Ophelia gives Thel a skeptical look and rises, furling a hand against her middle and offering a slight bow. Lurantis put it's arms together and returned the gesture more deeply, the teen looking surprised at the sincerity of the gesture.
Ophelia watched and waited. A little at a time, the Pokemon approached, until it was again in contact with her. She tried to touch it again with similar results.
On the third attempt, the human made similar small movements where Lurantis could see them, and contacted the plant about the time it reached her. Her face split into a genuine smile.

"...Thanks Thel. You're alright.". Ophelia didn't really look up from the Pokemon in the gentlest of holds. Lurantis leaned in flush with her and became still. "Maybe... I can try again. With someone I made great on my own... What do you think?". She asked the plant, who cooed softly in response.

He gives another bow, before putting the Lurantis' ball with Ophelia's things, and prepares to head out to the Center.

The rain pounded away as it did the whole way to the center. The overcast day seemed less sinister then before, after the events of the afternoon. Joy greeted Thel with her usual aplomb.
"Welcome in Thel, just coming to have a rest, maybe a quick snack?"

For once, Thel doesn't really dwell on the rain being potentially apocalyptic. It's always a cloud hanging overhead... but he's able to push past that.
"A little snack might be good," he admits, "but, no, that's not why I came in. Ended up in a bit of a serious tussle with a Pokémon causing some trouble, and so two of my Pokémon need some healing. Didn't want to wait until the end of the day for that, they deserve better."
"...oh, and I guess a quick question, where would be the best place to restock up on medicine? I realized I didn't have anything to deal with poison or anything in the middle of fighting. That was... an uncomfortable realization. Haven't picked up anything since the start of my journey." He's a bit sheepish.

"You want the PokeMart, it is the building with the blue roof in most towns, when it isn't located directly in the Center itself.". She takes Thel's Pokemon from him. "They are in good hands, and should be back to full strength in a few hours. Thank you for being responsible, it is always refreshing."

"Thank you," he says, with a nod and a smile. "It's always a weight off my shoulders to know that they're here and will be well cared for. I'll see you again soon to pick them up." He grabs a quick snack from the food room before heading back out.
With his Pokémon cared for, Ophelia and Lurantis acquainted with each other, some food and rest in his system, and reassurance that he was just overreacting before, he feels much, much better, and heads back towards the kitchen.

With the days activities mostly behind now, Jesse is alone in the kitchen. "Hey Thel, you feeling any better? Sorry for chasing you out earlier, but you really looked like you could use some time to yourself.". Some sweets are cooling on the counter nearby, and she pulls up a stool to give him her full attention.

"Also... whenever you're clear, I don't know if we could try out making the stuff for Friday? I just... want to try and get a feel for it as early as I can." There's also going to be the food for Mable, but that's later on. Certainly wouldn't do to make it now and let it get cold.

Then again, most of them didn't expect to be doing this here in the first place.". Jesse laughed over dishes. Knowing that it is you that has to make those decisions for yourself is one of the most important lessons you can master growing up.". More scrubbing and some idle humming.

She puts the last of the dishes away, and Thel finished his sweeping. They did a few trial runs of the recipe and had leftovers away for later. Mostly it was spice concentrations Thel needed to work on. The technique was just more active compared to what he was used to.
