Suzume gets hit hard, and as she does she feels something well up inside her. She allows it to burst forth - not a scream but a single booming and sustained note that shakes the air in front of her. Into it she projects feelings of strength for Palladion and feeligns of anger at these bullies. Hyper Voice, targeting Malamar, Woobat and Cofarigus. Palladion also in AOe but move is friendly, he gaines effect of Song of Might. 6(Small prophecies makes this 18) vs AC 2 to hit with smite. 42 Normal Special damage. Legal targets are pushed to squares immediately outside the AOE.

Ciara committed the squid's attack to memory for drawing later, since it seemed pretty strong and she was sure she'd be able to decipher how it worked. Remembering her vision, The girl then put her hands around her mouth and cried at Suzume to aim slightly up for better effect! (Small Prophecies roll replaces Suzume's 6 on Accuracy with an 18!)
She then focused as another short vision came, rattling her slightly. "Easter, come, we're too far from the group and vulnerable here!" she said, moving closer to Miguel and tossing the latter a small berry. "For the burn" she explained.
Banshee floated backwards to regroup with Ciara, her eyes set on the Huntress. The ghost's eyes started glowing menacingly even as part of her body became clearer and less defined. A web of dark script seemed to coalesce around the Huntress, before Banshee let out a blood-curling scream and the web wrapped around the squid form, burning the symbols into its skin.
(Small Prophecies 11, Recorded Superpower, AP 4/7. Banshee loses 1/3 of its HP to use Curse on the Huntress! The Huntress is now Cursed)

The burn stung and the situation out back was so concerning that Miguel delayed his movements while nodding at Arsene to the Huntress/Malamar creature. In response, the Haunter floated upwards and leveled the creature with a cruel, menacing look that would stop even a hardened murderer in its tracks. Thankfully on Miguel's end, he got a lum berry tossed over at him. Unfortunately he couldn't quite eat till the battle was over so he bided his time and waited. Then he just jumped in place and stayed at the back for the moment as he readied himself for battle. Miguel used Splash as a shift! He now has +2 evasion for a round.
Arsene used Mean Look on Huntress/Malamar! It is now Trapped and Slowed for the remainder of the encounter!

Palladion is bombarded by attacks, is in rough shape, and is in a bad spot between foes. It has to tough it out, and tries smashing its head into the Swoobat. Jericha tries her own hand at fighting the squid by thrusting said hand into its mass. This situation is getting a bit out of hand. Hopefully some brute strength will help. After the initial commotion, Jericha starts storing lots of energy into her tightly clenched fist, and keeps her eyes deadlocked on the squid in front of her.
AC4 vs 8: 59 psy phys to Swoobat AC2 vs 10: 32 fight phys to Malamar
Jericha declares Focus Punch vs Malamar: Use of Focus Punch must be declared as a Priority (Limited) action at the beginning of the round. Nothing happens at this time. At the end of the round, if the target hasn't been hit by an attack dealing damage equal to at least 25% of the user's Maximum Hit Points, the user may Shift and use Focus Punch. Focus Punch's Frequency is not expended if it is negated by an attack.

Upon waking properly, Easter took charge, rushing over to Miguel and curing him of his burn with a sort of magical healing. She then took out a card and sent out a new persona to replace the blissey, this time sending out a small plant with a horribly revolting scent Palladion manages to down the one bat, and the Huntress, took what would normally be a strong punch from Jericha, but it seemed to have gotten stronger over the period of the fight, so it barely felt a thing. The curse initially hit the Huntress, but the pink puffball from afar sent out a sweet scent that seemed to cure it of its affliction. The two octopi both take aim at Palladion doing first 47 then 57 physical water damage to it, and lowering its accuracy by 1 for the remainder of the encounter. The coffin hurt itself in its own confusion, and the bat blew a kiss at Palladion, confusing it and raising its special attack by 1. Should palladion be downed from the octopi, then it uses the attack on Jericha instead The huntress, now cured of her affliction, takes aim at the two trainers in front of her. First, she uses Hypnosis on Jericha, which cannot miss, putting her to sleep. It then opts to slice at Suzume with kinetic energy, dealing 49 physical psychic damage. "I will not tolerate the weak anymore! You will not leave here alive! Drown in your insignificance!!!"next up is everyone else

Byakko rushes forward, shoving Suzume out of the way and taking the brunt of the Huntress's attack. "Byakko no! Be careful!" Suzume shouts. Suzume then pulls out a potion and applies it to her previous wounds. Byakko performs Intercept, Melee: DC 3 to intercept 1 meter, Min Athletics 7 so passed. Suzume uses Basic Potion to regain 20 HP on herself

Palladion is finally brought down from the combined water attacks. Jericha would retaliate, but a sudden feeling of drowsiness hits her. She also slumps to the ground , fast asleep. Zzzz...Then suddenly Jericha is awake! She gets up, and flashes a thumbs up to Miguel. With Palladion down, she busts out her next persona. She tosses out a card, and out pops out the rageful ball of floof, Ares. It's assignment is to take care of the these pesky octopi. It beats its chest, and rushes down the nearest one with a lightning fast karate chop. Jericha also throws out an aura sphere at the giant squid in front of her. Aura sphere vs Malamar Cannot miss 38 fight spec
Karate Chop vs oct #1 AC 2 vs 19 Crit on 17+ DMG: 43 fight phys Crit: 22 fight phys

Miguel moved around the corner to see what the hell was happening, but upon seeing that Jericha was sleeping on the ground he decided to wake her up instead. Meanwhile, Arsene attempts to fire off a confuse ray at the Huntress, hoping to at least get her dazed enough to be less effective. Miguel wakes up Jericha with his action!
Arsene fires off a confuse ray at the huntress! 7 vs AC 2 status. If it hits, target is confused.

Ciara also jotted down notes on how the aroma had had healing properties [Recorded Aromatherapy!] then crushed another tarot card to switch Banshee with Cait Sith.
"Cait, Fake Out!"
(Rolled a 4, replaced with 11 from Small Prophecies. 16 Normal Phys and Huntress is flinched)
Straight after, Caitsith's eyes glowed as its prankster nature allowed it to instantly go into Miracle Eye and then blast out a Psyshock against the squid before disengaging!
(Rolled a 16, Miracle Eye makes it so Huntress goes from immune to neutral to Psychic attacks from Cait. Psyshock for 42 Psychic Special)

The barrage of attacks do a significant amount of damage to the shadows, but they seem resilient in their cause. The Huntress in particular takes her hits with a significant amount of gusto. It seems physical attacks won't be very effective against her, after all her buffs.
First the squids make their move. The one next to primape sidestepped, and attempted an icy blast, dealing 45 physical ice damage. The second managed to cure itself of confusion, and landed a painful shot on Suzume, dealing 55 physical water damage
The pig bat winked an eye at Jericha, confusing her and raising her SpAtk by 1
The coffin also lucked out, curing itself of confusion, but still maintained a painful burn. It waddled up behind the Huntress, taking a spot in front of her, and blocking the entrance to the room. It then proceeded to cackle maliciously through the hall, as bandages emerged from the ground below it, restraining Miguel, Caitsith, Jericha, Suzume, and Byakko, effectively halving their movement speeds for the next round.
The Huntress, after sidestepping out from the assaulting kitty cat, howled towards the lockers, summoning a new coffin out from them, its familiar cackling taunting the lot of you, but it does not perform any actions. This sort of Summoning seemed to be a strenuous act on the Huntress, but luckily for her, the Aromatisse was there, ready to use Heal pulse and restore the Huntress to full health.
Easter casts Safeguard, and the gloomish plant lays out a lucky chant
It is now the turn for the rest of you

Miguel tried to jump over the crowd with Splash and tried to maneuver a fancy axe kick down the Confargigus' head, but the bandages screwed up his sense of balance and he ended up missing widely and simply landing on the ground with an irritated huff. In the meantime, Arsene was more successful when he managed to hit with another rocket punch to the Confargigus' face. However, he's frowning thoughtfully now as he tries to figure out a way out of this predicament. Miguel used splash as a shift action, gaining +2 evasion till his next turn! (new evasion total: 5)
Miguel used Acrobatics... but whiffed.
Arsene used Shadow Punch on Confargigus for 36 ghost physical damage!

"I can't take your bullshit anymore!" Suzume yells at the Huntress, her cry becoming a concussive blast, while also steeling Jericha a little. Quieter towards the group she says "No really I can't take much more I'm tapped."Byakko charges past the Huntress to take out the healer, flames engulfing its mouth as it chomps down on the perfume beast. Suzume disengages beside Cofrigus and uses Hyper Voice with Song of Life. 19 vs AC 2 hits, she deals 36 Special Normal Damage and Byakko, Cait Sith and Jericha gain 5 DR but take no damage because friendly. Byakko charges in and crits Aromatish with Fire Fang, dealing 77 Physical Fire Damage and burning and flinching it.

Ares gets bowled over by the ice attack, but comes back at the octo to give it a big German suplex! Jericha throws out a strike at the shifting big boss, but nearly falls over herself when she misses. She then readies up her shield to brace for any damage. Ares: Seismic Toss vs Octillery AC 2 vs 9 The target loses HP equal to the level of Seismic Toss's user. Do not apply weakness or resistance. Do not apply stats. -33 HP
Jericha: Force Palm vs Malamar AC 2 vs 1 Miss
Jericha uses Shield Bearer--1 AP – Swift Action You may immediately ready a Shield, and do not become Slowed as a result. You may choose to grant an adjacent Ally the Evasion and Damage Reduction bonuses from your shield instead of gaining them yourself, but these bonuses only apply as long as the ally remains adjacent to you. If you do and the ally Shifts, you may Shift alongside your ally as a Shift Action Interrupt. This cannot cause you to shift more than your normal Movement.

The Huntress had become absolutely sick of Suzume's antics, and dashed in front of her, striking her with her beak, and stealing Suzume's cornet from her hand. Pluck deals 47 physical flying damage
the first octillery took aim at Ciara, striking with a powerful mud shot, dealing 42 physical ground damage and lowering her speed by 1 combat stage. The second octillery shoots at the primeape, dealing 42 physical water damage
The swoobat attempted another swagger on Miguel, effectively confusing him, and the cofagrigus followed up with a hex on him, dealing 43 special ghost damage.
However, the team wasn't in complete disarray. Easter managed to make it up to Suzume, healing her with a blessed touch for a 1/4th of her health, and gloom managed to land a stun spore on the Huntress, effectively paralyzing her.
It is now your turns

Ciara focused herself as Banshee materializes behind Jericha, then raised her right hand. Her eyes cloud for a second as she received another vision, after which she made a sweeping motion with her hand towards Suzume as if holding a nib pen.
Streaks of iridescent light settled around Suzume, giving her DR 12 or DR = Tick value, whichever is higher.

What was it going to take for Primeape to put this octobutt away!? Ares was really getting steamed, and threw out another sharp chop with a loud karate noise! Jericha is feeling a bit loopy, but when she hurls another Hadouken Aura sphere, it's always a guarantee hit.
Karate Chop vs Octillery AC 2 vs 19 Crit on 17+ dmg: 60 fight phys
Aura Sphere vs Malamar Cant Miss No Crit DMG: 33 fight spec Jericha is still confused & no damage

Miguel was struck by a strong blow and was now feeling damn woozy. Woozy enough that he decided that a change in strategy was in order as he teleported away back behind enemy lines. He still had enough control of his cognitive faculties to switch out to the right pokemon, changing Arsene to Moriarty, his Bronzong. Said large bell loomed over the Malamar as it hovered over four meters in the air before it unleashed a stranged multicolored beam that struck hard right at the Malamar's face! Miguel switched out Haunter for Bronzong with his standard action! He failed his confusion save, but didn't get damaged this turn.
Moriarty the Bronzing fired off a Signal Beam at the Malamar/Huntress (12 vs AC 2 special) for 37 special bug damage!

Byakko bites with a flaming maw once more at the same target, hoping to finish it.
Suzume meanwhile bereft of her Cornet lets out a scream of anger that reverberates and weakens the nearby enemies, while instilling a primal desire to hit harder in her allies. [spoielr]Byakko uses Fire fang, rolled 19 to hit, 59 physical fire damage and flinched again. Suzume uses Screeh infused with Sogn of Might. Enemies within 2 Meters lose 2 Cs in Defense and Allies within 2 meters deal +5 damage.[/spoiler]

With the constant assault from every imaginable angle, the huntress watched as her soldiers crumbled and wailed all around her. Her cries and demands were constantly interrupted by a strike from the side.
"ggrgreeRRREREEEEENNOUGH!!! STOP THIS FOOLISHNESS! YOU'RE ALL SO WEAK! SO PATHETIC! I'LL DEAL WITH THIS MYSEEEEEEEELLFF!!"
With a high pitched cry, her soldiers were rendered immobile. The few who did not immediately dissipate into nothingness were left shuddering in the agony of her horrid wails. It was clear that this was the source of her control, not brute strength, not blackmail, but rather the overwhelming damage her voice could wield. Of course, this only affected those who had heavily valued her words. For you all, the sound was nothing more than mildly annoying. This prime opportunity granted the newly exposed bronzong a prime opportunity to land a signal beam, striking with an unparalleled amount of force in comparison with the attacks that came before. Suddenly, the Huntress was silent.
"No . . . I was . . . weak . . ."
You all were victorious. You managed to stop the Huntress, release her hold on the other shadows, and likely stopped a truly horrific event from occurring, yet somehow, your triumph felt somber. The ambiance of the broken school was a broken shade of despair. The walls seemed to seep deep violet shadows, dripping in their voluminous syrupy bundles on the stained wooden floor. The squid like huntress went from a hostile creature, with rage and violence in her posture, to a limp less, apathetic mold of mush, slowly melding down with the walls, till she was nothing but a large, oppressive goop, eating its way through the interior.
Soon, you watched as the sludge that once was an authoritarian high school student crushed through the wall to the left, revealing access to the outdoor garden. Blistered dying plants frame a macabre passageway to the center of the garden, revealing a large well, one large enough to fit a number of despair filled whale captives from Seaworld. This well had no visible bottom to see, muddied with oceans of thick purplish sludge. The husk of the huntress lazily retreated to her recluse of the well, conforming with the rest of the volume, and returning the Huntress to the surface. She was meek, her eyes bore no life whatsoever. Whatever drive she had was finally erased.
"You've made your point . . . I could never protect everyone. . . . I was too weak . . . it's genetic isn't it? . . . you can work all you want . . . fight all you want . . . . but if you're weak . . . that's just it . . ."
600 PXP for each trainer, 2 trainer levels, and 10,000 moneys that will be provided story wise later, but you can add it now
