Mica plunks down Dusty between herself and the Tauros. "I'm not letting mean cows tell me I can't play with the nice cows! Dusty, it's sandbox time!" The Trapinch was excited to see use again, having never experienced the PC before, it had definitely been... something. Raising a nub foot, it stamped only once, the grass and earth around it cascading into a bowl of loose grit with the antlion at it's center, mouth open. This is fine.
"Leave me be or I'm going to punch you all in the nose and give you a firm scolding!"

Donovan slowly walks up and puts a hand on Mica's shoulder, standing as still as possible "Mica. What are you doing"
He took a few deep breaths before offering a hand "I really think we should get up, slowly walk back, and go around....maybe go find the farmer who owns all of these and they can get them back in there"
The whole time he kept his eyes on the angrier of the Pokemon, slowly pulling out his Pokedex and scanning all he could see

The maned bull that she was addressing stares at Mica, snorting, before taking a single deliberate step forwards, triple tails whipping. It seems to be unimpressed with her threat, and giving her one last chance to submit to its authority.
"Tauros," reads Donovan's 'Dex as this is going on, "The Wild Bull Pokémon. They have a fierce temperament, and the strength to back it up. These Pokémon will constantly clash with each other in order to establish a system of dominance. The best way to keep one calm is to move slowly, and avoid eye contact. Rapid movements and challenging it are good ways to trigger its wrath."
"Miltank," it, continues, moving on to the next "The Milk Cow Pokémon. Known for their gentle nature and nutritious milk, these Pokémon are a favourite of ranchers. While they tend to avoid conflict, though, they are strong and hardy, and can be relentless if made angry. It is advisable to avoid approaching their young in the wild."

"I'm not letting a challenge force me to change course." Mica replied in a determined tone, digging a series of traps out of her pack. Giving them a toss, she extended the range of their frontline four squares to one side, two deep. "Alright Dusty, we're doing this!"
The bug-like (but not actually a bug) Pokemon gave a little wriggle and a grunt, a series of large stones pulling up out of the sandpit around it to hover in the air, more and more as it and Mica went on the offensive.
(Arena Trap covers a 5 meter radius in Slow and Trapped, Mica has placed an Urban Trap. Trapinch is acting aggressively and will be using Rock Slide on it's initiative.)

"Mica, let's think of this logically" Donovan starts, never mind that in the dream world he bit a murderer and defied her orders "They outnumber us and I don't think THIS is any sort of dream world that we can get out of"
He looks around for a house or something "Besides, if it were your Pokemon that got loose, wouldn't you rather someone get you instead of fighting them" He takes a few slow steps back, never looking the bull in the eyes

With Mica and Dusty acting like that, it seems like the Tauros snaps. It charges directly at Dusty, stumbling a little on Mica's trap, and skidding through the softer earth. This gives Dusty a chance to launch his rocks at the charging bull, striking it on the head, and causing it to stagger. But the bull is hard-headed, and, despite the solid strike, it makes it to the Trapinch, tossing it with its horns. The antlion goes flying, before hitting the ground, unmoving. Snorting, it begins to turn towards Mica and Donovan, before it gets distracted by some movement behind it. It seems as if some other Tauros also want to challenge the interlopers, but the one that just charged - clearly the largest - glowers at them, and they shy back. Apparently this is probably the highest one in the pecking order. Thankfully, it seems too busy cowing the others to do anything else at the immediate moment. Like charge Mica. Donovan spots, not too much farther up the road, a set of structures that looks like they're probably built on the same land as the place where the bovines broke out of. There seems to be a house, a barn, and some other things behind those. Tauros takes damage and Flinches from Rock Slide. Tauros uses Horn Attack. Tauros triggers Gore. One critical hit! Dusty takes 75 damage, 3 injuries, and Faints.

"...Wow... it's really strong." Mica took a step back, clearly a little rattled with how easily the leader had felled Dusty. "Okay... I guess Morganite will have to do this then..." Mica released the Bulbasaur beside her, still staring down the tauros as she recalled Dusty. "I won't let someone shove me around because they're stronger... Morganite, Confusion." She was determined, even if Donovan was scared.

Donovan watched as Dusty was smashed away in a single hit, the Trapinch flying through the air like a ragdoll. His eyes grew wide and he continued to back away "Mica this is stupid. We can't beat all of them. I'm getting help"
He kept backing away until he felt far enough away and then he started running for the buildings. He was sure that the house was owned by the same person as the Tauros and Miltank. They should be able to help....Hopefully Mica could last long enough for him to make it back.

As Donovan begins inching past the herd, and then running for the house, a few of the bovines look up at him, but they seem to be more focused on the fight between the one bull and Mica. Or, rather, the bull and Morganite. The psychic blast causes the bovine to stagger, but it brays and shakes its mane, before once again charging into its opponent. It doesn't seem to manage to get quite the same leverage as last time, only managing to land a solid blow rather than a punishing one, Morganite still up. Tauros takes an injury from Confusion. Morganite takes 38 damage and an injury from Horn Attack.

"Hnnh..." Mica didn't like seeing her Pokemon get hurt, but Donovan was using her presence to go for help. If that's what he thought was best. She felt a little less comfortable when he wasn't right by her, even if he didn't approve of what she was doing.
"It's okay Morganite, I'm here for you, I promised. Concentrate."
Mica will be intercepting the next attack. Morganite uses Confusion.

As Donovan continues running for the building, the Tauros continues charging. Morganite's blast seems to severely weaken it, but it presses on through the pain, ramming its horns into Mica, who'd bravely/foolishly leapt in front of its charge. It snorts, pawing at the ground, though with less ferocity - yet more anger, somehow - than before. Now in essentially a semicircle around the fight, the other Tauros watch antsily, their tails making sharp cracking sounds as they whip through the air. Morganite hits with Confusion. Tauros triggers Gore. Hits one time. Mica takes 25 damage from Horn Attack, is pushed 2m away from Morganite.

Mica had managed to avoid one horn, but the thrashing of the Tauros' hard head had been too quick for her to avoid taking a solid impact from the other, and boy were they sharp. She clamped a hand over the spot that bled and would bruise later from the impact, and gave a determined nod to Morganite.

Clearing her throat after yet another exchange between her Pokemon and the leader of the herd, Mica spoke up clearly and commandingly. "Go home, you're supposed to be eating grass and doing... cow things, not blocking roads and horning people."

Stubborn as it is, the bull seems to simply shrug off Morganite's attack, careening into him, and causing him to fall at last. He gave almost as good as he got, though, the Tauros breathing heavily even as it moos in triumph. From the look in the bull's eyes, Mica can tell that this one at least isn't likely to listen to reason like that. She'd challenged it, and it's certainly not about to back down. Its tails whip through the air as it plants itself steadfastly in the middle of the road, snorting at her. Confusion misses. Morganite takes 32 damage, 2 injuries, and Faints from Horn Attack.

"I can be stubborn too, and you're going to learn. Come on Spot, he has to get tired and listen eventually!" Mica released the little Ledyba who blips softly in distress and flails his 'wriggly grabbers' at the Tauros, Mica lunging in to headbutt it from the side. Both Mica and Spot show heart... but, unfortunately, heart isn'talways enough to get the job done. The Tauros seems to barely even notice their attacks, tossing its head towards the little bug buzzing around - but, thankfully Spot's too nimble for that, and manages to dodge around the lumbering beast. Mica hits with Struggle. Spot hits with Comet Punch. Tauros misses. As Donovan runs closer to the house, there's some motion, and he spots a man riding quickly towards him on a flaming horse, a large canine bounding along beside. When the trio get closer, he glances past Donovan towards where Mica is, and then back at the boy. "Was just coming outside, and I thought I heard some commotion," the man says, before sighing, "I see some of my herd got loose. Troublemakers, the lot of them. I assume that's why you were running. You were lucky the Tauros didn't run you down for bolting. Guess I'll need to go 'round back, see if I can grab Andrew or Brittney to help me 'round them back inside before they get too far away... hope they don't decide to wander off before then."

"We have to be able to do it on our own!" Mica cried out with some stress and frustration, continuing to strike at the Tauros with the assistance of the tiny googly-eyed bug at her side. "There isn't time for that" Donovan yells out as he struggles for breath, quickly realizing how out of shape he really was. He couldn't remember the last time he ran that fast for that long and he could feel it, the air in his lungs burning as it came out.
After another second of struggle he managed to get out what he needed to say "My friend decided to challenge one, the biggest one, and I saw it send her Pokemon flying with one hit. We need to get back right now, I don't know how long she can hold on"
If the man on the horse looked down, Donovans eyes were pleading, tears almost forming in the corners. He couldn't let this happen. He couldn't watch her fall so soon after watching people die again and again. They couldn't stand up to that many Pokemon on their own. Why couldn't she see that they needed help sometimes? Like they did with Axiom.

Working together, Mica and Spot manage to finally hit the Tauros enough to cause it to finally give out. Exhausted at last, it slumps to the ground. Unfortunately for Mica, now that it's no longer holding the other half-dozen Tauros in check, it looks like she might be in for a little bit more than she originally reckoned for. To make matters worse, it looks like there's a couple Miltank eyeing towards the fallen bull. "I see," the man says, looking worried at Donovan mentioning that there's someone there. "Then I'll need a hand from you, son." He reaches for his belt, releasing a Ponyta. "Hop onto Ellie there. You'll need to rile the bulls up somehow, and get them to chase you. On foot they'll just run you down. So, uh, try not to fall off. Arthur and I will try and corral the Miltank into following once they've lost the protection of the Tauros. If your friend's okay, I'll see if she can help there." He looks at Donovan. "Got it? If so, hop on, and let's go. No time to waste." He checks to see that Donovan manages to mount the Ponyta before galloping off, his dog bounding beside him. Athletics or Acrobatics from Donovan.

Donovans eyes went wide and he reached a hand out tentatively, recoiling for a second at the flames before moving forward once again. He couldn't hesitate. He told Mica he was going to get help and then come back. If he didn't do this....no. He wasn't going to think about it. He just had to listen, right? And this man was telling him exactly what to do. Besides, who was equipped better to get something riled up then him? He had done it to Axiom in the dream, he could do it to the Tauros here. Mica was at stake. He closed his eyes once more, praying to something that he could do this, and then went to mount the Ponyta. It was time to be a hero. Donovan got a 12 on his Acrobatics

Mica returned Spot to his ball, if this went as poorly as she expected it might, she didn't want him to get hurt or have to see what happened to her. She glanced towards the sections of unbroken fence to either side of the trail, then at the herd that was working its aggression up. She took a deep breath, and attempted once more to direct them.
"You should all go home, where the grass is green and you're well treated! Not picking on people on the road. The biggest of you wanted you to back off, and he did his best, a really good effort! He lost though, I know that might make you grumpy, but I didn't come here to pick fights, I came here to leave. Please." She gestured to the broken fence and nearby field, and braced for the worst.
