One of the stings goes awry, but the other is enough; Zeta slumps over, unconscious. Mayu recalls him in favor of Alpha, then lashes out with a flurry of snow.

The minor snow flurry manages to catch and weaken both of the Wurmple, and the follow-up from Alpha easily finishes off one of them. The remaining one continues firing venomous barbs at Mayu's Pokemon.

Mayu stops here to apply some basic first aid to Zeta. Despite not managing to do much damage, he did manage to weather the Wurmples' initial onslaught. Even Alpha might have had some trouble with that.

Deino is knocked unconscious again, unable to withstand fighting a 2v1 battle. Faith seems displeased at this, perhaps feeling that Mayu took unfair advantage of the unspoken honor system. Or something.

Faith recalls her Pokemon and returns to the center for healing.

Well, she should have spoken about it first, then. She should also maybe explain why she's upset, because Mayu is terrible at reading social cues. By her standards, Faith is taking this quite calmly; hardly any seething with fury and/or shame at all!
She heads for the center alongside the other girl, remarking only, "Well fought."
