three years passed by rather quickly and Greg Warden, the former gang member of the Road Hogs, would soon be heading into a new chapter of his life, with a little (or maybe not little) Pokemon at his side. That surely did not sound too different from him having underlings in the past. As Greg went back to his room for the night, he saw a bag hanging on his doorstep. Many students were excited about their "starter bag" but the college had this strict rules that no one could show or even tell anybody else about they saw in their own file, so it was the quite kind of exciting all over the hall when Greg passed them by.
Opening the file inside his room(or outside in any place he wanted), Greg would find a small note and three individual files inside the bag. Each individual file has all the written details of the Pokemon and also plenty of pictures of that Pokemon doing various things in the barn.

Hello, mister Greg Warden and pardon the "mister", I can rarely use that word in my letters to the students and I always wanted to use it, haha. As you probably know by now, I am Seebass, and no need to call me professor now, you will not be a student anymore soon enough and I always see alumni as equal. People might judge you by your look and your size, but me and all the Terrakion know what is underneath your look. Heart, is something we believe in and you certainly have a big one. Remembr three years ago in your first Pokemon Handling class, you were scaring Pokemon around and had no idea what to do with them. I was like "Wow, how did this man pass the entrance test?" but now, you are at least decent with it.

Option 1
Ledyba, M
Height: 3' 3"
Weight: 24.2lbs
The first Pokemon for you is a Ledyba bred by our own programme. You might ask "why would I want to take this little Bug for a starter?" Well, this "little bug" has the biggest fist you will ever see in a Ledyba. A simple measurement test tells us that his fist size, width, circumference, thickness and such are all at the 95th to 99th percentile of every Ledyba ever recorded. Just like you, this thing is a freak of nature and can be trained to become one heck of a puncher.
Coincidentally, he also enjoys action movies, especially the superhero subgenre. His favorite superhero is Captain Kalos, the blue superhero with a star-shaped logo(Kalos) on its shield and the leader of The Guardians. In the ranch, he spent a fair share of his time roleplaying and fighting with other Pokemon with similar interest. Don't ask me why but the Terrakion ranch has a lot of Pokemon who like action movies and LARPing them. He doesn't like the eastern kind of superhero though, like Kamen Rider for instance, and finds them to be an insult to insects, so don't ever mention those names in front of him.
Emulating his life based on his idol, this Ledyba sees himself as the protector of the weak. He solved a lot of arguments and fights in the ranch. Of course, he got hit and lost multiple times, especially when he tried to take on many on his own, like a true hero, but not the smartest decision in real life. He enjoys helping anyone in need, human or Pokemon, and actually has a decent handle on law and justice as a Pokemon.
For his battle style, the school has taken extra time to train him to utilize his God-given hands to box. As someone who is very good in combat classes, I am sure you can teach this young hero-tobe a thing or two and become a good fighting duo together.

Option 2
Teddiursa, M
Height: 1' 3"
Weight: 14.3lbs
For option two, we have a very cute Teddiursa. I have to put start this profile with "very cute" because frankly, this Teddiursa doesn't have too much else going for him. He is undersized, rather lazy, fights sloppily and does not seem like he care enough to work hard. The two logical reasons I can come up on why someone would take this little fellow are one, he is too cute to resist and you see him as a fun little companion for your adventure; two, you feel he has the potential to be better and you think you have the handle to mold him into one. And for you specifically, this little Teddiursa can be a good ice breaker so you can have an easier time socializing with other trainers and such in your journey. Never discount the importance of social skill, especially when you are a traveler going around the region, as you can get more information and service by asking others than trying to do everything by yourself.
This Teddiursa is still very young and would likely stay in the ranch for another year if not for his owner's driven will to put him up for distrubition. Maybe no one really sees the value in him so we ended up taking him. Not like I am trying to sit up troubles here but I really think the teachers responsible for getting Pokemon from ranches should have been more selective, not just trying to take any Pokemon available because we are Terrakion and can work with anything.
Due to his young age, he is still a baby when it comes to behavior and a spoiled one at that. He can be selfish at times and occasionally shows his clever side in the wrong way. In sparring battles, his favorite job is to go in late, clean up and take all the credits without doing all the hardworks (and again, he is lazy). If you move him in early, he will act as if he was badly hurt from some very weak attacks just so he can rest and let others take on his role.
As smart and lazy as he can be, he can be easily manipulated by honey. If science eventually discover "Honey" as a Pokemon type, he will be done in one hit by any Honey Pokemon. Material encouragement is the best method to deal with his lazy ass, just say you will get honey after the training and he will be working really hard. Make sure to give him the treat afterward though, you cannot build trust with lies.
I think this one can be a fun companion for you in your adventure and probably closest to a father and son relationship if you ever want to have one of those. Also, Teddiursa's record shows that it can learn a whole bunch of moves so not too bad of a Pokemon from a career's perspective, as long as you can make him work for you. Otherwise, you can find a better fit on other options. Don't worry about him, I am sure one of the girls will take him on the second rotation.
Oh, one more thing, he is afraid of darkness and ghost, so you really have to be his father at night. I guess you can use ghost to scare him to work instead of the honey bait, but I would not recommend using too much of these method, it's not very healthy to the Pokemon's mental state.

Nature: Brave/Proud/Adamant/Quirky/Hardy
Ability: Pickup is more appropriate since I imagined him being lazy and love to dig around for stuffs rather than training and fighting
Background: Baby Bear - Using his cute charm to exploit people's kindness
Increased: Charm/Guile/Survival(Knows how to manipulate so he can get work done without working himself;keen sense in the wild, known to find honey on his own)
Decrease: Combat/Intimidate/Command(Too cute to scare anything; has shown little interest in battling and training)
Established
Honey Enthusiast - Retain the Honey Gather capability even after evolving into Ursaring
Hidden Potential?! - So, this Teddiursa has some sort of secret power? Maybe yes, maybe no, take him at your own risk because I am not telling.

Option 3
Mienfoo, F
Height: 3' 3"
Weight: 47lbs
The last option is a Mienfoo, arguably the perfect type for you since you score very high marks in all your combat classes. I don't have too many Fighting Pokemon in my hand so I can only give you this one and I do think that it fits you perfectly. Mienfoo's fighting style is quite the opposite of yours, the "Yin" of your "Yang" in a way, as she utilizes precise strikes and agility in her form of fighting instead of the power-first approach of yours. Perhaps with enough sparring between you both, the both of you will find the real meaning of both power and finesse and utilize both sides of the spectrum in your fighting.
This super tall Mienfoo is well-disciplined and trains herself (with no need of any human encouragement or input) everyday at 6AM, believing that the only way to become a great martial artist is through hardwork, a lot of hardwork. Aside from her interest in martial art, she is also a fan of gymnastics and her best friends in the ranch are acrobatic Pokemon like Chimchar and they will do some type of obstacle course around the ranch in their free time.
While she is a capable fighter, she can be too serious for her own good. She does not see playing around as a good use of her time and hates childish behavior of other Pokemon. So, if you have a lot of playful Pokemon, she will not blend with the team and might even cause some troubles trying to stop others from playing and being too noisy around her. She does not know how to relax either so taking her out on field trip is just setting you on the path of disappointment when she shows zero interest in whatever fun you planned for her.
In short, great fighter but can use a cup of "why so serious?" or two in her life. Definitely take this if you are very serious about climbing the league but not if you care about the quality of your free time spent with her. She is probably more suited for the Cobalion type of people but eh, we are not giving them this sweet thing for free. I think this one is better for you than the younger trainers because you have the life experience on your side and can understand this Mienfoo's side of thing. Also, you probably don't mind not having fun with your Pokemon as much as other trainers so I give them those who are more playful.

Ability: Any but I think Inner Focus fits the 'Zen' theme better
Background: Devoted workaholic - Play? Chatting? Who have time for that?
Increased: Focus/Combat/Acrobatics(Ultra-killer machine, wired to train and fight)
Decrease: Charm/Command/Stealth(Not friendly, selfish and uncaring of others, stealth is a waste of time)
Established
Self-Motivated Training - Mienfoo will train for an hour on 6AM - 7AM everyday when she can. This training does not count toward the daily Experience Training. The same Experience Training formula is used but Mienfoo use her own Focus instead of the trainer's Command Rank to determine the bonus EXP gain. Mienfoo will only gain 50% of the final total. Mienfoo will be very upset if something keeps her from performing this training everyday.
