"No matter how much you deny it, I owe you everything Thel. A little lost sleep now and then is okay. We are all sleeping too much these days.". Settling against him, that place of consciousness faded, and gave way to a dreamless sleep till morning.
When Thel at last woke again, Patience was curled around him in the 'eating' posture she herself didn't like. The cave was atypically cold that morning, their bedding damp.

Brr. Cold is never fun. Especially when you don't have an inner fire, or a whole host of warm bodies. He'd reeeeally like to just stay in bed cuddled up, even if things are unpleasantly wet... but, there are things to do. Food to make, getting off to the Lighthouse, and maybe even seeing if he can manage to talk to Ophelia before classes.
So, trying his best not to wake Patience, he attempts to slowly extricate himself from her grip to make breakfast for himself and the others. It's going to be a long day, he feels. So, hearty meals for all...

The Pokemon eat readily, business as usual in terms of breakfast. Patience doesn't rouse. Oddly, but perhaps expectedly, many of Jasmine's Pokemon have migrated to the center of the cave away from the walls with a few exceptions. The Bisharp seems content to remain in hiding, and the Mawile is casually strolling the edges of the compound, looking at all the pretty rocks that weren't visible before with the other Pokemon lounging and coiling.

Well... all eaten and dressed and ready to go to the lighthouse. All in all... he's feeling pretty good, except for his arms. Those are stinging and aching. He doesn't want to just leave Patience's food here, though, in case someone (probably Gem) decides to swipe it, so he goes to gently see if he can wake Patience up.
"Hey, there, Patience," he says, gently shaking her. "I want to make sure you get some food today. Because it might be a bit late before I get back."

"Mmhh?". Patience stirs as she is lightly roused and sits up to accept her breakfast. "Oh... Thanks Thel.". She yawns, giving a little shiver against the dampness in the air. "Take it easy today, okay?". She accepts her breakfast graciously. "No unnecessary stress, no adventures? Promise?"

"Of course," he says, smiling. "It'll be a busy day anyways, I won't have time for anything else. Lighthouse three times, classes, meal prep, and then preparing for Friday..."
He looks to his Pokémon. "I think Jesse said there'll be some delivering around in the rain, so... that's what I'll probably be needing some companionship on today, if anyone doesn't mind. I... don't know if you'd mind keeping Patience company, Serenity? Just... to keep her warm, and with someone here. I don't know if being upstairs might be better, and warmer..."

Harmony is back in sight from who-knows-where, and at attention in front of Thel in seconds of his question. Serenity butts her head under Patience's arm and helps the girl to her feet, who is still holding her food. Hope seems to want nothing to do with the rain. Bliss, surprisingly, follows Harmony at a languid pace. She and the Falinks exchange a few sounds, to which she seems a little reluctant and embarrassed.
"Well, you will be in good company at least.". Patience smiled.

"Take care, all of you. I'll try and figure out why it's so cold and wet in here, too..." he says, waving to the three staying in the caves.
"Alright... it's lighthouse time," he says to Bliss and Harmony. "The Pokémon there are a little lonely, so, if you're willing, it would be nice to keep them company for a bit. Just... I have to ask you to not really touch anything unless they ask you to. They're really important, and we have to care for them and keep the lighthouse itself safe. Okay? Because they're keeping a lot of people safe right now."

Harmony gives a positive collective response, Bliss following suit but it is less certain. Neither Pokemon seems to mind the rain, Harmony squeaking some sort of marching hymn cheerfully in the rain, a row of shields held overhead to keep them semi-dry. Bliss seems distant today, her attention wandering between Thel and the clouds, arms folded across her chest.
Thel arrives in the lighthouse proper to find both Ampharos moving about, the building well lit as always.

He waves hello to the Ampharos, and encourages Harmony to go on and meet the pair, but hangs back a moment with Bliss.
"Are you doing okay, Bliss?" he asks, gently. "I know this is a rough time for everyone. You don't have to push yourself. If you just want to rest or something... that's okay, too. You've already done so much for me, recently."

Bliss shakes her head and gestures to the Falinks as they take turns introducing themselves to each of the ovines in groups of three. The Grass-type's expression is one of consternation, as though she doesn't get the why of it.
Harmony fluffs and turns the bedding for the Pokemon, still carrying on that tune from before. It is upbeat and has a rhythm to it that seems to keep them in time with each other. Bliss has a seat on a low stool and props her head up on her hands, slouched forward and watching the other Pokemon.

"I don't quite understand them, either," Thel admits. "They're all one, but not one... and it makes my head kind of hurt to keep track of it."
"You're all good to just sit and watch and stuff," he reassures. "I've just got to go start breakfast for the Ampharos. If you want company, you can pull that over and sit beside me, though. Whatever works for you."

Bliss vocalized a little, gesturing to Harmony, then to Thel, then to everything. It's a very 'I don't know what to do' sort of exasperation. She climbs back down from the stool, and wanders over to towards Harmony as Thel gets started on breakfast for the Lighthouse crew.

But, he understands it all. Having complete freedom can be paralyzing. It's so much easier to just... have something you know you have to do.

Bliss does as she is instructed and moves closer to the group of Pokemon. Her pace is shy, and she hangs back a short distance from Amphy, who stretches and yawns. Sirius seems to be having the time of his life, getting a rubdown from the Falinks, relaxing into his nest under a group of firm touches.
Harmony stops. There are a series of squeaks. Bliss shakes her head and leans away a little. The Brass approaches her and speaks in softer tones then it usually reserves for the other Falinks. It takes one of Bliss' hands and guides her to the lounging Pokemon. The tune begins again in slow earnest, with Bliss taking up a spot near the Pokemon's head.
In a shaky voice she emulates their canter as best she can, rubbing behind Amphy's ears.

It's been interesting to see Bliss in a situation where she isn't the confident one. He's really glad to see her willing to reach out to others. That was always the struggle, from the first days with her and Serenity competing for brushies. He gives a smile towards the group, appreciating how far she'd come. Well... how far they'd all come, really.
He neither interrupts them nor stares as he works on making food. But he's glad the Ampharos are enjoying things so far.

Then they finish with the Pokemon readying for bed, Harmony moves to the other, offering Bliss the same spot. Shaking her head, she moves to sit not far from Thel, putting on her most dignified expression and keeping her chin up. Thel noticed her glance his way now and then, and she folds her hands in her lap.

Thel doesn't want to be overbearing, so he just lightly rests a hand on one of Bliss' legs, and gives her a smile. "Proud of you," he says, quietly, before going back to breakfast. It's almost ready, then he can check on the tower while they're eating, make sure everything's fine. Then it'll be bathing, grooming, and off to school.
It's certainly been an eventful opening to the day.

Bliss sits taller after that. She seems to breathe a little easier too. She keeps Harmony company and seems to be showing it how to keep a stronger posture while Thel grooms and feeds both Ampharos. She doesn't seem as threatened by the six as she does Hope or Serenity. The grass type continues to converse with the Brass until Thel is ready to leave.

Though Thel'd already checked everything, he double-checks once again to make sure everything's in order before they head out. This is important, after all.
Once that's all finished, he gathers up his 'mon, bids farewell to the Ampharos, and makes his way to classes. Hopefully he can find Ophelia before classes.
