A not insignificant amount of food in arm, Thel returns to the gym. A sign has been added to the door, detailing its closure due to weather and unforseen circumstances. A number of sleeping bags are in the main lobby now, townsfolk gathered in little groups, talking amongst themselves. They hardly look up as he enters.
In the main gym, most of the Pokemon now make themselves as comfortable as they can, but the space isn't nearly the size of the caves and far less natural. Patience sits atop her favorite tingle-rock, and Jasmine is carrying on a discussion in low tones with Bastion.

Thel reeeealllly doesn't want to interrupt anything to do with Bastion, so instead goes to speak with Patience. "Hey there. Sorry it's... so late. Hopefully shouldn't be that bad other nights. Hopefully you're doing okay here?"
"Oh, brought some food back, if you want any." He glances outside. "Don't feel obligated, though, I'm sure there might be people out there who might like some."

"I could eat. We've been trying to get everyone comfortable for a while and it makes me nervous. People that lost their homes are coming here for shelter. A lot of strangers and new people.". Patience accepts one if the food parcels an immediately tucks in.

Jasmine accepts one of the premade meal boxes from Thel and has a seat beside her Probopass, looking up at Patience, then to Thel. There were no other humans in the room in the moment. "This conversation doesn't ever extend beyond the three of us. Under no circumstance. Is that clear?"
With an affirmation, she pulled up into a crosslegged sit. "There are a lot of politics that go with... Being a gym leader. I am afraid I am often on the wrong side of them.". Jasmine chewed her lower lip. "Typically, events that require aid are small and far between, but my stance has been to remain here in Olivine. To tend the lighthouse and our local problems. Being... Reserved as I am, I fear my words will either come as heartfelt nor in need enough to sway others to come to our aid."

"Tell her I would prefer something sweet if it has to be produce. Hondew Berries are a good choice. I have heard salt on fruit makes it taste better, but haven't gotten to try it yet."
