Thinking over his question of whether he should do that or not, Sam couldn’t help but chuckle some at the idea “Always about the efficiency, though to be honest I don’t blame you wanting to do that. I would say: do it. After all they’d still get to see you, and you can do your own thing as well.”
Blinking some at his offer to visit his family, she did look like she was definitely considering it. It was like he had said; all the coordinators were heading the same direction. Meaning lots of competition and not much opportunity for individual growth. Every once in a while she’d glance towards his phone screen as they talked. “Well, we could both travel together, that would put us both in Meadowton at the same time. And we could compete for some of the wild pokemon we see,” she added the last part with a serious look before grinning some. Then finishing off “Or help each other out with finding some of the best ones.”
Giving some nods about a lot of people being more on the Ralts Train, though she hadn’t really imagined herself picking a psychic pokemon as her starter, she had no doubt that the pokemon was going to be a great companion. “I figured that I would take a shot at doing both, and then go with whichever felt right. No need to pidgey-hole myself into one path. Who knows, I could be great at battles and contests!” she replied with a determined look in her eyes. At the mention of the Oshawott being his, Sam had a look of disbelief on her face, before sighing some as he said that it was a joke. “Oh geez, you have to be careful. Roselyn doesn’t need any more reasons to tease,” she told him with a light elbow into his arm.
“Oooh, a Nidoran. Very solid choice! And he seems friendly enough too, should be good when you add more to your team. If you do want to travel together I wouldn’t complain really, better to have company, ya know,” she stated after her thoughts on the purple pokemon.
