"Well, you'd have to scout a place out first. Gotta know where you would want to build. Alternatively, you could try entering one of the offices for the Pokemon League, who handle this sort of thing, and just see what they have available."

Somewhat reluctantly, Kaede and Rosa follow along. If only to ensure that they both record any ensuing chaos that Skye creates and (attempt to) keep her out of trouble...
After a few days, Skye finds the perfect location for her future Ranch Grounds. Now, obviously she wasn't expecting it to magically appear out of thin air the moment she declared this to be the spot. That's silly. She may have even anticipated there being some paperwork or a wait period. What she did not, and likely could not have anticipated was the sheer amount of paperwork she was asked to fill out. A good number of these pages were just copies of other pages! "For posterity" they said. "So we can make sure everyone in the correct departments who needs one can get it." They soothe.
Then there was some bit about the whole dual-citizenship thing she had going on. Obviously, in order to become a Pokemon Trainer in a given region, you must first be a legal citizen of such. Thankfully for Skye, even in spite of the separation of Kanto and Johto, she (and her family) still maintained citizenship in both regions. She had even had it renewed automatically when she became a Trainer with the aim to participate in the Indigo League. It's just...there's so much! So...many...words!

Once Skye is finally freed from Paperwork Hell, she meets back up with Rosa and Kaede...and promptly buries her face into Kaede's lap. "So...tired..."

After some fluffy healing, Skye decides to head to the Viridian forest to train and capture new Pokemon.

As soon as you reach the edge of the forest, a mysterious blue screen appears before your eyes, asking something about a 'dungeon'. Re-reading it more carefully, it says that there is a 'dungeon version' of Viridian Forest where there are almost never other trainers, but stronger Pokemon. The screen wishes to know if you desire to enter.

The other two nervously huddle closer to Skye, as she's the only one who has actual Pokemon with her. That said, they do relax somewhat when there is nothing immediately dangerous jumping out at them.

After the somewhat disastrous fight with the Fennekin, Kaede and Rosa rummage around in your bag and pull out one of the enriched waters to help you get back on your feet. They recall your Litwick as well and then proceed to carry you back the way they came until you wake; likely intending to reach the Pokemon Center in Viridian.

Upon waking in Rosa's lap, Skye immediately tries to pretend she's still asleep to avoid have to *leave* said lap.
