Turns out the small hatch in Nue's room closed on its own while you were downstairs. Nothing else of interest here.

Inspired by the secret passage way into Nue's game room, Yue looks around the house for other secret passage ways, preferably one that leads to the attic. Survival: 6vNNWDjU3d6 Perception: 4d6 3d6·4d6

Through touch, if not sight, Yue is able to discover what she believes to be many more hidden passages like the one she crawled out of into the hallway. She can't seem to figure out how to open them, as just pushing doesn't seem to work. Must be a special way to do it, or maybe they only open from the inside? Questions/discoveries for later. Despite all her searching, Yue can't seem to find a path that may lead to an attic. Maybe there isn't an attic at all? It's certainly beginning to seem that way. The basement is much easier to find, as it has a normal door and staircase. However, it's pretty boring down there. Nothing but big barrels of unknown stuff (wine casks) and extra storage space.

Disappointed by the lack of interesting stuff in the basement, Yue goes of to search for a more interesting room to explore, still keeping an eye out for secret passage ways, preferably ones she can actually use. Survival: IFr26Eas3d6 Perception: 4d6 3d6·4d6

Yue's "sixth sense" allows her to discover a certain area in the house that seems...off somehow. She can't quite put her finger on what's special about it, but it definitely feels special.

Yue scours the area for it's secrets, looking for even the slightest thing that feels out of place. During her hunt, she also attempts to focus on her sixth sense in an attempt to pinpoint exactly what about the area feels special. Perception: pBbcusAS4d6 Intuition: 3d6 4d6·3d6

The trouble with Yue's under-developed sixth sense is that everything in this hallway feels 'special' and 'out of place'. It's like the whole area is out of place with the rest of the house and it's throwing her off. The trouble is that it looks just like every other hallway. The same wall material, the same wallpaper, similar furnishings, etc.
Going off of a hunch combined with previous experience, Yue begins gingerly tapping the floors and walls, while occasionally looking up towards the ceiling. No sooner has she reached the center of this hallway then the entire hall seems to rotate somehow! It tosses her about, but none of the furniture seems to move, like it's bolted in place.

Yue turns the hallway 90 degrees from it's original position, trying to see if it will open up a route to a previously inaccessible part of the house.

Yue can't quite seem to figure out what made the hallway turn in the first place, so maneuvering it further seems impossible. However, once it settles, it doesn't move again, and Yue can see certain things that seemed out of place now looking/feeling like they're where they're meant to be. No new doors or passages seem to open up, but Yue's sixth sense is tingling again, suggesting that there is a way out of this that isn't back the way she came in (which is now unreachable).

The first thing Yue does is to look around and take stock of the area she ended up in, looking for anything that might help her in the process. Perception: z6ap57fw4d6 Intuition: 3d6

In truth, Yue's location hasn't changed beyond "the hallway turned 90 degrees and she's now on what was once the wall". After studying it for awhile, Yue discerns that each of the pieces of furniture must have something to do with opening the exit.

Yue's poking and prodding of the furniture eventually provides results; there is a hidden, recessed button on a small table leg. Pressing it produces a faint click sound. Fresh off this discovery, Yue manages to find six others scattered about on the furniture that are only visible when you look at it just right. Once all seven have been pressed, the hall rotates again, dumping Yue down a shaft that ends in a pool of water. Sputtering her way to the surface and clambering onto solid ground, Yue finds herself in an entirely new location. It feels like she's underground again. In the same way that she was while within Nue's 'game room'.

The first thing Yue does after realizing her natural night vision was among the powers lost due to the curse is release Hearth to use as a light source. Holding the candle pokemon in the palm of her hand, Yue slowly turns a full 360 degrees, taking in her new surroundings. Perception: SALK36Gw4d6 4d6

The area behind her only contains the pool of water and the shaft that Yue fell down from. Ahead is a narrow tunnel through natural stone. Following it for what feels like eternity leads Yue to an obstacle course with only minimal torchlight to reveal it.

Seems the goal is to get to the other side, and there is a 'scoreboard' of sorts at the start with times on it. So it's a race then. Who can get the fastest time.

Yue recalls Hearth so as to have both of her hands free. Stretching lightly, Yue warms herself up a bit before crouching into a starting position. Gathering her strength, she bolts forward into the obstacle course. Acrobatics x3: NBBdXBjM3d63d63d6 Athletics: 2d6 3d6·3d6·3d6·2d6

Yue nearly trips over a hidden wire right out of the gate, but turns it into a front handspring to gain distance. She runs just as hard as she can to the end. It doesn't feel like it took very long, but the scoreboard on the far end says she was a good ten seconds behind her mother, the slowest of the three on the board. In descending order, the score times are: 00:15:01 (Nue), 00:15:05 (Shinobi), 00:20:55 (Himori), 00:30:55 (Yue). Must be a magic scoreboard if it updated by itself. Still, it was a fun diversion. The way out must be ahead yet.
Yue makes her way forward and eventually comes across what looks like an armory of some kind, filled with all sorts of neat, ninja-themed toys.

Yue resolves to one day beat Nue's score as she looks through the ninja themed weaponry for anything and everything that incorporates a chain into it's design.
