"If that means I don't need to get into the fray too much, I'm okay with that." Matt said, moving up beside Lucas and walking alongside him. "If my other readings work out, I believe I'd also be the healer, I guess?" Matthieu's head was still spinning with these new revelations, he hoped to get back into this town with this man and find a pen and paper to note this stuff down! First Wyck, and then this rabbit kind of Pokemon.. beast... He needed a name for it, and decided that Stross would be a good name for some reason.

They once again returned to the road, and followed it in other direction. After some time the forest on both sides of the road thinned opening up to the valley. Here, on left shore of the river, lies a small village with a fortress in the center. Fortress was small, and looked a little uncared except the residential part where you could see light in the windows and smoke from the chimney. The whole was surrounded by a short uneven ledge which indicated that somewhere in the past this complex was bigger or had at least ramparts and a tower.
Rest of the village consisted of low, wooden houses with stone foundation, and small outbuildings - mostly sheds. What immediately stands out were that almost every second house was dark inside, cold and looked abandoned some time ago. Still there were peoples there. Near the main road children was throwing snowballs at each other, from one of the sheds was coming the rhythmic clink of metal on metal, some of passer-by were carrying baskets or carts with wood or coal. There were pokemons too. Few residents were accompanied by medium sized dog-like pokemons with fur thick and long enough to completely cover this pokemon eyes. This Beast were seen pulling carts or carrying large backpacks. "Wellcome to Rockreeck" Said your guide and headed toward the fort.

Sibylla took in the sight of Rockreeck, smiling at the children's playing with snowballs and cute Herdier like Beasts running around. She took notice of the abandoned houses and mentally wondered if it was due to the 'curse' extending the winter period.
Trudging after the man, Sibylla realized that they never got the man's name. "Excuse me, Mr..." Sibylla pause until she was given a name before continue. "We won't take anymore of your time. But can you point us to who we should talk to for a place to stay?"

"Oh, right. I never introduced myself. I am Gaillard, nice to meet you." After the next question He thought for a moment. "Well, we do not have an inn. There are a lot of abandoned houses, but inside is so cold that heated it up to will take several days. But you can stay in the fort if you want."

"A fort.. sounds reasonable if they'll take us, we don't exactly have any money.." he thought for a moment, "Or at least, I don't." He briefly considered even if he had money, that British Pounds were not the same legal tender here. He eyed the dogs pulling carts and marvelled,

"Well, actually I live there. My workshop is there, but I don't own the building. It is more like a public property. Long ago there were soldiers here, when these areas were more wild with bandits and beasts. But it got safer and more civilized, and the mine lost it's strategic importance, so soldiers left and much of the fort was disassembled for building materials."

Lucas gazed upon the settlement in awe, it reminded him of something out of a fantasy movie. Trudging through the snow he began to feel the pain of his injuries in the recent fights. "Yeah, guys i dont care where we end up i just want a roof and a place to lay down, i ache." he glanced over at Matt briefly "Imma need some armour if im gonna be the fighter eh Matt, then again, some healer you are hahah.." his laugh slipped into a wince as he grabbed his rib where he was hurt from the Ice bunnies.

Sibylla nods at Lucas' but looked concerned when he winced in pain, "Mmm, since this place use to be a fortress housing soldiers there might be some armor we can buy. Although we might have to do so Favours in exchange for some money. I heard something too so there might be a blacksmith here as well."
Turning to Gailiard Sibylla held out a hand. "Please, lead the way."

"I mean eventually, I'm still getting the hang of the stuff I know works, let me get a little experience first." Matt said, winking at Lucas. He took a look at Wyck beside him, the little things apparently packed a hell of a punch. Looking into healing magic might not actually be a bad idea in this world... He continued following the group, ready for a bit of rest.

You went after Gaillard to the fort. Residential area were dry and warm. Wall here has been made from stone bricks and painted in white, when floor and ceiling were wooden. Local aroma were mix of herbs, old wood, reagents and slight amount of smoke. This part of the fort consisted of two large rooms (probably old barracks) and kitchen that was adapted as alchemy laboratory. In first room you could see bookshelves, bunches of herbs hanging from the ceiling, small table in center with lots of papers on it. "We are here and we have the herb!" Gaillard shouted. "We?" You heard a womans voice from second room. "Did you return with Abner?" A middle-aged, brown skinned woman came into the room. She was short but robust, wearing simple, brown dress and grayish apron. She looked "oh..." She gasped realizing that her assumption was wrong. "Who are those strangers?" She asked. "I see you brought not only a herb, but rest of the Ferfox as well." In the tone of her voice could feel the gentle reproach. "Well, Zorica, we waked up this beast. It could not survive rest of the winter." explained Gaillard, then took off his jacket, folded it, put in the corner of a room and then put unconscious Ferfox on top of this. "Are you beast master now?" Zorica rolled her eyes. "No, but those travelers are. They help me to find Ferfox. I could not succeed without their help." She looked at you one more time and her expression softened. "Oh, alright. You are probably hungry and chilled to the bone. I managed to made some soup..." The woman give Gaillard a meaningful look. "In spite of all this stuff lying in the kitchen. But I was not prepare for four additional guests." "Well, I pass my midday meal. I need to prepare medicine, no time to eat." Behind first room was a kitchen... sort of. It was intended to be a kitchen, but now, instead of pottery, on shelves were alchemical instruments, jars with colorful powder in it, jars with liquids or jars filled with roots and leaves. A large portion of the furnace was occupied by a system of tubes and vessels, apparently in the middle of distillation. There was only one pot and a negligible amount of cutlery and plates. From the original decor remain only large table and set of wooden chairs. Gaillard almost immediately went to his alchemical tools and started working on a cure. Last room were connected with kitchen. It contained two rows of bunk beds and some wardrobes in the back. One of bunks was occupied by a sleeping brown skinned boy with short, dark hairs.

Sibylla looked around the room in mild wonder as Gailiard and Zorica exchanged. The old tools used for something so modern in here world was an interesting sight and the world began to feel even more fantastical than it was before.
At the mention of beast masters and food, Sibylla nod her head in greeting to Zorica. "Sorry for the intrusion, we've were a bit lost before running into Gailiard and decided to help. My name is Sibylla, this is Lucas, Taylor, and Mattiue. Since we didn't know the area, we were hoping we could rest here in Rockreed."

"We have a lot of beds"Zorica pointed at second room. "More place to live than people actually. If not for mine, this place would became a ghost town like many other. We still have foreing merchant willing to buy our coal and send us food instead. But why are you here?"

"We're travelers from a far away land. Circumstances unknown to us brought us to your mountain. Right now we just want to rest and figure out what to do from here." Everything Sibylla said was true without going into detail. Then as if to changed the subject Sibylla gestured toward the busy Galliard. "By the way you've, mention a person name Aden earlier. Is that who the medicine is for?"

"Oh, no." Gaillard response. "Medicine is for Matij." He wave his hand in the direction of sleeping room. Zorica had laid dishes on the table and began to serve pottage. It was made from veggies unknown to you, but smelled edible. "Matij is my son. He fell into a river and get height fever. Aden is the only priest in Rockreek." When you startet to take of a jacked, the woman looked at your green robes. "Oh, sorry. I didn't realise that you were piriests to. Are you here to meet Aden? He is not here. He went up to the moutains a few days ago and has not returned yet."

Sibylla made a little O face, when Zorica spoke of Aden and their clothes. There was only one other person that Sibylla knew of that wore the same clothes and the location of where he was last seen going to and how he was able to summon the four of them because he is a priest made sense. As Sibylla finished taking off her jacket she laid the jacket over a seat and sat on it at the table. "Actually, it was most likely Aden who summoned us here."
Sibylla waited until everyone involved had taken a seat before continuing. "But I am sorry to say that it costed him his life to do so."
Sibylla bowed her head at the couple lost and then bag an to eat the pottage into the of her with a thankful nod. Sibylla didn't usually eat much but with all the excitement that happened today a unusual hunger made Sibylla busy eating her food for most of the meal.

"He summoned you?" Zorica was surprised. "From a far away land? Why? What do you mean it costed him his life?"

"Lets be honest here.." Lucas began, moving int the conversation and taking a seat himself, "we all came from various places far from here and the worst part is we woke up this morning knowing nothing of this place." Lucas Bowed his head, his mind returning back to that panic filled time at the temple, "We all awoke this morning with nothing but the clothes and supplies you see we have and the one thing that will stay with me was the sight of a man in the same robes lying on the floor. We cant say for sure that the man your speaking of and the man we found are one and the same but odds are.." he paused for a moment looking to each of the people in the room "im sorry..."
As he grew silent he grew awkward and lifted his head to speak, he would have probably attempted to break the tension of the situation but he stopped short of saying anything and bowed his head once more. Even he knew that this was no time for jokes.

The woman looked at you and whispered only "No... ". She was more sad than shocked. "All that magic stuff. I knew that it will backfire at him one day, but not like this. If you excuse me. I need to tell others." Zorica nodded slightly and left the house.
"Well, that is sad." Gaillard added, when still working on a medicine. "Do you can think of any reason why he summon you? He has to have some plan. Last time I saw him, Aden worked on lifting this "curse". But I have no idea how summoning you could help with that. Are you some kind o experts or something?"

"Experts, no, but potentially the right people for the job," Matt butted in, interested by the mention of spells, "Magics such as this seem to have a round about way of doing things, and especially powerful magic might do what it thinks its best compared to the casters wishes, it is possible we've been chosen, but we need more information." He looked around, searching for a table as he continued, "It's possibly the curse, maybe more or less, I think a good start would be if you could supply us with a map and also information on where there are similar temples, ones we might be able to go and talk to."

"Well as far I know, there are no similar temples. You must understood that Laton is a lesser god he rarely has a shrines of his own, not to mention temples. Generally he share his space and shrine with other small god in a greater temple. Aden was not a priest of Laton itself, but of all lesser gods. He take... took care of this old temple, because no one else would care enough."
