So since this seems to be a place where a lot of people are doing pbp stuff now, I thought I'd make this thread in case anyone was interested in using a premade medieval setting for a game. Aatos is a full functional medieval Pokemon world not based on any canon region. To my knowledge, there have been 8+ games run in the setting aside from what I've GM'd personally and a fan-made world map hundreds of times better than my own, so it's seen some love outside of personal use - which makes me feel better about the ridiculous amount of time I've put into it (along with the small army of helpers who've held my hand along the way).
Currently the setting includes
It's pretty vast, but I'm very happy with it. Some people feel lost wading through it due to its size, so I made a handy Guide for Potential GMs to point them in the direction of various hooks I've left lying around and styles of play that I think fit well in the setting.
I always welcome feedback, and I hope you enjoy the wild ride! I know I have!

Currently the setting includes
- Writeups on 18 countries and 6 geographic features large enough to be considered on par with a continent. Most have enough information for you to dive into play, although some are more thoroughly worked on than others.
- 13 fully statted fakemon and a mechanical rework of another 3 cannon pokemon (I'm particularly happy with how Rotom turned out)
- 1 Homebrew class and 6 class archetypes for spins on classes
- 4 Pokemon Templates to account for some of the unique variations in Pokemon throughout the world
- Mechanical frameworks for Jousting, Coliseum Battles, and a Noble Hunt
- Numerous random writeups on portions of the world I found particularly interesting, meaning you'll find detailed information on a single bounty hunting guild or the thieves of a particular country because I felt like it.
