Walking around, it seems like Faith and Shane are both in the mess hall. It would probably be good to get some food on the road anyways.

"But... sure," Faith says, shrugging. "I've always wanted to get around there. Never really had the chance. They say it was home at one time to a tribe of those who worshiped the dragons. But they've all rather dispersed and interbred around the region. Sootopolis of all places apparently has a fairly high proportion of descendants. Wonder if they feel at home surrounded by all that rock?"

"Dragons traditionally live in high rocky places, it probably helps them feel closer to what they revere.". Parish offered, before fetching his own breakfast. Shane made sense, if scavenging for food was a regular occurrence on missions it would be smart to make sure you are well whole home. Parish settled in to eat.

"Oh, not anything we're at liberty to talk about," Rebecca says, apologetically.
"...though if you hang around the Captain enough, he'll probably blurt it out," Faith adds.
"Yeah, that's fair enough," Rebecca admits.

"Having a hard time figuring out something.". His brow furrowed as he kept walking at a leisurely pace. "If all of me is weird, why do some people call it unique, or new, and seem happy about it... And others say it is strange like they are spitting. Which parts are the good parts? What am I supposed to value?". He wraps his arms around himself.
"I've been thinking about it for days. The Captain doesn't comment till he sees what is going to happen. You get excited about the ideas I have that you don't entirely get. Mason and some of the people back home are... Very negative."

Like how Faith says things that people can get upset at, and lets them get upset if they want to without claiming responsibility for it?". He asked uncertainly, finally stopping his forward momentum.

Sometimes what seems innocuous can really hurt someone because of something in their past. Sometimes it just... isn't their fault how they feel. And there's no good rule for exactly what and when that is. You just have to use your best judgement. And that's hard sometimes."
"I... don't know if Faith is the best role model for this, either," she adds. "She... does not always mince words, and sometimes says things regardless of if they hurt people. Putting all the blame on another if they get hurt is... liable to get nobody to want to be around you anymore. Because eventually you hurt everyone, and drive them away by not caring."

"Oh... People are hard.". Parish summed it up with a frown. "Pokemon are a lot easier to deal with. Actions mean more than words, and usually they are content just being. Except Falling Star. He wants to be breaking things down, and in charge of a territory. There aren't any good ones around Mossdeep though. I think he misses trees. Even being my hardest Pokemon to get along with though,his needs aren't... That hard to figure out. What he wants, the things that upset him."
