Leon was a little dumbfounded having a hard time processing all the information he had received, there was another type of Pokemon the fairies. He'd heard stories about fairies who could face off against legendary beasts and monsters of old, but he had thought they were just that stories. If there was such a pokemon existed he had thought his family would have gone to every expense to collect them, though he had also thought the mental defenses he was taught at a young age would protect him from any attacks on his mind and that was clearly false.
Leon was shaken, especially since although the psychic was able to probe his mind they saw no signs of knowing the information he had just learned, even though his mind was racing with thoughts of what had just happened. He glanced down at the Pokeball of the pink fluffy creature and wondered if he was going insane. Leon decided to take the Psychic Trainers advice heading to his dorm and making a few pester balls occasionally glancing at the Pokeball.
Eventually, his curiosity overrode his order to avoid stressful stimuli. Leon picked the ball at first apprehensive about letting the creature out, but there was something inside. It felt bright and comforting and pink for some reason, It didn't feel evil. Taking a breath he compressed the button on the apricorn ball, before letting the Pink creature out onto his bed.
"Excuse me, Ms.Clefairy, Could you explain more what has happened to me?" he asked hoping they would be able to set his mind straight.

Clefairy pops out and says they will explain to the best of their ability. Thus begins a several-hour long speech about the origin of 'Magical Girls' and how they are intrinsically connected to the Fairy Type. Clefairy also states that Leon's family, the Hectrills, have sought out and captured many of its kin in an attempt to better hunt the 'evil' dark type pokemon. It recently discovered one such 'collection' of Fairy Pokemon were still in captivity, and requests Leon's aid in freeing them. Not right away, as they aren't in any true danger as of yet, but just as soon as possible.

Leon sat and listened to the Clefairy's story noting down the abilities and history of fairy's interactions with humans. When Clefairy got to Leon's family and what they were planning on doing with the fairies he knew he had to help but was glad to know they weren't in immediate danger. "Of course, I'll help you. Those people are only my family in name alone now. If they're planning on hurting your kin and Dark pokemon by forcing them to fight. I'll do everything in my power to make sure that they do not succeed. Though there is one thing that has been sticking out to me. Why did you keep referring to it as being a Magical Girl?" he asked clearly not a girl himself.

Clefairy giggles, as if it's some clever joke. "Well, if you shout 'Moon Fairy Power!' (yes, you must shout it at the top of your lungs) then you'll find out! It's better this way than if I try to explain it. Oh, just a few other things you should know: You are the only one who can understand me in this manner. Everyone else hears only normal Pokemon speech. Your identity is a magical girl need not be secret from everyone, but it's better if you keep it secret from as many as possible, for your own safety. Villainous groups or individuals may try to exploit your power by harming those close to you. Finally, your can still access some of your powers outside of your transformed state, but they'll not be quite as powerful and to do so would also run the risk of revealing your identity. So before you attempt your first transformation, I recommend we find someplace out of the way."

Leon nodded a bit making sure to commit the phrase to memory and the importance of secrecy, but was curious what was so funny about what was just explained and figured he would understand when he tried the magic words Clefairy had taught him. He was about to leave when he realized that if he tried to carry Clefairy's ball out of the Guild it would be locked up since he already had 6 pokemon. Thinking it over Leon stored Ida's Pokeball in his dresser for the moment, before looking to Clefairy "Do you prefer walking around free or should I keep you in your Apricorn Ball?" he asked not sure how a pokemon who could talk would feel about the devices

Clefairy says that it would prefer to walk free, but knows that may not always be possible. She'll definitely be remaining out while Leon is transformed the first few times, however.

Leon agreed with that, thinking it was best that Clefairy was with him during these times to make sure he did everything correctly. Leon left the Clefairy and then thought about where to go next. The swamp was out with the Swamp Witch lurking about, and Leon didn't feel much like messing around in the muck. To the north was out since that was the path to Cerulean Village and would likely have multiple people traveling through it. The same problem lied to the west, that path leads to Celadon Castle Town.
With that figured out Leon realized the best path was to the south into the Vermillion Plain, sure he and Clefairy would find a more private out of the way place for him to test this new transforming power.

A few hours later, once Leon finds an out of the way spot in the Vermillion Plains, Clefairy hands him a cutesy-looking handheld rod telling him that this object is the key to his transformation, alongside of the words. The words merely activate the object's power, which then causes the transformation. Clefairy encourages Leon to take his time and not rush into this. 'Try not to psych yourself out', it suggests. It also assures Leon that the only danger present is if the transformation is interrupted somehow, though that is extremely unlikely given how rapid it is.

Leon nodded a bit looking over the rod a couple times holding it out in front of him saying the words a couple time until they felt a bit more normal to say. Leon took a breath holding it out in front of him calling out "Moon Fairy Power!". Leon was then engulfed in a bright pink light as he felt like he was floating for a moment, he spun around slowly in the air as the feeling of his clothes disappeared, then his body gently contracted he felt about a foot or two shorter.
After that, he felt the area of his chest grow, while his hair and eyelashes grew longer and when he caught a glimpse of his longer hair he saw it now was a bright pink, the wand suddenly glowed as a white disk the color of the moon appeared in front of him. He floated through it, now feeling something tied up in his hair. Looking down at his body he was wearing a short yellow and white dress as it sparkled a cape flowing down from his shoulders and a tail of frills growing from the hem of the dress.
Feeling the urge to do so Leon held the wand above his head as it extended into a staff nearly his whole height flower buds on the tip blooming into a bouquet of beautiful flowers. Leon held the staff close to his heart spinning for a moment before posing holding the staff out saying aloud "With the Power of the Moon and Fairies, I'll protect the world. Magical Girl Leanne~!"

Clefairy strikes a pose alongside of the newly dubbed Magical Girl Leanne, and waits for Leanne to 'recover' from the transformation. Clefairy gets the feeling that 'Leanne' might just freak out about her sudden gender swap, if not the transformation in general.

Leon was absolutely floored "What the...How the...Why the...Clefairy, What just happened?!" is what he wanted to say what Leanne said was "That was quite exhilarating! and this gown is so lovely, Clefairy what has happened to me?" as she grinned standing in place turning her body to get a better look at her new outfit

Clefairy explains that Leanne's 'magical soul' has been brought to the forefront, prompting this transformation. For reasons even Clefairy doesn't understand, all humans blessed with Fairy Magic have female 'magical souls', regardless of being born male or female. Some humans have attempted to 'reject' this transformation/empowerment, resulting in the 'interrupted transformation' that Clefairy mentioned before. It happens more often in those who are born male. Their 'masculine soul' (aka their true soul) resists joining with the more feminine 'magical soul', which must be one (or at least cooperative) in order to allow ones abilities to perform properly. With natural girls, of course, there is no problem. It's extremely rare for a girl to reject the gift of their 'magical soul'. Clefairy also goes on to explain how, in order to not only help people adjust to their new, mystical form, but also to help distance the 'magical girl' from her 'true self', the transformation also imparts a separate, partial personality to the magical girl in question. Thus the difference between what "Leon" wanted to say, and what "Leanne" also said.

"So she is some sort of conduit? To help direct the powers since my own masculine soul might clash with the magical soul causing problems?" Leon asked since Clefairy made it clear she could at least hear him as Leanne smiled understanding, so she just hummed and rocked on her heels so as not to confuse Clefairy with two voices at once.

"To be honest I'm honestly still not 100% sure I haven't gone a bit crazy, I mean you speaking and transforming into what is essentially another person and another gender is that is a little hard to wrap my head around, but from what you've explained if I tried using the powers as my normal self they would be weaker. Which means it would be harder to help your kin, and if becoming a Magical Girl is necessary to save them it's something I'm willing to do," he explained as Leanne smiled "Plus you get to wear this lovely outfit and enjoy my pleasant company" she added as Leon made some half-hearted agreement noises causing Leanne to pout a bit "I've only existed for a few moments, I'm sure you'll warm to me while we're transformed," eliciting the same response from Leon though this statement made him realize something.
"Oh yeah on the transformation Clefairy, how do I turn back to normal?" he asked as Leanne made some anxious noises "Do you have to right now? It's such a lovely day and I'd like to stretch my legs" she said

"What?!" Leon asked sounding much more distressed as Leanne beamed "Really?!" she said happily but coughed putting on a more calm face hearing Leon's reaction "Calm yourself. I know that's a bit distressing but we just have to make the most of it. I'm sure Clefairy will be able to think of something..." she said motioning to the Clefairy "And in the meantime, I can go explore this Saffron City you know about. Sounds like a lovely place from your memories" she said quickly with a big smile trying to head in the direction of the city as Leon bristled "Oh no you don't we're not leaving this field until I turn back!" he exclaimed.
"Well, what if the way to transform back is to run out of energy? or go to sleep? If we're just standing out in this field that will take a good long while. Plus back in town, there may be a library or some equivalent at the guild. We could look into the old stories to see if this happened to someone before." she said as Leon made a strained noise "Well I suppose that's possible...", he said as she continued "Plus someone needs to show up and let Alex, Brooke and Yue know you're alright or they might start to worry" "Yeah that's true too, I don't want them thinking I up and vanished especially after my episode in the clinic" "Then let me head back, I promise to do nothing untoward while I'm in control" she said as Leon went quiet for a good long while before sighing "Alright, but you meet up with the group and then we head straight to the library to figure this out, Alright?" he asked "Deal!" she said happily whisking Clefairy up into her arms as she made her way happily back toward the city almost skipping.

Clefairy brightens suddenly. "Yes! I don't know how to change back manually, but if you wear yourself out the transformation should end on its own."
On foot, it still takes a few hours to get back to the city, and it's now mid-afternoon (roughly 4 PM).

"Really? That's relief" Leon said sounding happier as Leanne nodded smiling "See, just let me have a fun day and you'll be back to normal before bedtime so..." she said about to go have some fun as Leon said "Wait wait wait...just because I'll turn back eventually doesn't mean we still shouldn't still find a manual way" he said as Leanne nodded reluctantly but brightened remembering something.
"That's true but first we have to go see the group, and that means going into the guild, and on that. I think I should join the guild." she said smiling as Leon made some noises of disbelief "And why is that?" he asked expecting a good reason "Simple to go see your friends or investigate any information resources they have. I likely need to be a Guild Member, plus we have 6 pokemon" she said motioning to the balls on her belt "If I'm not a member people will question how I can have 4 over the limit" she said slipping the pokeballs besides Clefairy's and Rex's into the pouch on her belt so as not to appear suspicious at first.
Leon tried to think up an argument but groaned unable to find fault in her logic "Fine, I guess that makes sense, but say you already live in town out of the guild. I don't need you to run out of energy in the middle of a girls dorm somewhere" he said as Leanne grinned "Will do," she said heading for the guild building looking for someone to talk to.
