Kaeda tilts her head slightly. "Hmm. Quite the wordy suggestion. Seems like they have been through some stuff. But, he does seem pretty dependable." She nods towards Vincent. "Vermillion sounds like a terrific idea. Shall we?" Kaeda retrieves her pokemon, and exits the center.

Vincent follows Kaeda out of the center. Hmm I'll have to see if I can't get Kaeda to act a little more civil towards Lia once she catches up to us. I have no real problem with letting Kaeda join us, but if she's going to be annoying to deal with and abrasive to my friend, I don't want to be around her more than I need to be. Oh well, that's a matter for later. Vincent pulls himself out of his thoughts and starts heading for the city outskirts.

Kaeda keeps an open mind for second just to get a feel of her friends thoughts, and hears some of Vincent's words. She smirks, and to herself, "Ohoho...That is cute. Maybe I'll play around with a bit. No harm..." She turns to face Vincent, but is now walking backwards. She taps her temple, and with a playful, flirty voice, "Oh Vincent, don't worry your head about a thing. I'm a good girl. Sorry if I did something wrong. I had no idea you and Lia were so...'close' I hope we could be close too..." She winks, turns back around, and giggles.

"That's what I was thinking," Vincent replies to Floyd. He's just about to continue talking, when Kaeda speaks up. At first Vincent is mostly just surprised, trying not to let her flirting tone of voice affect him. She must have some very good intuition to be able to tell that I was 'worrying' about something. Wait... How does she know that I was thinking about her. Then he remembers how she tapped her temple. She's crazy? Wait no... Psychic? That would explain it. I'm not going to lie, with how often I monologue in my head, I probably must have been an easy read. That doesn't make it cool though. Not at all. So much for being a good girl.
Vincent frowns a little. "I'm impressed. I've never encountered a psychic before. That doesn't make it alright for you to read my mind without permission though. If we're going to be 'close'-" Vincent prides himself on only feeling the barest hint of warmth in his cheeks here "-We are going to need to put a stop to that."

Kaeda freezes, turns back around, and holds her cheeks, "Vincent! Boys shouldn't come out and say stuff like that! If you wanna get close, be bit more subtle! Geez! Also, thank you. I tend to impress people." She puts her hands on her hips. "And don't worry. I'm not here to invade your privacy, or steal you away." She winks again. "Just having some fun. But...." Telepathically, "If you want a private conversation, just ask." She smirks, and takes out two of her pokemon. "If you all don't mind, we are going to do a few mental exercises." She sends them out, and they meditate while strolling along. An open ear is also kept open for a possible pokemon encounter.XP Training

Floyd looks confused at the others for a moment before shaking his head and pulling out his pokedex.
"If you two still need to train your pokemon I'll be making some last minute purchases." He says, checking the ranch's status as he does.
"We'll meet at the east road in an hour." He says, turning to leave.
'Telum clearly enjoys the visor I had made for him. I should probably look into items that the others can hold. Considering how far we've come I definitely owe Calyx as much attention as I give Telum. He thinks, planning out whta he'd buy.
'Flagela will probably be happy running around with that cloak I found. It'd have to be something non-edible for Esuri...

Vincent, seeing that his attempt at teasing back didn't work out, at least appreciates that his comment surprised Kaeda. Vincent decides to say nothing more, and instead sends out his team. "Time to train guys," Vincent tells his team. Wrona, being new, seems uncomfortable. "Wrona, come here for a minute." The Pokemon obeys, trying to look like she's not nervous. "I'm Vincent, your new Trainer. I think Lia gave you to me because she knows I appreciate power in a Pokemon, and I think you have a lot of power in you. Let's see that power reach it's full potential together, eh?" Vincent holds out his hand. Wrona does a bat version of a scoff, but puts one wing softly into his hand, before withdrawing it. Vincent smiles. He looks at the rest of the team, who were watching the byplay. "Alright team, get on with it, less gawking and more training."Vincent puts his Pokemon through their paces as usual. When he's done he realizes that he should also make some quick purchases and heads into town again, before going to the meeting place at the east road. XP, Focused and Brutal Training on all six of his current team; Carlin, Vel, Cal, Wrona, Nox and Vex. Applied Dark Art and Signature Technique to Wrona, making Air Cutter Physical. |

After her mental training, Kaeda returns to the meeting spot with Orpheus following by her side, and a Drifloon holding onto her wrist.

Floyd arrives to the meeting point last, accompanied by Flagela the Simisage. He whistles cheerfully as the leafy monkey balances on top of his head.
"Excellent, we're all ready." He says upon seeing the others. "Shall we get going? We don't want to be caught in Rock Tunnel at night, It gets real dark." He says as he moves ahead.

Kaeda follows behind him. "Yes let us move quickly. My lovely Lampent, Pyro Jack, can provide some light, but only so much in a dark cave." She watches Orpheus tip toe infront of her, and her Drifloon, who she has decided to name Charon, sways happily in the wind without fear of crashing into objects.

Nothing eventful happens on the way to Rock Tunnel. Your group checks in at the Pokemon Center just outside of the tunnel so that someone else knows you're going in. The Nurse on duty, Jocelyn (or "Joy" for short), takes down your names and the approximate time you checked in. She asks if you are passing through or 'exploring'. When you all agree that you are interested in exploring it, she only cautions that you not go too deep (you'll know when you're reaching the most dangerous areas) and play it safe where you can.
A digital map of Rock Tunnel levels 1 and 2 is downloaded to everyone's Pokedex, and then you are free to go.

Floyd clicks on his torch and curiously looks around, Flagela mimicing him while hanging from his backpack. He spots a pink apricorn, picking up the hard shelled fruit and pocketing it.

This time, Floyd happens to spot a Water Stone that's partially excavated from a wall. After a few minutes of digging and pulling, it pops out.

Hidden in a small alcove in the wall of the cave, Kaeda finds a small bag with some sort of dried food rations and a weird-looking item in it. Checking a special "items database" for trainers via the Pokedex, the group identifies it as a "Stat Booster". Something that enhances the natural attributes of a Pokemon that wears it. This one is keyed for physical defenses.

Kaeda tosses the Stat Booster from hand to hand. "Cool. Hold onto this for sure." She stores it, and continues on.
