Svetlana turns her radio on, and static pours through the airwaves. ...Great.
She sighs and decides to step inside to see what she's gonna face, but a few steps in and during one of the steps the music from before is heard again, and another step and it's static again. Curiously, she steps back into the spot she heard it and there it is again. She moves around a bit and while most directions cause the music to static again, she actually finds that directionally north-west and south-east are the directions from where she was stood where the music can be heard again. Although going south-east it gets quieter while north-east it gets more clear.
Ah, so there just seems to be a 'source' to head to, and most other areas seem to have some sort of blockage of the radio waves. So if you hear anything, clearly you are heading in the right direction.

Okay...extra strange, but whatever. Condescending 'kiddie' remarks aside, at least it requires something more than brute force like Pewter, and is definitely a far sight better than that "mystery" in Viridian. Viridian's "event" had potential, but the actors were terrible. It was an affront to the arts, in Svetlana's mind. In any case, let's follow the music I suppose. Heading north-east.

As Svetlana follows the path, she notices some trainers running off into the distance seemingly on their own path. And the reason quickly becomes clear, as when she gets to where the music is loudest, she finds a transciever on a pedastal, with instructions to turn to what look like 3 more stations. After fiddling with stations for a minute, she finds that from her position there are three different oldie tunes to follow after, going straight north, straight south, as well as north east; which seems to be the path she saw the trainers go down. Although they probably guessed.

Svetlana decides to go straight north first. That way she's closer to the north-east area if/when she needs to go to it later.

Heading straight north leads to... what looks like just a darkened room. It looks like it could have been an employee lounge at one point, but now it's just a really dark empty room. Too dark to really see into, though.

As the lights turn on, two pokemon pop out! A Wartortle and a Charmeleon... wearing what look like some sort of brass goggles? They look at you and then eachother, wink and seemingly attack each other! But the attacks connect in mid-air and suddenly the room is filled with steam! They flick their goggles down and Svetlana suddenly notices it's harder to see. Ruh roh.
(Steam filled room, -3 to accuracy, and this is a single battle on Svetlana's side)

Svetlana launches a Poke Ball, and a large pile of sand appears in the middle of the floor. It quickly shapes itself into the form of a palace-like structure.

Palossand adjusts its size/shape to avoid the water blast and looks only mildly annoyed at the fire. It attempts to put the water-type to sleep.

Palossand opens its mouth? extra wide and opens a hole out the back to let the flames pass through. It then returns to normal proportions and fires off an orb of ghostly energy right back at it.
