This is quite obviously our roll thread, when rolling for your actions be sure not to just roll a number, but add what it is for, this can be as simple as;
"I am rolling to attack the Pikachu (insert roll to hit and roll for damage.)" Then you can tailor your post accordingly. It's usually a good idea to have in mind what you want to do before you start rolling.
There is a roll button on the post that lets you select a dice rolling between numbers, currently it defaults at 1-6.
I believe there's the ability to type (roll=1d20) with square brackets to appear. Pick Up also has its own thing which I believe is (pickup)(roll=1d20)
Editing in this thread is not allowed.
These are some test rolls to make sure I know what I'm doing myself.

And in case the Gillmen are speaking their own language, a Gen Ed roll to understand/get the gist of what they're saying. Not sure how many Gillmen would've been found in the northern mixing pot city she trained in; I'm guessing they probably didn't go too far north, though, since water freezes. They do have a Walren, though, so maybe.
