Persian is dispatched handily, and Fuhren heals quite nicely from it. Kafer very nearly takes out Serperior, failing only due to Leech Seed. Going for broke, Serperior first tries to drain, then hurls a glob of shadows at Kafer.

The ball successfully boops the Serperior, but it breaks out moments later. It's still "recovering" from its accelerated attack, so Shedinja is the only one to worry about just now. It keeps trying to bap Fuhren.

A pain resistance keeps Fuhren up after the first strike. Now 'hopefully' another strike back takes the Shedinja out, before accepting the heal from Kafer! Kafer herself decides to help Victoria out and put statuses on the Serperior.

Victoria sighs and runs over to pick up her Great Ball. She really wants the ghost Serperior.

Shedinja is taken out by the super-effective attack (only way to win anyway), and Serperior is enraged. Despite fainting, Shedinja manages to Spite Fuhren's Air Cutter. Again. Man, these Pokemon really have it out for Air Cutter. Still, Serperior does what it can: attempt to drain the nearest foe. In this case, Kafer.

Serperior is caught! Male, level 30, Calm, with Overgrow and Accelerate. Special Move: Shadow Ball. Special Type: Ghost in addition to Grass. With that out of the way, the tree awakens fully. Its roar is felt more than it is heard. In a burst of rainbow-colored light, the tree is transformed. That...can't be good.

The first attempt misses but the second doesn't, and Fuhren is barely up. Same for Kafer after the seeds from ages ago. Fuhren launches off again, followed by Kafer, and then Fuhren falls, replaced by Leibling!
