"And there's someone who'll be here next week who can hopefully get rid of the unit entirely for you. We can cast that off, and you can be completely free from that."

These are situations that nobody's ever been in before, and I'm not going to let you just drift lost and alone..."
"I still want to try and help you during this next little while. Regardless of what else happens, or may happen afterwards. Because it may give some answers for how we go about things."
He closes his eyes. "I'm sorry. I don't have all the answers here. Or... really any. But... we shouldn't give up, or believe it's hopeless already. We don't know what the future may hold..."

She didn't wait for him to continue on the conversation, her expression fatigued and distant as she excused herself from Jasmine's meeting room.

"Things are never the same..." he says, mostly to himself as she leaves. "We just have to make the most of it that we can."
He sits there in silence for a few moments longer, before he gets up, muscles a bit sore from sitting. He's said all he can, and it seems like she needs some space to figure things out. So, he gathers all his stuff for school, with the standard asking of which of his 'mon want to go, and which want to stay with Patience for the day.
And, with that, he heads out for school, to see if anyone that he knows is there, what with battles being cancelled.

To Thel's surprise, his entire roster prefers to keep him company this particular morning. They are apparently uneasy with how crowded the gym has become, and firm on the notion, even Serenity who has grown quite fond of the girl.
The school is pretty quiet at this hour still. Without classes for the day, and everyone performing some form of labor above and beyond the normal, it seems to be an ample day to lounge or sleep in. Jesse is busy in the kitchen as always, and Jazz is working alongside her and having a fine time. Aliana and Celosia are reading in the dining hall, and Violet is nowhere to be found.

Having been a few days since he's last really seen them, so he'd like to say hi to Aliana and Celosia, but they're reading, so he doesn't really want to interrupt.
A little awkwardly, he sits down next to the pair of them, munching on some snacks. There's been a lot that's happened since breakfast.
"Hey there," he says. "Hope I'm not interrupting anything important. Was just wondering if all this weather and everything will cause a change of plans for Saturday."

Aliana closes her book and Celosia keeps reading. "It's nothing we haven't read or done before, a little rain won't put a damper on it... You want to swing by my room for a minute? I've got something for you.". Tucking her book under an arm, Aliana tapped a spot on Celosia's book twice and winked. "Told you so."

Celosia seems to be in a bit of a huff. "We were arguing over the meaning of a passage and it seems I was wrong. Frustrating as that might be."
"We have been meaning to catch up with you, but this week has been something else.". Aliana smiles, waving the boy along. Celosia moves in behind him as they head into the dormitories and to Aliana's room.
Though it is the same hall he has walked for week, a powerful sense of foreboding claws it's way up his back and raises the hair along the nape of his neck. When Aliana brings out a folded suit, and a black helmet with a stylized E sitting atop it, something cold and heavy drops into the pit of his stomach.
"It's a project of ours, it'll help you assist others."

Thel nods at Celosia, not wanting to speak up. He remembers the last time there was a discussion about her getting things wrong, and would rather not instigate more of that. Since he really doesn't know the right things to say to resolve that.
"What... is it?" he asks once Aliana's brought out her thing. He looks over it, confused. Confused and worried, because this is a very, very bad feeling. But they're his friends, so... "How would it help? It's just... clothes, it looks like."

You'd be able to haul stone down from the mountains for the seawall, or relocate some of the smaller homes in Olivine if you were careful. It's a project we've been working on with a second party for some time now.". Aliana explained cheerfully. "Try it on, see how it feels?"

Thel has the outfit on just long enough to get a good look in the mirror, at how it gives him a more feminine figure and completely obscures his identity...
... And Aliana was shaking him awake gently. "Thel? Thel you passed out. You started murmuring to yourself and fainted I guess? We let you rest for a little while, but I remembered you said your day was pretty full still."
