Sorry, I used place as a bit of a flavour term. Like in golf, when you hit a beautiful shot on a par 3, sometimes you'd say you just placed the ball right on the green. I still wanted Justin to throw it. Didn't realise how confusing it could sound.

I get that. Let's just not utilize opportunity attacks since we aren't using a map and tokens. I can already guarantee you that the opponents won't ever use them against you.
spike, Brandy doesn't have to delay again. After delaying once, that sets her new permanent initiative at whatever point she acted, so she'll go after Asa from now on each round unless she delays some more, or delays enough to arrive at the very top of the initiative for the following round.

Apologies for the lack of posting. We just had a near -40 cold snap that ground the town to a halt, and two power lines, one of them important to my home, was broken due to heavy icing on the line. At the very least I dont have to worry about food spoiling as I can keep it in the frozen garage. Power should be up tomorrow at my house, but I'm staying at a friends with power for tonight so I do not freeze my ass off.
Again, apologies for my Canadian weather.

While we wait, I'll go ahead and hand out the posting rewards for the week. Another week where I didn't have to NPC any of you! So everyone gets a reward. For anyone wondering how I'm deciding what you get, I'm not! I'm using the "Truly Random Find" generator in the Daily Pickup Ability section of the Pokémon Treasure Tracker Google Sheet. The only bit of "cheating" I'm doing is trying again if your result returns as "Nothing". You have to get something, and you get whatever your first non-Nothing result is, so sometimes the rewards may seem unbalanced, but just know that next week it could be you who receives the big-winner item while your friends just get a Tier 1 Berry, lol. So. The following items just "appear" in your backpacks: Asa gets an Energy Powder. Bo gets Safety Goggles. Justin gets a Pinap Berry.

Leg, I asked on the main forums if Flourish could be applied to Mud-Slap to lower Accuracy by an additional point on a critical hit. They didn't even get as far as telling me whether Accuracy could technically count as one of the Stats that Flourish's effect covers, instead pointing out that Flourish - and, to a larger extent, Trickster as a whole - is about using non-damaging Status-class Moves, and would not activate on damaging Moves, meaning that, even on a crit, Mud-Slap would not lower the target's Accuracy by an additional point, nor does it ignore non-Stat evasion at all. That's the first issue. The second is that I need to stress again the importance of posting in initiative order. Bo and Botshba do not act one after the other. There's a pair of Grunts in between them. One is out of the fight but one is still around. I know it's a pain posting like that but it'll save us the trouble of retconning stuff. For example, what if, after you go ahead and post for Botshba, the Grunt knocks him out? You'd still have to post again to say what actually happens instead of Botshba's action, which now no longer takes place. Check the initiative list and only post for the character whose immediate turn it is, please. I've been doing what I can to keep Botshba from being targeted, that way we don't run into any need to retcon, but in that end that's unfair and I don't want to do that in future combats.
tl;dr - Flourish can't be used with Mud-Slap and please only post for the character whose immediate turn it is.

You have unlocked "Wally". From now on, Wally will be traveling around Tevorah, catching Pokémon. You'll get Pokédex unlocks each time Wally catches something. He tends to catch the most Pokémon on the weekends.
Wally also acts as your ace-in-the-hole. If you ever find yourself in a truly scary situation, you can use your Pokédex to possibly summon him and save your hide. It's not totally guaranteed, though.

I’d never thought of utilizing an npc like that, clever. I’ll tuck that away for future use.
On to the next topic, the addition sync and milestone = 2 level ups?

Quick query as I am writing my post. This is a Mining town correct? If so, would it be too late for me to find the Professor of the town, (or whomever is controlling the min) and perhaps sweet talk him for some access to some of the chemicals they may have laying around at the lab?
SCREW IT! LAB HO!

So, a few questions: 1. Do Pokemon Centers have ways of healing people that stay there, or just Pokemon? (Specifically healing injuries) 2. Is it cool that I'm just converting money directly into scrap? I figured it wouldn't be a problem since we're in town. 3. Would a trainers combat class be something worth taking? It seems like our characters getting targeted might not be so uncommon, so I was thinking about it. Plus, Aura Guardian would be really cool for Justin, and pretty fitting I think.

I am planning myself to do some Psuedo-combat via Chemistry for Pester Balls, and picking a dip in the Capture Specialist for boosts to 'Throwing balls' which applies to Pester balls. However, I need to know myself, how throwing a Pester Ball works with the new 'Capture Mechanics', in addition to how it effects just Pokemon Capture with the capture specialist

While not direct combat, Asa will be able to target you both with orders in a few levels and provide cheerleader bonuses.

1. PokéCenters can heal people just as easily as Pokémon, including any and all Injuries. 2. It's cool. 3. Wild Pokémon, unscrupolous characters, and full-contact match Trainers who you've agreed to fight can all target you instead of your Pokémon if they want to, so use that info to decide if you'd like to have a combat class of your own to try and offset that threat. Differences to Capture Specialist due to the New Capture Rules and the lack of an Accuracy Roll in capture attempts:Once you have Curve Ball, throwing a Poké Ball for the sole purpose of capturing a Pokémon still will not require an Accuracy Roll. However, throwing a ball with intent to do damage with it or inflict a status ailment at any point in time will still require the AC 6 Status Attack roll.
Captured Momentum's second option (You subtract your highest Skill Rank out of Acrobatics, Athletics, Stealth, Survival, Guile, or Perception from your next Capture Roll during this combat.) is replaced with the following: You add your highest Skill Rank out of Acrobatics, Athletics, Stealth, Survival, Guile, or Perception, divided by half and rounded down, to your next Capture Roll during this combat.
Gotta Catch 'Em All's Frequency changes from [Daily x3 - Swift Action] to [Static], and its new Effect is as follows: Every time you Capture a Wild Pokémon that is a member of an evolutionary family of which you own no other Pokémon, you gain 1 Collector Stack. Whenever you make a Capture Roll, you may spend up to three Collector Stacks to gain an equal bonus to your Capture Roll, or you may spend three Collector Stacks to re-roll entirely.
Snare's -10 becomes a +1.
Tools of the Trade's +2 is still handy, since there are now times when you might need to make an Accuracy Roll with Poké Balls, but its +2 to Athletics Checks to reel in fishing rods is useless. Trainers can auto-reel in rods with 100% success. Its +4 bonus to 1d20 rolls to see if Pokémon are attracted by Bait or a Fishing Lure is also useless. Lures are unnecessary, as just fishing with a rod will 100% hook something, and Bait is not needed either because to encounter a wild Pokémon all you need to do is use a Daily Event. However, Bait is still semi-useful because it can trigger Snare.
Catch Combo and False Strike both remain useless, as they are rendered unnecessary by my House Rule of all wild Pokémon retaining 1 HP by default.

Justin caught a Shinx.
Check out the 'Mod' column of the 'Poké Balls & Accessories' section of the 'Inventory' tab. Right now, the info displayed there is incorrect. We're all going to do something about that as a group. Step 1 is to go up top and click 'View'. Go down to 'Hidden Sheets' and find 'Inv Data'. Click it to un-hide it and make it appear as one of your tabs.
