Kyria sighs and points to the south-west passage, "I came from that way, when i was freed i found numel trapped in vines and freed him, fought a weird flashy pokemon and ate a surskit... then some mysterious power thing stole the surskit away from me, thats how we got here" she sniffs the air again, "Virgil is over there though, we should go find him as soon as we can."
Kyria's jaws continue to be patted and rubbed carefully, as if she's trying to find exactly where her injuries lie.

Fennekin, who had slid to a bit of a halt when it became apparent that the fight was over, speaks up. "You said you were looking for a Joltik, right?" she asks. "From what I understand, the more people you're trying to synchronise with, the more likely you all are to get put all over the place. So if we all follow onto the Joltik's signal, most of us should end up in the same place. Simisear kept a Rollcall Orb for when this happened, but..." she looks to the stairs. "I didn't want to believe he'd abandoned us, but..." She pulls out her own Exploration Gadget again, on which are the two same signals that you had previously seen. This obviously means something to her.
"Mind the thing with lots of leaves," Numel says, without any apparent provocation, looking across fom where he'd been watching Melanie tend to the Chimchar.

Kyria walks over to the Fennekin, "what do you suggest we do? We can advance as a group, or do we form separate groups and continue. Either way I will not leave without my friend. We should figure out how we will continue, group-wise, before we advance though." Kyria's jaws snap, "It does look like he abandoned you though... I'm still hungry" Kyria's stomach protests with her whining over food.

Melanie is only half paying attention to the conversation about what to do next - feeding an unconscious Pokémon is harder than it looks. She does look a little startled when Mawile starts talking out of her big jaws as well as the rest of her face, but then, she hasn't met many Mawile before now. Maybe that's normal. "If he's such a great explorer, I'm sure he's fine." She sounds deeply skeptical about the "great explorer" part. "Let's just stick together if we can. If we have to collect everyone on every floor this is going to be a pain."
She sits bolt upright when Numel comes out with a warning, apparently out of nowhere. "What do you mean, the thing with all the leaves? Is that Turtwig coming back?" Not that she thinks the whole group is going to have any trouble with one Turtwig... then again, Turtwig only have one leaf apiece.

Fennekin jumps slightly at being addressed by Kyria. "I'm sticking with you guys," she replies after a moment. "With all these ferals around, sticking together seems a pretty good idea. Especially since you look a bit beat up. No offence," she adds hastily.

"Sticking together if is the best thing we can do, but I won't go ahead without Virgil." Kyria looks off in the direction of the scent again. "I'm going to go find him, if someone else wants to go they can, but most you should stay here, secure the stairs and help chimchar."
Kyria starts to follow the scent again, only to find Virgil right in front of her, "Oh. That makes that easy. Hiya!" Kyria rushes over to him, excitedly, she was glad he is okay.

"Hm? Some sort of trap...?" Melanie rubs at her eyes. Normally her nearsightedness doesn't bother her too much, day to day, but she always wishes she had better eyes in Mystery Dungeons. "Anyone else see it?"
How they're going to handle the lot of them sticking together, she's not sure, not after what Fennekin said about trying to sync to large groups, but safety in numbers seems like a good idea. "We ran into... what, ten ferals up on the first floor? More than I've seen in my life up to now. There's something going on in this place."

I assume we all got separated because the group we were joining got split with the three you see here all being in different places" Kyria turns back to Virgil, "Im so glad you're okay! This place hasnt been very nice to us lately"

Virgil stands aghast how could Simisear have left his teammates like that? It wasn't very Explorer-ish at all! He's still a little fuzzy on why they were split up but it was a good enough explanation for now. "I know! I ran into a feral and walked in circles and get smacked by a log! This whole expedition is getting a little crazy..." He stops to think for a moment, "Oh! But I did find some shards." He pulls one out for Kyria's inspection.

"Was your log down a dead end, too?" Melanie gets up and dusts herself off, having done as much as she thinks she can for Chimchar. "I managed to spot one of those before walking into it, for once."
She sighs and shakes her head. "We can discuss Simisear being a jerk later. How are we going to deal with going downstairs if a big group like us keeps getting split up?" Sounds like they made the right choice not letting the other Cubone come along.

"We should head on though, or leave. We never did find the Joltik though, and i dont think Simisear is going to wait up for us, what do you think we should do?" Kyria looks from Virgil, to Lewis, to Melanie, then to the fire types.

"We shouldn't get split up again," the Fennekin explains. "If we just keep going we almost certainly won't, and even if we join up with your Joltik, or Simisear -" she says the latter rather reluctantly "- there are enough of us that we should end up mostly together. Though if Joltik is on an earlier floor than us it does increase the risk a bit," she admits. "On the topic of heading on, though, I heard that almost every floor on a Dungeon has a secret somewhere. Did any of you find it? If not, maybe we could go looking for it, now we're all together?"
And in typical belated style, the Numel finally replies to Melanie's question of a few minutes ago. "I don't see it, no."

Kyria looks over at the firefox, before nodding, "Well, we're here, and i don't mind looking around a bit if others want to, lets just not get too in over our heads. Maybe we'll encounter the joltik while we look, can we even check what floor its on?"Kyria checks her explorers gadget, maybe she can find out exactly how many floors are in this dungeon through it, and where the joltik is. She never looked too into what the gadget could do, might as well now that its important and they're idle.
Kyria tries to find out exactly what the gadget is capable of, and the specs of the dungeon, if possible where franzeska is.
