It's just as well, I thought of a way to justify barging in on that encounter. How do I barge in? Do I post in your wild thread, or do we move it into group battles?

Good question. Not sure. I'll let the GM make that call.

Going to bed for the night but now what? Should I wait for the Bidoof to act before I do anything in response to being attacked?

In my experience, talking is a free action, and I'd imagine Max would have some choice words for the lady that walked up and slapped her in the face (unless the lecture hit a sore spot, of course)

Hey guys, just a quick thought. Kyo wants all the grass types, and we get to customize pokemon as we catch them, so we could probably just make every grass type we catch female. I'm thinking of taking breeder as my bonus edge next level, and Greeny is male, so we could just have them do their do and give Kyo an egg of every grass type caught and finnagled this way. Just a thought

Just don't forget about the egg groups. Bulbasaur is monster and grass. He may not be compatible with every other grass type. That's what ditto is for.

Pimping is such a strong word. I prefer speed dating

Unless Gengar wants to learn how to get that pollenation going himself, consider Operation: Speed Dating cancelled. JoJo's going to have to learn how to medicine

So what do we know about the gym leaders? Are they the same? Who leads Viridian?

A woman named Mei-Ling Psalms is Leader of Viridian. In keeping with previous leaders, she's not often there. Thankfully, it's not hard to find where she is, as she tends to cheer at sports games with her squad (who double as the gym trainers). Her older sister is also a Gym Leader, Changse-Lan of Vermilion.
Gym challenge order is still the same though, with Saffron and Fuschia being interchangeable. Keep in mind for those wishing to attempt the "Advanced" challenge, all Gym Leaders have at least one Elementalist class based on their type.
The Gym Leaders (In order) stand thusly:
Pewter Gym - Leader: Nekura Massani. Theme: Desert Sands (Ground-Type) Cerulean Gym - Leader: Aleisandra Andario. Theme: Ocean Tides (Water) Vermilion Gym - Leader: Changse-Lan Morino. Theme: Thunderstorms. (Electric) Celadon Gym - Leader: Nalkeya Strovassi. Theme: NO BUGS! (Grass/Poison) Fuchsia Gym - Leader: Anastasia Strovassi. Theme: Frozen Mountaintop. (Ice) Saffron Gym - Leader: Satori Minori. Theme: Inner Strength. (Fighting) Cinnabar Gym - Leader: Ashandra (no known last name). Theme: The Raw Power of Fire. (Fire, duh!) Viridian Gym - Leader: Mei-Ling Psalms. Theme: You can do it! The power of cheers. (Cheerleader Gym - Various Types)

If Max can find Kyo, he'll wait until the fella is done with his wild encounter and then see about healing up in Pallet before returning to the Route for more wilds.
What happened to all of the original Kanto Gym Leaders?

Most of the original Kanto leaders were old. Decided to retire after Lilith took power and changed a lot of rules. Only one who wasn't that old would probably have been Janine. Anastasia is a friend of hers, so they made some sort of arrangement.

If I release a pokemon, do I get the pokeball I used to catch it with back?

I'm going to say "yes". So long as you don't say that you break it to release the pokemon.

Omg I just had the best idea. If, somehow JoJo dies, I'm going to make N 2.0 who, instead of ising grunts that battle with pokemon, use martial arts to incapacitate trainers then take their pokemon and then release them into the nearest appropriate habitats.

Also, when I get the means to use my dowsing rod, may I use shards as scrap? Like, if I flavor a fashion accessory as jewelry, or use shards to make the lenses on go-goggles or safety goggles?

But what will that character do when he ends up with Pokémon that actually liked their Trainer and liked being owned by that person? What if the "liberated" Pokémon are pissed at N 2.0 for doing that and decide to attack? What about the ever-growing police investigation that would follow N 2.0 around for assaulting Trainers and robbing them of their Pokémon?

First let me preface this with the fact that 2.N probably won't ever actually happen because dying takes a concerted effort on the part of the player and attempting to get a character killed off is just stupid and dumb and stupid
However, 2.N's M.O. is pro-choice on the part of the pokemon. If immediately after being released from whatever programming he assumes the pokeball does to it, the pokemon is still team "asshole who threw a shiny thing" at me, then he and his grunts would just flee and let the mon make its way back to the trainer (maybe leave a map for it?)
As for police intervention, that's just sort of an occupational hazard when your plan involves the phrase "start a criminal organization", but by the time a PC has the money to throw that together, he'd probably have the means for some contingency planning
