Hey there everybody.
Let's see how this format usually goes.
About me I am a 20 year old Law School Student currently living in Edinburgh, Scotland. I am pretty easy going, and have a LOT going on; however, I also tend never to sleep and writing is always a fun passtime! For anybody who feels so inclined, Seya has called me Lohloh for about 6 years now, and you are welcome to. I enjoy fiction but don't have much time to read or watch it anymore with my mountain of law book reading, and I'd very much like to get into RPing again, as it has been about 2 years since I last even wrote a post (cry). I also am a big lover of DnD... now to find a campaign.
General Roleplay Experience I do not have a ton I'll be honest, though I was a senior moderator on a site called Requiem of Ages, which Seya also created, back in the day. I have written a bit, and generally love story telling, though I tend to do it orally more than online simply out of not having a wide range of opportunities! I played two characters on RoA, one was a Gentleman of very traditional values. He owned a bar, was built like a tank and had the love of his life fighting by his side... also a wee pet that was just adorable. The other character was a conniving slug of a man. For visual, think Wormtongue from Lord of the Rings. His life was spent trying to make others miserable and he was always plotting, though he never had the backbone to stand up and be seen as a threat.
PTU experience I am going to say none. I had the starts of a character back in the day but never went anywhere with it. May try to revive him here! I am very willing to learn and take advice very well.
PBP Experience See above in RP experience. Was also thrown into the role of being a DM for a flat-wide DND campaign. Spent a lot of hours worldbuilding, but unfortunately the game fell through the cracks.
Me as a Player I am like to ask many questions. I want to understand everything about everything, so I am sorry if I ask a bit too much! I post like a madman at times. I try and never leave it more than 24 hours to respond to a post. Sometimes that falls down a bit, but I also make it a habit to inform anybody involved in a thread if I won't be able to respond promptly for whatever reason. At a very good part, I try and respond within the hour. I will likely play the beginning a bit safer as I get to understand the rules, but once I get going, things will likely become very interesting! I tend to play male characters, but have always wanted to play a female. I think my then-teenage brain was always just worried about somebody turning around and saying something like "That is NOT what women are like." Ha. ha.
ha.
I used to be the worst for trying to build up the character to be the best in everything, but I have recently been drafting some ideas for characters with interesting flaws. I don't know how pokemon tabletop works, but in DnD type RPs I tend to start with strength-builds and go for a melee fighter, then move towards people based on charisma and/or intelligence. THAT BEING SAID, I am always excited to try out new stuff.
