"Oh, Bliss..." she breathes. The plant really isn't looking very good right now, even as she perseveres. Thel knows that she's wanting to prove herself after what happened last time, though. So, instead of fretting, she instead concentrates on what Essentia'd said. On how to work with what the suit can do... and unleashes a torrent of poison, similar to Diva's, over the owl and hopefully reaching the flower ring. With the last of her strength for the moment, pushing through, Bliss focuses her rage and fury into the foes before her, Trying to at least take one down with her. 19 vs AC for Sludge Wave, for 56 special Poison Damage and Poisoned. Vs. Decidueye, and possibly Comfey, too, if it's within where the AOE could be.
Assuming that's enough to fell Decidueye, Bliss uses Stomp on Comfey. 16 vs AC 2 for 48 Physical Normal damage, +10 if Diva'd chosen Defiance, and Flinch. If Decidueye's still up, Zen Headbutt instead, for 38 Physical Psychic (+10 if Defiance), and Flinch.
Bliss then Faints.

The burst of poison and added physical power from Bliss manages to put a stop to both the plant owl and the floral fairy. As Bliss faints, she clings to Thel's leg, remaining upright in a protective posture despite being unable to go on.
The greenhouse gives way to silence once more, save the hammering of the rain and a distant, echoing chuckle.

As silence falls, Thel runs suited fingers through Bliss' petals. "It'll be okay," she says. "You can rest now. You worked hard." She recalls the Tsareena, resolving to get her to a Center as soon as she can.
"Is that everything, Diva?" she calls out. "I guess I should have expected you to run off. That's all any of you are good at."

She shrugs, before making her way towards where the voice was coming from, her approach surprisingly silent and hard to see for something human-sized in a greenhouse.

A sharp pain in Thel's foot, and a heat slides into his veins, making him lightheaded and nauseous. Thel is Badly Poisoned by Toxic Spikes. "You've been away from the nest too long if you expect a straight fight with someone claiming to be a predator. The weak only fight from a position of advantage. I'm all too happy to bait you along until you surrender."
(Thel may make a Perception Check.)

Well. That was careless of her. Diva's right, she should have remembered. But didn't. She's going to have to act fast. Already memories of pain are coming back... but this cannot be the end. If she doesn't push herself, she should be fine, until the poison works its way out of her system - but fighting is certainly pushing herself. She doesn't expect that she'll last more than a minute at that rate. "Out of my way..." she says to the plant before her, some more urgency in her voice. Another gesture, as she'd been informed before, and a gout of flames enveloped the plant. Taking a moment, she releases Serenity in a place beyond where all the poisoned spikes likely are. "Serenity, please, we need to take care of this quickly," she says, looking at the fox. "Also, mind your step, probably."There is perhaps some confusion on the fox's face, but she joins in the existing fire with a stream of her own nonetheless. Thel uses Heat Wave. 12 vs AC 4, for 54 Special Fire damage. Takes 5 damage from poison.
Serenity uses Flamethrower. 7 vs AC 2, for 49 Special Fire damage. |

With a shriek the plant bolts from its cover moving to an area with active sprinklers and settling to rest, apparently back in control of its own facilities once more. A sudden movement of pink and white catches Thel's attention to the other side. "Terribly unsporting of you Thel."
A pink, mantis like Pokemon, with white frills and large eyes freezes on being noticed. Unlike the others, it doesn't seem hostile. There is an air of uncertainty about it, and it doesn't move while he is watching it.

"Ah, yes. Because we all know you are the most sporting," Thel calls back. She's a little surprised to note that it doesn't seem like this current Pokémon really belongs. Well, it does belong with the other plants (which was a nasty surprise in discovering as a Salandit), even if it doesn't look like it. But she can tell from the size and stuff that the not-bug in front of her is a female, and so likely not in the same mind (or lack thereof) as the others.
She gives it the smallest of nods in acknowledgement, and instead moves on towards the back of the greenhouse. Searching for Diva, and seeing if this other plant, too, has any malicious intent. Or at least intent to block her path.

It does indeed posture to greater alertness as Thel moves to the edge of the brush, bulbous floral head gauging where he hides from several angles. The plant-bug moves nearer Thel in short bursts. There is a soft chime net his ear. "Disabling Filters."
A fresh, pleasant floral scent fills the boy's lungs, with spicy undertones. It clears the heat from his veins and the fogginess from his mind.
"SO THATS THE WAY OF IT! BETRAYER!"
Diva hissed, incensed, causing the grass Pokemon to huddle in on itself in fear.
(You have a surprise round, and are cured of poison in which to act to protect the Lurantis or go on the offensive. Both Diva and her final guard are visible.)

"Let's try and make sure our friend doesn't get hurt, okay girl?"Feeling much more confident without the fire running through her veins, she moves up towards Diva, sliding in to strike, and hopefully distract her from retaliating against the bug. It's terrifying to be this close, but her doing this to protect someone else... it drives her. She can push past it. She has to end this here. Serenity unleashes a powerful psychic blast, angry and empowered, striking at the Salazzle, even as the remaining energy provides a bit of a shield around herself. Thel uses Feint Attack on Diva, consuming Spicy Wrap. Auto-hit, for 59 Physical Dark damage.
Serenity uses Extrasensory on Diva, consuming a Dry Wafer. 14 vs AC 2, for 60 Special Psychic damage. Thel spends 2 AP to give her another Dry Wafer and 12 Temp HP.

Diva hisses and exhales a gout of mist the length of Thel's torso and across his face. Essentia buzzes and warns about the atmosphere being corrosive, even as the chemical heat starts to burn him through the suit. The remaining flower pokemon fires off a wave of sharpened stones at Serenity. (44 Acid Special to Thel, lowering SpDef two stages, 49 Rock Physical to Serenity)

More pain, both physical and emotional. Reminders of failure, of stepping out of line. But... no, she's not failing this time. She will push through this. Because it's more than just her now. "Oh, is that all you have?" Thel asks. "I've hurt myself more cooking." That's a bit of a lie, though there have been some unfortunate mishaps with spices. Those hurt. But, as much as she hates it, she'd prefer Diva's attention on her. Serenity's psychic energy needs a moment to recharge, so she instead changes target to the flower that careened rocks into her. Thel follows her lead, sliding a step away from Diva with a flourish, before unleashing a twirling tornado of flames at the last guardian. Thel Disengages and uses Fiery Dance. 15 vs AC 2, for 52 Special Fire damage.
Serenity uses Flamethrower. 10 vs AC 2, for 58 Special Fire damage. 12 Temp HP from Thel's Feature.

"You weren't so mouthy before you got that suit. Let's see how you fare without it.". Diva again doused Thel in her corrosion (45 Poison Special and SpDef lowered two more CS.). Her plant companion seems possessed of an unnatural vitality and continues despite how readily it burns. More rocks pummel Serenity (37 Rock Special)

Serenity is battered and beaten but still presses on, even as she gets injured. She unleashes yet another psionic burst at Diva, doing all she can. Thel is... starting to not do so great. She can definitely feel the burning, and a few moments of wavering consciousness. "It helps when I don't need to smell your stench," she says, moving back in to strike. "But, you also made a mistake. I'm not fighting for just me."
Thel uses Feint Attack on Diva. Auto-hit, for 48 Physical Dark Damage.
Serenity uses Extrasensory on Diva. 10 vs AC 2, for 52 Special Psychic. 12 Temp HP from Thel's AP. |

Diva bolted for the wall of the greenhouse (provoking as normal), and torched a hole in it with acrid fire, scurrying into the wet night. The remaining plant continues to bludgeon Serenity despite Diva's absence (48 rock physical.)

You just have to lower everyone around you."
"And if you attempt to hurt anyone I care about again, I am going to take you, and I will cast you into the ocean. Because isn't that what you said? Your obsession with me is just passing fancy, and you'll just get thrown away. And I expect you'll hate the roiling surf even more than I do. Better learn to swim."With Diva having retreated, it's time to deal with the last one of the plants she's enthralled. Thel moves forwards, delivering a burning kick, hoping to shock it enough to douse off with its friend. "Sorry about this. It's for your own good." If that's not enough, Serenity, though only barely holding on, unleashes a torrent of fire. Hopefully it's enough. AoO: 10 vs AC 4, for 43 Physical Normal damage.
Thel uses Blaze Kick. 15 vs AC 3, for 47 physical Fire Damage.
Serenity uses Flamethrower. 18 vs AC 2, for 53 Special fire damage and Burn.

There is a hiss from Diva and a burning along Thel's knuckles, blood bubbling across them. The impact had been solid and he had felt the give of her soft skin under his fist. The remaining plant sagged under the final burst of heat, leaving the odd not-bug to slowly approach the pair with a questioning chirr.

The descent into silence causes the adrenaline to recede, and Thel to begins to calm down, shaking some. Inhale. Exhale.
She crouches down towards Serenity, petting the fox with her hand that doesn't have blood on it. "Thank you, girl. You fought so hard. Please take a rest. I'll get you and Bliss to the Center as soon as I can..." Softly running her fingers down Serenity's neck, she recalls the vulpine.
It's then that she takes note of the not-Bug. "I'm sorry that you had to go through that..." She says, keeping down at its level. "That was very brave what you did. I've been in much your situation, and I know how incredibly hard and scary it is. What you did saved me, I know that much. And I'm very grateful."
"Are you going to be okay here? Because... I wasn't able to stop her. Not for good. I know the worry. Of someone like her coming back. Of not having something that might be able to protect you. I can't imagine how hard it is for you, when you're grass, against her fire."

The Lurantis shakes her head and takes very small steps into Thel's personal space, but doesn't make actual contact with him, large eyes wandering the patches of reeking corrosion that have taken off the paint and a significant depth of the solid chest piece. Her attention moves to the hole in the greenhouse where Diva had left, and she stilled again.
