The instructor takes the ball, depressing the button to open it up and inspect the insides. It opens, thankfully, and he hums in something resembling approval at first, then instructs Yue to go catch some Wild Pokemon with her two self-made balls to ensure that they work properly. Any Pokemon will do, and she can release them after.
Chance of success with Ball #1: 70% (result of 1-70: xRaVOcQl1d100)
Chance of success with Ball #2: 75% (result of 1-75: 1d100)
While Yue's second ball is perfectly made, the first one, from the night before, seems to fail to energize the Pokemon at all. Yue is instructed to figure out where she went wrong and then fix it. She also releases the random Pokemon back into her family's 'underground forest' that she'd discovered some time ago.1d100·1d100

It's such a little thing. Just a slightly misshapen magical rune (the stuff that makes the apricorn ball work) and it fails to do anything at all. By taking it apart, Yue is able to discover this and erase the previous rune in order to re-draw it with more precision. When tested again, it works perfectly. Success!

Rotom gives Yue a tour of Electric Branch, where it has been hanging out until recently. It shows her the workshops, the dorms (which are individual, rather than shared), and other such things.

Yue moves her stuff into the dorm from her old room in the normal dorm. "Thanks again for all your help today, Roro!" Yue says. "Now then...I'm kind of worried about Sara so I think I'll go check up on her..." Yue says to herself, heading off to the Bug Branch to do just that.

Yue, unfortunately, realizes she has no idea in which direction the siblings went, nor what sort of mission they took. If she wants to meet up with them again, she'll simply have to hang around/check in on Bug Branch every so often.

Things have indeed calmed down in the Water Branch. Callidora appears to be swimming with some fish Pokemon in the pool.

Callidora looks up and over at Yue, then breaks into a grin as she swims to the side of the pool and climbs out. "Cool! Let's get you your swim clothes, yeah?" She takes Yue to a 'shop' for lack of a better term, and has her try on some of the swimsuits/bikinis available. After she has modeled a few, she gets Yue's input on which ones she likes (or if there was a different one she was eyeing).

Callidora blinks. "Well, some people have preferences. Like color or style. If you really don't have an opinion, you can just pick anything. Some people wear swim clothes at the beach just to show off for other people, but that doesn't really matter here."

Callidora seems confused by Yue's confusion, but shrugs it off to try and find something in Yue's preferred colors. None are on display, but since she's the Branch Leader's daughter, it's not difficult to get one magically altered to be black and red. She pays for it, since Yue is her new friend, and hands it over; reminding Yue to use the changing rooms if she wants to get into it now so she can play in the pool.

Yue gets changed as quickly as she can. "This...feels weird...I'm not used to showing this much skin, Calli." Yue says as she follows Callidora back out to the pool.

Callidora takes Yue back into the shop, has her hang out in the changing room while she exchanges the bikini for a one-piece suit in the same colors. She returns only a minute later and, once Yue has put it on, escorts her back to the shallowest end of the pool.
"Alright, I'm assuming that you have never had the opportunity to learn how to swim, right? It's fine if you haven't, because I will gladly teach you!"

"Thanks, Calli. You're awesome." Yue says, much less embarrassed than before, but still enough to have a slight blush on her face and cause her to become a bit subdued. Yue gingerly dips her toe in the water before slowly but surely making her way into the pool.
