Floyd heads back out to sea in order to check the underwater facility that is nearby. Utilizing the same method of entry as last time, he makes his way inside. As with the previous facility, the place seems fairly empty.

Floyd proceeds through the facility, looking for a desk like they found at the last one. Or anything that has a computer. Or a room with people in it.

Floyd finds a room filled with computers. Surprisingly, none have passwords. Of course, this appears to be because someone/something wiped the hard drives of most of them. After searching around the seemingly empty facility more, Floyd comes across an office with a still-password-locked computer. This one is bound to have something on it if it hasn't been wiped yet.

Floyd carefully detaches the computer monitor and tower and secures them in a canvas sack that he's kept buried at the bottom of his backpack before continuing through the facility, now looking for an exit to the surface, as well as any 'experiments' or other evidence left.

Floyd comes across a storage room while searching for an alternative exit. It seems mostly cleared out, but there is a box full of loose papers tucked away in a back corner behind some other, empty boxes. If Floyd digs it out, a single Poke Ball rolls out from behind a shelf, dislodged by the removal of the box of papers. It has no apparent label, but if Floyd should open the ball, a red and grey shuckle pops out. (Delta Shuckle!)

Floyd releases the pokemon and recalls it when it proves to be docile. He then transfers the paper to his backpack and moves on.

After wandering around for a bit longer and not really finding much, Floyd eventually comes across some signs pointing to an emergency exit. When he reaches it, he finds a lone figure standing in the way. The strange woman says nothing, merely producing a strange-looking Poke Ball from inside her suit jacket. Seems you'll need to fight and defeat this woman before you can leave. As you draw closer, you get the feeling that this battlefield has been prepared ahead of time in her favor. It feels like you are walking into a trap, but you can't afford to turn back now. Somehow, you know this person is important to everything that has been going on.

Floyd narrows his eyes and sets what he's found aside, releasing Falchion to face the woman's pokemon and preparing himself to strike personally.
Intitiatives: Falchion - 30 Floyd - 5

After Calyx is defeated by Volcarona's explosive finish, the woman calmly collects all the files and possible evidence that Floyd has gathered on his person. She then revives her Volcarona and uses it to escape the facility after sabotaging all escape routes by first setting it into Lockdown mode to seal it and then blocking/sealing the doors from the outside to ensure that Floyd has as difficult a time as possible escaping. For good measure, and to ensure nobody can re-enter the facility from outside, she also has Volcarona greatly damage it with Spacial Rend. Her motivations for doing this will likely forever remain a mystery.
Floyd's countdown begins now. With no power in the air scrubbers, the damaged and flooding facility will run out of air in approximately a week's time.

Floyd awakens, treats his wounds, takes stock of his things and starts looking for his pokemon and any other evidence that might remain

After spending almost half a day searching, Floyd has yet to come across any of his Pokemon, let alone any remaining anything in this place that he hasn't already discovered. Apparently the strange, unnamed woman went out of her way to hide his Poke Balls to delay his escape as long as possible.

Floyd continues to look for his pokemon, calling out and keeping an eye out for places where its easy to hide pokeballs. Like Experimental lab spaces with far too many cupboards.

It takes quite a lot of time, but Floyd eventually finds a shrunk-down Poke Ball hidden in the back of some cupboards in the small cafeteria. That's one down, five to go....
Approximately 24 hours later...
At long last, the final Poke Ball has been found. It was Sicarius' ball, hidden in an out of the way corner in the flooded section of the facility. Now just a quick rest and he can worry about making his way out (unless Floyd would rather escape now and sleep later).

Floyd naps for a few hours before leaving, with his pokemon watching over him.

Floyd spends roughly two hours getting through the international airport security (good thing he left extra early), if only because it didn't occur to him that he'd need to register his weapon first. In Kanto, trainers walking around with weapons is uncommon, but not entirely unexpected given the rise of full-contact Gym Battles. In Unova though, while owning lethal weapons isn't illegal (see firearms), walking around with a giant ax strapped to your back is going to turn heads and possibly make non-trainers and/or police nervous. At least inside the cities. Out in the wilderness, you can generally carry whatever you like. After much deadpan cooperation, Floyd is finally seated on his...14-hour flight. Joy.

Floyd pulls out an extremely thick and obtuse book on the myths and legends of Kalos - both to research his own target and in the hopes of finding new information to help Jane.

Floyd's book provides a small amount of information on the Swords of Justice in general, which is a group of Legendary Fighting-Type Pokemon that protect the Pokemon of Unova. Primarily just mentioning the accepted origin story of the group. The book has many rumors and much speculation surrounding the precocious imp Pokemon known as Hoopa, but the one thing all agree on is an ancient Kalosian city known as Dahara was destroyed by Hoopa for reasons unknown.

Upon exhausting his reading material, Floyd relaxes by examining the selection of movies and watching the ones most relevant to pokemon training.

Alas, the selection of movies is rather bland. Even to someone like Floyd. Strangely enough though, he finds himself getting sucked into this one romance movie. It's about a forbidden love between a human male and a female Gardevoir, and it's just so bad that he can't look away. He only selected it out of morbid curiosity, but now he's completely invested in it for reasons he cannot begin to fathom. Thankfully, it eventually wraps up and he lands at the Unova International Airport. The local time is very early morning (4 AM), which is a bit jarring for Floyd, considering that the plane left Kanto at 8 AM and was only 14 hours long. That's when he is introduced (again) to the concept of 'time zones'.
