Your family and you are sitting watching television when your normal program is interrupted by an announcement. A woman in her mid forties appears on the screen and she has a bright smile on her face. She is wearing a dark green gown and a leafeon is sitting at her side rubbing its head against the hand rubbing its head.
"Hello, everyone some of you may already know me but for those of you that do not, my name is Marylynn and I am the head of the Tudor Island Tournament. This is an event that happens once in a decade. We invite young new trainers to come and join this event so that they may become better trainers, meet new people, and get some experience with pokemon before heading out into the world to gym run or contests with more experienced trainers. Contestants will be staying on Tudor Island for a year training, doing missions, battling with other contestants, and simply enjoying themselves. At the end of the year the actual tournament shall commence for both poke-battling and contests.”
The older lady pauses for a moment catching her breath before continuing on, “All young trainers preparing for a journey are welcome to join us for this wonderful event. Sign up are starting right now at the website listed bellow. The winners of the tournament(poke battle and contest) shall each receive an egg as well as 15,000 poke as their reward. Second place shall receive 10,000 poke and an evolution stone of their choice. Third place shall get 8,000 poke. We of the Tudor Island Tournament await your arrival. Please have a good day.”
The screen goes black before returning back to the original show.
I am looking for four players willing to try this out. I am willing to take more people if anyone is willing to help with Gming this campaign. Will discuss co-gm duties with the people volunteering to help. This will have a story line to it so do not worry about it being purely a tournament style campaign.
Trainers will be level 3. The books allowed are of course the core rule, the may and September play test packets, marksman, skirmisher, beserker, and fortress. Do not take the classes sage or warper please. The February Playtest Packet is also up for grabs. Pokemon will be a starter from a region, Pikachu, Ralts, Shinx, Oddish, Eevee, Horsea, Zubat, Noibat, or Swablu at level 10 with an egg move. 8,000 poke for starting money.
Those interested in helping with the campaign please message me here on the forum. Even if you just want help with making side quests or characters for the tournament that is fine with me. The acceptance of applications will stop Friday March 25.
