Upon examining the room your group has just entered, you find what looks to be a passageway leading down further into Rock Tunnel. A little box next to the "entrance" to this passageway, labeled 'Medical Supplies' has a Poke-Vitamin in it. It's an Iron!

Vincent walks along, happy to let his companions lead the way so far. He almost gets distracted by something shiny, but holds himself back from going for it. He doesn't want the team to end up fighting things without him again.

The group enters another of the side caverns on level 2 of Rock Tunnel. Nothing seems to be happening at first, then Vel suddenly rushes towards a pool of water in the back. He suddenly dives aside as a spurt of water passes through the spot his head was just at. A small swarm of blue, mollusk-like Pokemon burst out of the water and line up in front of the pool, as if protecting it. Seems Machiavelli accidentally angered these things.
Begin fight!

After moving on from the dragon encounter, the party enters the next area. As the various light sources illuminate the room, they see what looks to be a bigger-than-normal Sableye crouched down on all fours. It hisses as the light chases away the darkness, then quickly darts through a tiny hole in the wall to escape.

Vincent's eyes had widened when they fell upon the relatively huge Sableye. As Floyd asks a question it's a grin that widens. "Let's do that," Vincent says, a predatory look on his face.

Heading over to the hole you saw it disappear into and shining a light within, you find... nothing. The odd-looking Sableye seems to have vanished in the time it took you to walk over to it. Then again, it is a Ghost-type, so it could also have just as easily turned completely invisible. Either way, the hole is far too small for a human to fit into, so you aren't getting at it this way. Maybe you'll bump into it again later.

Kaeda catches a glimpse of Vincent's mania, and this reassures her that she isn't the only one with excitable tendencies for rare pokemon. Having no luck finding it here, she resolves to move deeper into the tunnels.

As you enter into another small room, you spot a tunnel on the other side heading down. This level seems to have been relatively clear of trouble, but then again, maybe you were just lucky. Camped off to the side, you see a couple of Pokemon Rangers going through their supplies. One of them notices you and alerts the others. They wave you over.
Ranger #1: "Hello there, what brings you three down this far?"
Ranger #2 notices your party seems beaten up a bit and asks if you are in need of medical attention.

Kaeda perks up at seeing the rangers, and makes her way over. "Hello there. We just happen to be three young adventurers exploring the depths of the Rock Tunnel." She looks towards her comrades, and nods at there rather rough appearances. "We do have seem to have met some harsh resistance. I know two of my pokemon are are in rough shape. How about you guys?" She looks at Vincent and Floyd.

"Why are you down here? I was led to believe the lower levels would be largely deserted." He asks the rangers

Ranger #3: "We're down here because it's our job to be here. Every year we drop by to make sure everything is running smoothly and to record any new or additional species of Pokemon (and their behavior) that have arrived since. It's a long trek down into the lowest levels of Rock Tunnel and harder still coming back up the sheer drop off at the end of that tunnel over there."
He motions at the tunnel on the far side.
Ranger #3: "So that's why we're camped here. We just got back up and are taking our time to rest before making our way back to the surface."
Ranger #2 offers the use of some of their medical supplies for any injured party members, and gives everyone a free Hyper Potion.

"We did run into something unusual. A giant crawling Sableye." He says to the rangers.

The rangers look at one another.
Ranger #1: "I've never heard of something like that. Sableye are known to crawl on all fours at times, but you say this was a giant one?"
Ranger #2: "Perhaps it was simply a really old and powerful Sableye? Pokemon tend to get bigger as they get older."
Ranger #1: "That sounds plausible. Was that what you saw, do you think?"

"It was defiantly larger than normal. It also had markings on its' hands and face, and large spines from its' back. Also red jewels on its' hands and face too."
