The Sheriff leads the group and their captured bandits into his office. On the way there, they catch a glimpse of a large building labeled "Ratoon Museum of Paleontology & Pokemon Gym", and more distant, a saloon and the Pokemon Mart and Pokemon Center drive.google.com/file/d/1sh8fHFT_dpK6LOnwB2A7Y7HOC-56E6gU/view?usp=sharingSheriff: I'm gonna try ta revive these bandits and interrogate 'em; maybe we can learn something. I'm taking their guns and ammo, but y'all can have their cash. Meanwhile have some fun around here in Ratoon; it's sure ta be at least a bit more exciting 'n Spike Weed!

Wally: Sheriff, we'd like to go ahead and start that background check process, please, so you can see that we're all good people who can be trusted with firearms to only use them in self defense. The two gentlemen from Spike Weed, here, could especially use the weapons, as their small town suffers when it's cut off from the rest of the world by people like those bandits.

Sheriff: Yeah good point. I also need to look into where they got these weapons, and whether they oughta be returned there, but Ponce and Daniel can certainly stay here and get checked out. You kids should run along now. Check out the museum; it's interesting!
[OOC: The museum interior is in progress, but I need a bit more time to prepare it. I have some college obligations now. Still, it shouldn't take more than a day or so.]

Wally: Yes, sir. Professor Oat, Ponce, we can't thank you enough for your help. Would you gentlemen like your share of the money recovered from the bandits?

Daniel Oak: I would like that very much! Let's all split it four ways, so we each get P500, if that's ok with you.
Sam: I'm good with that. Now Wally, how about we go to that museum/gym? I'm not sure what all is in there, but it can't hurt to look...unless there's somehow a living T-rex in there, but there wouldn't be, right?

Wally: Here you go, Professor Oat. Here you go, Ponce. Bye, guys. Hope we can hang again soon.
[Outside]
Wally: And here you go, Sam. I think visiting the museum/gym is a fine idea, but first how about we use the Pokémon Center, where we can finally heal our Pokémon properly and for free? After being in a town without one, I sure have a newfound appreciation for them. And after that, I'd actually like to head back to that mine. Remember that mine? Remember how there was a pool of water we couldn't do anything with? Well, we have Water-types now, so we can go check out that pool properly.
[OOC: Add the 500 for me, please, if you haven't already. How goes the quest for another player?]

Sam: You're right, Wally; that's a good idea. We'll heal and stock up, and then head back to see such things.
[OOC: I asked him today; he said he should have more time next week. I'm actually glad you're postponing the gym visit, since he's planning on being an Ace Trainer and thus would probably be more inclined towards battles.]

Wally: Thanks, Sam. Okay, let's get healed. I don't have anything I want to buy right now. I'm saving up for Leftovers. After you're done shopping I'm ready to head that way.

Sam buys two more Basic Balls.
Sam: I think I want to train up my Zubat a bit in the mine. Whom do you want to use, Wally?

Sam and Wally arrive at the Museum. drive.google.com/file/d/1LmAil4em-Tpf5UWWI37Okx3gbQpHCPXe/view?usp=sharingImmediately, a man in brown is there to greet them at the ticket gate. Doug: Well hello there, boys! I had heard there were aspiring young Pokemon trainers coming, so I got ready to greet you! I'm Dr. Doug Rockwell, and I'm the gym leader of Ratoon and curator of this museum.

Wally: Hi there, Dr. Rockwell. Thanks for meeting us. We'd love to have a look around. They go and collect the balls. [ OOC: I count 7 in the water chamber and other parts of the mine, combined. I added 7 tentatively to Wally's sheet; not being sure if you added any back yourself. Please let me know.] Yes, the mine has 7 total across all rooms. You added 7 balls to what Wally already had? That means he had 5 before you updated it to 12, right? Okay, then what I've done is take it back down to 5 and create a separate line in the "Other" item section just for the broken balls. Wally needs to make rolls first for each one to see if it is repaired. If you'd like to handle that, it's a 1d20 plus his Crafting skill Total (7), and if it is 16 or better, the ball is fixed. If it's 15 or under, the ball is a lost cause and should be discarded.

Doug: Oh; there absolutely are; if I say so myself--and I do say so myself, since I designed them! You've got to pay the admission fee of P600, though.

Wally: That sure is a steep price for a museum admission, with all due respect. I could buy an Absorb Bulb, a Cell Battery, and two Oran Berries for that and still have a little left over. Any reason it's so expensive?

Doug: Fossil-hunting is a demanding job, and so is cloning. I need the cash to help fund these endeavors. If this helps, you don't need to pay the admission fee to challenge me to a battle. Still, if you want to get into the museum and can't afford that, perhaps you can help me with the excavation, instead. You interested in that?
