Baiken can hold off the dragon's attacks, but Daidouji is rocked pretty hard. Daidouji whips a ball at the injured one, and Baiken engages the other one.

After a bit more walking, Daidouji comes across a small group of Clefairy playing a game with each other. One seems to be trying to instruct the other two to mimic its motions.

The Clefairy seemed to be playing a game. They seemed to be the first ones to not attack Daidouji on sight. Might as well let them be.

At Point #12, Daidouji encounters a person for the first time since entering. They seem familiar...oh, and they have a Heracross! Ah! Yes! That's right, this is Bug Catcher Miri. That guy with the girl's name from Viridian Forest who nearly 1v2'd her. Judging by the nasty-looking metal critter next to him (Durant), he's been busy. He hears you approach and turns around.
"Oh! Hey! It's you again! The dragon girl!" He grins. "Good seeing ya again! Isn't this place neat? The Pokemon here are a lot tougher than the usual fare at Mt. Moon."
Miri's Heracross offers a salute to Daidouji.

Daidouji notices the bug boy, and gives a small nod. "Hm...Yes things are quite more challenging here. I can assume you've gotten stronger?" Daidouji narrows her eyes, and cracks her knuckles.

"I have managed to add Durant here to my team, and Heracross has grown stronger." He sates. "I'm afraid I'm still not physically fit enough to challenge you directly, however." Miri adds sheepishly. "I'm working on it though! I think soon I should be able to at least hold my own."

Daidouji shrugs, and snorts at this guy matching up to her. His pokemon did offer a reasonable challenge though...She points to them. "It's been a while since we battled in Viridian Forest, so it's that time again. I want to battle you. Now."

Miri is more than happy to oblige Daidouji with a 2v2. He's not gonna act like he can win at a disadvantage again. He learned that lesson in the forest.
He sends out Durant first.
