Stephanie whips around and stares at the bush. Something hidden maybe? Or a very mature Tangela? She decides to take out her notes, rips out an empty page and makes a paper Skarmory, known for it's still body as it glides through the sky. (A paper airplane for those in a different century)
She tosses it at the bush.

It just kinda...flies through the bush. Like the bush isn't even there. In fact, the bush shimmers and disappears moments later; the illusion shattered. A weary-looking black fox flashes a cheshire grin at Stephanie.

She takes out something more energizing of her chef's creations and sets it on the ground in front of the creature while she sits and looks over her notes and compares it to the tome entry.
"Here eat this, get some of your energy back. Hmmm... No 'Zorua' on my lists for what I need but it seems like it's still powerful in other ways. The ability to create illusions could prove useful..."
She looks back up to see it's progress on her food.

Zorua eats this as well, though a bit slower. Guess it just used up a lot of energy on that Illusion. It has been following you for at least a couple of minutes disguised as a bush.

Zorua is Male, level 6, Naive, with Illusion.

Having spotted the retreating Pikachu, Stephanie begins tailing them. It's only a matter of time before they return to wherever it is they nest, and then there'll be even more Pikachu around. Aggravating an entire nest of anything at once is probably a bad idea.

Stephanie decides to act quickly, and throws Waking out in the middle of them before they get too far. Hopefully she'll get a chance to start picking others off via sleep with Destiny, but for now Waking should get some 'apology' targets.

Waking - 19 The Mimikyu enters the fray confused at first, as it remembered going after a Pikachu in the kitchen, but now is out in front of five with the instruction from Stephanie to 'have fun'. So it does! It expends a snack of Stephanies to smack one of them into oblivion! Stephanie uses Focused Orders

Well, Pikachu is definitely hurt, but now Waking is paralyzed and still facing down five angry Pikachu. The first, injured Pikachu unleashes a blast of electricity.

The second one attempts to rush Waking from behind, but the Normal-Type attack fails to affect the Ghost/Fairy-Type.
Pikachu #3 tries to phaze Waking further with a cutesy kiss attack.

The remaining two, having seen that physical attacks don't work, also fire off some electrical attacks.

The attacks come quick and fast but... wow they don't seem to do much. Waking blinks and looks to Stephanie who's too busy laughing to respond. Waking looks back and shrieks! Her body seizes up but that means she can finish off one of them at least! Save:

The big blast only hits the cloth 'fake chu' bits of Waking. h0i_za8x1d20Waking freezes up again but keeps attacking down the line. Stephanie starts to look worried, eventually Waking will be worn down. She made need to switch it up, get Destiny involved to sleep one and take it off the board. She also eyes the balls in her bag, knowing she made need to 'catch' one, albeit temporarily (or trade potentially, for that matter) to even the odds. For now she watches Waking strike another. Waking turns in a Sweet Confection Food Buff for +4 evasion for one round
