Collecting up the mushrooms most were simply edible, something to eat over the next day or so to help stretch out their rations, however a few were clearly more special, 6 tiny musrooms, 3 big mushrooms and 3 balm mushrooms. They would be much more useful for the trainers as they continued through the coniferous forest, though sadly they weren't aware of what exact effects these mushrooms might have.

"I'm sure we can find a use for these." Zipping up his pack and picking up Prima once more, "come on, let's keep making as much progress as we can before it get's dark."

"If we can see the mountain through the tree tops, we at least know which way we need to keep heading..." Aiden continues walking in the direction they were headed. "Not as cold as I thought it would be in here... but we better stay on our toes so that we don't have another accident like we had with the Colony of Bug Pokemon." His eyes move through the darkening woods as he tries to find any Pokemon. "Hmm, I still wonder what species of Pokemon those were that ran away from us."

Though the forest wasn't necessarily cold, there was still a chill compared to the temperature that they had encountered out on the plains or beach. The forest was fairly thick and dark, concealing most of the sky and much of the path through it, there was a dampness in the air that probably explained the mushrooms and other fungi that they saw as well. Sadly, they could not pick out the top of the mountains, meaning that they would find that more tough to find, even as they headed deeper and deeper into the forest. The entrance had disappeared behind them quite a way ago, and now they only heard the sounds of the river running somewhere nearby and the occasional call of something living nearby, in fact, it seemed very quiet indeed.

"You know, over all, this has been a fun adventure. It's pretty fast paced, but aside for the bug struggle, it's been exciting. Bears, rebels; really gets the blood pumping."
Genki stroked the top of Primia's head as he tromped through the woods stepping over brambles and other unsure footing.

"I know right? The last few days has been so... hectic, but fun," smiles Aiden towards the brothers trying to make sure he doesn't lose his footing. Stepping over roots, brambles, and rocks without slipping. "The sounds and sights here are so beautiful. I wonder what the depths of this forest hold for us. Think any other trainers have made it this far yet?"

"There's so much island, how could they not? Though," planting his foot, "I may be the first trainer, or person, to ever step here. Kinda cool."

"Now this is my kind of environment. Dark, looming, ominous. A chill runs through the spine wondering what could be out there." Cole grinned, staring into the dense woodland. "I doubt anyone else has been here yet. We were the first humans the bug Pokemon earlier had encountered, it stands to reason that this ground has likewise never been touched by humans."

Continuing through the forest, the group eventually arrived at what appeared to be a small clearing, one formed by six particularly large trees that ringed the area and kept it in almost complete shade limiting all growth. The ground also appeared to be completely clear of any debris and detritus, as if it had been cleared very efficiently. Of course, this allowed for the three tents that were in the clearing to sit on the ground comfortably, ringed around a small extinguished campfire with a few pans laid next to it. These were clearly not natural inhabitants of the forest.

"So much for being the first ones to make it out this far." Genki spirits were only slightly dashed, replaced with the intrest of the tents inhabitants.
"At least we know it's fairly safe to sleep in this clearing, UNLESS THE WERE CARRIED AWAY BY BEES!"

"Hello?" calls Aiden once they were in the clearing. "Well, if we get carried away by bees, we know to be kind to them at least... Think they're foraging in the forest?" Approaching the campsite, Aiden crouches down at the fire pits to see how long ago they had burned.

Aiden called out, but received no reply. In fact, the clearing seemed very quiet, even compared to the tranquility of the rest of the forest. Looking at the fire, Aiden could tell that it had been out for at least four or five hours, perhaps longer- maybe some sort of breakfast fire, and it showed signs of having been put out at least sevreal times before, perhaps previous days and nights.

"Doesn't seem like anyone's been here for a few hours," murmurs Aiden crouching down and looking at the fire. "It's been doused and reignited several times, so I'm guessing this is a home base for the Trainers. I wonder why'd they leave their stuff behind... is it just me or is it a little too quiet? The forest has it's odd sound every once in a while, but it sounds like this area is being avoided."

"Could be bees!" using a spooky voice and wiggling his fingers like a Drowzee.
"Maybe they are in trouble," he shrugged, "or they though no one else would be around, just like us."
Genki thought Aiden was being somewhat over cautious, but then again... a bit of caution wasn't always harmful.
"You want to wait around here, or look around for them?"
Taking a lap around the perimeter of the clearing, Genkin looked for any signs of trainers, or for cautions sake, a struggle.

Genki explored the perimeter of the clearing but found only a few tracks of indeterminate age, anywhere from a few hours to a few days. They appeared to be rugged boots or other outdoor gear, though not of a common heritage or make. There were no sounds coming even from the edge of the clearing, as if the entire area was being avoided.

"Should we wait around for them? Or find another spot to set up camp?" asks Aiden looking to the others. "This is still a bit strange though..." he shrugs, "The fact that none of the Pokemon have come to the area to investigate out of curiosity is a little odd, but not unheard of. I tend to be more on the cautious side, but understand if you want to move on."

"I don't see any signs of foul play. I wouldn't want to use their equipment but it seems like there is enough room for us to pitch our own tents and spend the night here."

"If we set up our tents over there, we should be fine. Hell, it'd be nice to meet some of the other trainers on this island too! Maybe their Pokemon will need healed when they get back," says Aiden as he points to a decently sized empty spot that could fit their tents. "We could also get the fire going again for them?"

As they began to move about, setting up ready to camp, the group heard the sounds of some of what was presumably the original occupants, returning to the clearing. They were not particularly loud, and in fact they even seemed to be much quieter than the trainers had assumed their contemporaries would be, as if they were used to travelling in such settings and also experienced in not making large amounts of noise. A few moments later and the trainers emerged, a small group wearing gear that clearly marked them out as the outdoorsy type with plenty of pockets, well-stocked backpacks and sturdy shoes. Each of them carried some sort of bag that appeared to be filled up, though with what was an uncertainty at this moment.

"Hello," calls Aiden with a joyous hint in his voice. "I was worried something had happened... My name is Aiden Martin, an adventuring doctor." He stops setting up and turns to the previous occupants. "I hope your outing was successful?"
