"Cause I know how to get the job done. Let's go, Cassie." And with that, the two sprint off - they know that Jenny probably won't be out for long, so they need to hurry before she comes to.
As they run, Tully muses aloud. "Right, best thing to do right now'd be get outta dodge before they come after us. But..." He pauses, both to think and breathe, "those two... could sure use 'em on our side. And if they get caught..." He shakes his head and growls a little. "I tell ye, Cassie, this bein' a good guy business ain't easy. Hope it ain't too habit-formin'"
Cassie gives a half-sarcastic, half-sympathetic squawk as the two turn as they run, heading to the area Tully met the Zoroark and Inkay before - it'd be a while before Officer Jenny could get that info the guy who found him and that'd hopefully give them enough time to pick up a trail of some kind.

After a bit a running, Tully hears a familiar and unsettling voice. "Going away now? Too slow." Officer Jenny, standing earlier than anyone expected approaches Tully and Cassie. She takes a stance where her extended hand stays and arms length away from Cassie. She doesn't seem too shaken from the previous attack at all, but you notice her eyes squinting the whole time.

"Was plannin' on it." Tully says, keeping his eye on Officer Jenny. "Didn't wanna hurt ya too bad. Only doin' yer job, after all. Trouble is, I ain't plannin' on rottin' in jail while the world goes to crap." He doesn't mention that he wouldn't be planning on it even if the world wasn't in danger - he figures that's best left out of the conversation. "And if it comes down to a choice between you and the world, well, that ain't no choice at a-."
He stops abruptly as an unwanted face flashes through his mind. He blinks rapidly, trying to dispel it for a moment before breathing, clenching his fist and deciding to face it. "I don't wanna hurt you, officer. Really don't wanna do anythin'... permanent. But if you wanna start a fight, well, I ain't gonna hold back if it turns out you can't finish it. You gotta learn the take the consequences of yer actions, whether you win or lose. So you wanna fight, we'll fight." He drops a knife into his hand and holds it in a ready pose. "And I ain't gonna let the worry about what could happen stop me from fightin'."
After a moment, he smiles. "By the way, if that's you, Zoroark, now'd be real good time to let me know. If it ain't, well, like I said..." he locks eyes with Officer Jenny, "what happens next is up to you."

Officer Jenny buckles over in a snickering fit. She drops to her knees and her laughter turns into yips and barks. She gets up and walks over to a nearby tree and pulls a bag from behind it. "Bored, let's go *yip*!" Zoroark says as they go back to where Officer Jenny was.

Tully snorts in amusement and lowers the knife. He begins to turn around before realising that the Zoroark is going back towards town.
"Er," he hurries a little to catch up to him, "don't mean to step on your toes or nothin', but you sure we should be goin' back there? If nothin' else, I kinda left the lady yer lookin' like unconscious in the middle o' the street, so I don't think she'll be happy to see us. And she knows there's a shape shifter runnin' around, so... You got a plan?"

Zoroark says nothing to Tully as they continue to walk where Officer Jenny was. They both peek around the corner of a nearby building, waiting for the awakened and irate officer to get off the walkie talkie. "We want to drive back to the city, she mentioned a car. What was your idea by the way?" Inkay delivers to Tully from inside the bag.

My idea? My idea was to just run away from this town and never look back. Still, gotta admit, a car'd be nice to have. Can't drive myself, but if you can, I should be able to hotwire it. Still, gotta find it first.
He thinks for a few seconds before whispering out loud. "Hmm, wish we could ask Cassie to do an aerial sweep, but this lady's seen her, she'll be on the lookout for her. Well, if she does have a car, probably gonna be around the police station. Means we'll have to go real close to the Pyroar's den, but that's probably the place to start lookin'"

Zoroark, still disguised as Officer Jenny, shrugs at Tully's idea. She scans over the real Jenny and declares that she doesn't have car keys on her. He spats out a few unintelligible words and they proceed to the police station.
After a few minutes of speed walking, the four have arrived at the police station. Zoroark keeps walking forward with her hands swinging to a tune.

Tully hums, thinking about the situation. The police station's garage would be hard to break into - even if it had a physical lock (which most didn't in favour of electronic controls), picking it would take way too long and with way too much visibility. That meant they had to use the entrance inside the station.
He gulps, looking around. It's a small town, so there's probably one other person there at most and, what's more, it's the last place the real Officer Jenny would look for them (for a little while, at least). Still, they couldn't assume it was or would remain empty.
At a loss for what to do, he puts his hands down behind him and keeps the handcuffs up his sleeve - when he walks in, it'll look either like he's been cuffed or he's just got his hands casually behind his back. If needed, he can always slip the cuffs on before anyone tries to look closer. Steadying himself and putting on an ambiguous face, he walks with Zoroark through the door.

The two enter the pokemon center and see three attendants in the main room. The sides of the walls are decorated in newspaper and waiting benches. The actual jail cells are in the same room as the lobby as if the guest can interact with the detained like a mini petting zoo. There is one door all the way in the back of the room that says "EXIT" and a another door hanging on the left. That one is closest to Tully and the reception desk.
"Oh! Welcome back Ms. Jenny! You look more cheerful than you sounded on the phone a while ago!" A girl says as she raises her head out of a book.
"Is this the guy? He gave you a hard time." One of the boys says as he comes out of his cleaning mode. He glances over Tully and starts snickering. The other boy turns his head for a quick peek, then resumes cleaning.
"Don't make fun of him deputy!" The girl says scoldingly. They all appear to wear the same officer's uniform. "Should I call the main office that you apprehended this criminal? I'm sure he could stay here for a while."
Zoroark, who is caught off guard by this whole scenario, pauses for a moment and whispers, "No. Need car, now" she demanded. Unfazed, the female attendant hands Zoroark the keys and tells her to drive safely. Now that she has retrieved the keys, Zoroark is now at a loss for where the car is now as she stares blankly in the room.
"Ms. Jenny?" One of the boys say as they attempt to break the trance.

"Yeah, she's right, officer," Tully says in his best desperate-criminal voice, to distract everyone from Zoroark, "it's like I said, you don't gotta take me anywhere, I'll just stay here." He takes a long look at the jail cells, making sure people notice him eying up the locks and calculating how he can pick or break them. "I mean, I know you wanna get to trial as quick as possible, but I promise, I ain't gonna go anywhere. C'mon, whaddaya say?" He lets the silence sit for a moment, long enough for everyone to register silence but before anyone actually thinks to break it, before sighing. "Yeah, yeah, okay, let's just go, get this thing over with - this way?"
He walks towards the garage door, knowing that Zoroark will follow. As he goes, he makes the people around him get a good look at his left wrist, where he's redone the handcuffs, while keeping his right wrist hidden in his coat, where he's holding the undone handcuff closed with his hand.

Zoroark gives Tully a push further toward the door=a bit harder than he was physically comfortable with.
They arrive the car within the garage which Zoroark hastily unlocks. It looks like a regular police cruiser decorated with a terminal laptop and a few other technologies.
Roll General Ed: Tech to remotely understand what these devices are
The garage doors are ready to be opened at any time. Zoroark takes the passenger seat and sets her head outside the window.

Tully's eyes widen as he sees Zoroark get in the passenger seat. He ducks down and gets into the drivers seat, looking at Zoroark warily.
"Thought you were gonna... you know what, fine, but if we crash and die, I ain't takin' the blame."
He puts the key in the ignition and starts it, gulping as he puts his foot on the accelerator. Looking at his passengers one final time, he takes the car out of the garage and turns down the street, pointing it towards the nearest city and setting off.

Within the cruiser, Tully sees a computer terminal, a CB Radio, siren on/off, gps, and plate and speed recognition systems. The radio turns on automatically which he and Zoroark tune in on. It seems that Officer Jenny is returning to the station, and the deputies joke much to her disbelief. After few seconds of violent convincing they realize the cop was not joking around and they gave the police cruiser away to someone else. Jenny demands that they switch channels in fear of Tully listening.
The radio falls silent, Zoroark shrieks a bit. Not toward the fear of Officer Jenny, but because Tully is about to rear-end a car that's slowing down for a red light!
Roll Focus to handle breaking! Roll Tech to continue with the smooth driving.

Tully joins the screaming, bracing himself before hitting the car.
After the impact, he looks over himself briefly for injuries. For a moment, he's relieved to find none before he sees the other car's driver come towards them.
Thinking quickly, he whispers "Act angry with me... like, more than you already are, if you can manage it." He then leans out of the window and calls to him, sounding somewhat pathetic. "Hey, listen, buddy, I'm sorry - I'm still learning, you know? I'm only a rookie." He holds his hand up to forestall any comment. "Listen, just go back into town, go to the station, they'll pay your damages, no questions asked, promise... outta my salary, but I guess it's only fair."
Internally, he smiles. Have fun with that, Officer.
Without further comment, he pulls out again, hoping that he can get away without further incidents.

The man involved in the crash opens his door just as Tully was pulling himself out of the wreck. Zoroark continues to swear at Tully with common words she picked up in the city. She then nods to the driver while doing the universal gesture for 'coin'.
The sun begins to set on the horizon! Tully has been driving for at least an hour on the freeway to the closest area of advanced civilization, Rosenbalm City.
THUD Both of them could hear rapid sounds hitting Zoroark's side of the car. A leaf breaks the passenger window on impact, giving him a few minor cuts, dispelling his illusion. The crimson smoke clears and the two male deputies Tully saw in the office are giving chase in a police pursuit car which easily passes him up. The calm one is driving while the hotheaded one and Grovlye are laughing. It's seems they took the initiative as Officer Jenny was busy with other things.
"PULL OVER, LAST CHANCE!" He screams out the window.
Car: 50 Grovyle: 23 Deputy: 17 Since we're both in moving cars, subtract 2 from all accuracy rolls.

Tully jumps, almost letting go of the wheel before turning to Zoroark. "You said you knew how to make this thing go forward, yeah? Well, do that while me an Inkay gun, kay?"
The two quickly trade positions, Zoroark grumbling: "Not impressed."
Tully shrugs. "Gimme a minute. Hey!" He calls out to the other car. "These things do got safety features, right? Don't want no one to get too hurt, right?"
Zoroark: 19 Tully: 14 Inkay: 11

Grovyle grabs Tully's taunt and retaliates with a physical attack. Multiple leaves puncture the side of the car and Tully.
"Yes, both cars have airbags installed. The front and rear bumper are reinforced, but I'm sure you're already familiar with that." The driver says. He nods to himself proudly and resumes looking a the road.

"Kay, thanks!" Tully calls, flicking his and out of his coat and sending a knife flashing towards Grovyle, catching it on the shoulder. Inkay, on the other hand, raises a eyebrow (or whatever he has instead). Such a violent solution. He thinks at Tully, mostly joking. Let's try something a little more... peaceful, shall we?Steadying himself on the side of the car, he concentrates, making his head light up in a flicking dancing pattern that catches Grovyle's eyes and starts lulling him. Tully: Shift: Flutter Standard: Payback on Grovyle
Inkay: Shift: Suction Cups Standard: Hypnosis on Grovyle (cannot miss)

Grovyle drifts gently to sleep, the deputy groans at the laziness of his pokemon. The driver moves in a bit closer to Tully's car as the deputy pulls out a ...baton? It's a bit too big to be called a baton, more like a caveman's club with iron balls attached near the end of it.
He strikes at Inkay in a jutting motion, but he shakes and missed due to the car's movement. "HOLD IT" "..."
