hearing...that voice. She quickly puts on her "for show" face, and looks at Lia. "UUGGHHhhhh....you...," She thought with a little contempt. Orpheus smiles and waves, but then looks up at Kaeda with a concerned smile, hoping another fight doesn't break out. She looks down at her lovable friend, and sighs. "Today is gonna be-....Don't worry. I'm...happy to see her again..." She walks over to Lia. Kaeda's fake, plastic smile shows a few cracks to form something more genuine...for better or worse. "....Ooohhhh....you...." A look of shock, distress, and tiredness comes over Orpheus.
"You finally caught up. Good to see you again..............>>........sooooo....<<....How did it go...whatever you did?"

Lia tries 'really' hard not to bust up laughing from Kaeda's obvious discomfort.
"Yeah I caught up but I didn't even know you guys had come here. Pretty sure when I left you were all talkin still. Figured you'd be in Vermilion and taking on the gym by now."
There's a moment of discomfort for Lia as well when Kaeda mentions what she spent the day doing. Just a smidge, and she goes to deflect it.
"Yeah I went to my job at the gym. Tested trainer's mettle, y'know."
Lia pauses for a moment before switching to genuine concern.
"I know I was joking before, but you do look like you genuinely got rolled over by an Onix. You alright?"

Kaeda raises an eyebrow at Lia's limp answer, but just shrugs. She then sighs, and flicks her hair over her shoulder. "Wish it was an Onix, but you're in the right type range. Plus, I'm not the only one who got rolled over."
Orpheus looks up at Kaeda, "I was told to remind you to never acc-" "YES!!....Sweetheart. I know. Thank you very much." She looks back to Lia.
"We went pretty deep into the tunnel, and everything was going fine. But, some certain flower-like pokemon gave us some trouble near the end. Soured the rest of the day, so we came back to rest. So...Here we are......he...hehehe! Wow, didn't think a casual conversation was possible with the two of us. I didn't even need to slow down my speech for you or anything!" Orpheus puts her face in her hands, and shakes her head. "Anyways it's great to have you back. Should be nice to travel together instead of a girl, and two boys. You know, 'Girls stick together,' and all that jazz" She is sincere, but it comes out sounding off-handed while looking at her nails. "And, with you here, we shouldn't run into any trouble down in the cave." She giggles, and gives a much more genuine smile.

Kaeda's answer makes Lia's mind reel a bit. Lia puts her fingers to her temple from the headache it gives her.
"Yeah, we'll have a freakin girls night out and everything."
Lia sighs.
"I don't know if you 'know' you are doing it or anything, but we've only known each other for a little bit. Not enough to say that we can't chat or anything like freakin human beings. It's insulting. And speaking of insults... you are going to pay for that other one."
Before Kaeda can react, Lia basically scoops up the woman and throws her over her shoulder like a sack of potatoes.

Kaeda probably starts complaining at this point, and Lia ignores her complaints and heads toward the center.
"Shoot Kaeda, I'm real gosh darn sorry. You'll have to speak slower for my here simple mind. Cause that's not elitist or anything..."
Lia busts through the center doors.
"Yo! I'm looking for this kid's caretakers! There's a broody dude in a hood and another in a big ol suit of armor. Cutest couple you'd ever see."

Floyd stares at Lia and Kaeda from where he's standing partway up the mountain, after a training session and a morning hike.
"This is probably a good thing." He says to Telum, who's floating by his shoulder. "Last time they were hitting each other, so this is a step up." He continues down the mountain but doesn't do anything to call attention to himself, wondering what the scene will be when he makes it into the pokemon centre.

Kaeda smirks, and sticks out her hip. "Oh really, Lia. Common people like just do--WHA-!? WHAWHA!?! AAAHHH! LIAAAA!! PUT ME DOWN!! RIGHT NOW!!" She thrashes around in Lia's grip like a mad person as Orpheus follows behind with a look of pity. "PUT ME D-!! YOU ARE THE WORST!! YOU'RE A BRUTE!! YOU...YOU-...UNCULTURED SWINE!! YOU CHARMLESS WITCH!! YOU HAVE THE ARMS OF A MACHOKE, THIGHS THE SIZE OF WAILORDS, AND A CHEST AS FLAT AS A STUNFISK!!!! YOU-....OH MY GOSH OHMYGOSH!! DON'T TAKE ME INSI- LIA!! M-MY S-S-SKIRT, LIA!!!"
Further scrambling, flailing, and screaming come from Kaeda as she pins her arms to her sides to hold her skirt down. She tries her best to choke out more insults as her face is pure red, and tears in her eyes from embarrassment.

Vincent blinks at the chaos, having been silent for the whole exchange between Lia and Kaeda. He scratches his head for a moment before deciding that he wasn't going to comment. Nonplussed, he strides into the center, acting as if nothing had happened.

Floyd walk in the Pokemon Centre a minute after Vincent and shakes his head when he sees that Lia and Kaede are still carrying on.
"You should probably put her down now Lia, you're causing a scene." He suggests, glancing at Vincent.
"Morning." He keeps moving forwards and comes to a stop immediately behind Lia.
"But since oyu already caused one." He said thinking for a moment before stepping forwards and giving Lia a shove, intending to make her and Kaeda hit the floor.

At the point Kaeda had started screaming insults at her, Lia was red in the face, tearing up from laughter. So much so she couldn't hear (or tell he was there) what Floyd was saying. She practically doubles over, and this point letting Keadra roll off to safety cause she is coughing she is laughing so hard. And then Floyd goes for the push...

"How'd your day go? We discovered that caves are all the same - dark and full of pokemon." He says stepping around her on the way to the pc.

Kaeda, who has been non-stop screaming, suddenly goes crashing to the floor after Floyd's interference. She crashes to the ground with a loud smack, and groans as she lays there for a bit. Orpheus goes over to help her up, and Kaeda, after catching her breath, begins another tirade of insults. "I....I-I have never.....I can't believe...you....YOU!......Is this the thanks I get... ouch!...for welcoming b-back a friend!?" She stumbles around a bit on shaky legs. "I've never met...ohmygosh! I can't!....I try to be welcoming, and you....MANHANDLE ME!?!?!?!" Kead looks around at the nurser, and other random people staring at the scene unfolding in front of them. ".....WHADA YOU ALL LOOKING AT!?!?! I'M KAEDA STARWOOD!! I SHOULD CHARGE YOU ALL TO BE IN MY PRESENCE! I COULD BUY YOUR HOMES, AND PUT YOU ON THE STREETS!!!! EXCEPT THIS ONE!!," pointing at Lia. "Lock this...URSARING IN A CAGE!!!" Orpheus takes her hands, and walks her over to a seat, and Kaeda falls into a chair, still rambling, and complaining almost incoherently.

Lia glares pure DAGGERS at Floyd. If she is bothered by Kaeda's words, she doesn't look it. Poor Scier is in pure shock at this point, not even floating in the air, having sat on the ground near the door.
" 'Nice to see you again'? After straight up pushing me out the way? Floyd you dense piece of armored-"
Lia doesn't even finish her thought, spinning in place from her spot on the floor, going for Floyd's legs.
Assuming that's Acrobatics...

Floyd laughs as he falls, hitting the ground with a loud clang. He lies still for for a few moment, his shoulders shaking as he keeps laughing.
"N-not like I could get away with picking you up." He says as he gets his amusement under control. He looks at Kaeda and starts laughing again.

Lia sits up as he falls, ready to pounce, until Floyd starts laughing. She stares for a moment.
"Floyd... Pffffft!"
Lia begins laughing again, and gets up. She pats Floyd on the head before offering him an arm of assistance.
"No you wouldn't get away with that you giant dummy."
