"Sorry, next time I'll just leave you to fight a swarm of wild pokemon with only one injured pokemon. I'm sure Hal would be real appreciative of being pecked to death" she snaps back, making a noise of annoyance before focusing her eyes on the battle. She watches the ghostly light flicker past Fortune, quickly bringing up her Holocaster and recording a quick video of its movement patterns. Then, she looks to Fortune, all business. "Fortune, change out of your tiara please, I think we need something a little scarier at the moment. Then, narrow in and hit them with a nice blast of Powdered Snow, alright?" The little parka-cone nods and pulls the tiara off her head, stowing it away and pulling out a piece of black cloth. There's a flurry of movement as she ties the black bandana around her head. When she's done, there's two surprisingly realistic looking eyes on the bandana, facing forwards, and the little pokemon's expression itself has changed from something rather innocent and unaware to a fierce glare directed at the crows, not unlike Jacqueline's own glare. Then, she totters forwards and breathes out a chilling breath from her mouth over the swarm, causing several of the birds to fall to the ground, frozen solid. 1 AP Swift Action Interrupt, Jacqueline Records Confuse Ray. As a Standard action Jacqueline gives Focused Orders.
Fortune uses a Swift action using Chic to change from Adorable Fashion to Rough Fashion As a free action Fortune uses the Rough Fashion effect on the murkrow swarm, giving them a -2 penalty to all rolls until her next turn. Fortune moves from F4 to G5. Fortune uses Icy Wind, rolling a 19 with a total of 21 against AC 2. On a roll of 19, the Murkrow are frozen. The attack deals 19 Special Ice type damage in a Line 4 from Fortune.

Dave and Jacqueline
As Hals Electroweb flies through the flock, taking down around half of them in a single blow, the remaining ones cawing loudly before Fortune gave them a glare, followed by an icy cool breath, taking out another quarter, with a few more falling frozen to the ground.
The last few birds, now numbering less than 10, turned their attention to Fortune, the little hat-goblin being the closest thing to attack them. All of them swarmed the Ice Type, attempting to catch her with their wings.
Luke and Jack
Both of the boys could barely be heard above the sounds of beating wings, but with Bolt jumping on Jacks shoulder, loudly crying out "Pika Pika!" With a flash of electricity from his cheeks, the birds began to listen to what each of them had to say, slowing their aerial march. However, as the cacophony of flapping began to stop, two much louder sounds could be heard, as the leaders of both flocks continued to speed forward, eventually crashing through the tree tops and coming to a stop in front of the two trainers, looking angrily between both each other and Jack and Luke. Other than a few stray sounds from the direction of Dave and Jacqueline, the forest was quiet.

"And I'm sure Hal could do just fine without your poncy little snow cone," Dave retorts, as Hal observes the Murkrow. Hopefully he's doing something like observing their pattern. Not just birdwatching. That would be an embarrassing flaw to have in evolu- well, then... an atypically bright flash comes from Hal, as he shoots another web... and, luckily, this seems to be just the right kind of abnormality. The one that fiddling around a little with Hal's settings was supposed to achieve. Not the shorting out kind. Those are the... less desirable effects. Dave Expends 1 Momentum to recharge Electroweb. Hal Traces Super Luck.
Hal uses Electroweb on the swarm (19 vs AC3, critting on 18+) for 49 Special Electric damage, and -1 Speed CS. Hal gains 2 Momentum.

Luke glares at the two birds as they sit there doing nothing but look angry. "Well? You gonna keep hiding behind your minions, or actually fight this out yourself? Stop dragging others into your own stupid problems."

Jack looked between the two lead pokemon. "I talked to Nurse Joy in the Pokemon Center in town. She told me that until recently, all of you pokemon got along just fine," Jack said, looking between the Fearow and Honchkrow. "I don't know what happened between you, but you don't have to fight over it, not all of you, at least!," Jack said. "Let us help you sort through this, so that all of you can go back to living in peace!," Jack pleaded. "Let us help you! Please..."

Dave and Jacqueline
As Hal fired off another massive blast of electricity, the rest of the birds fell to the ground, knocked out by the sheer power behind the blast.
The Porygon hovered back over to Dave, beeping quietly before changing colors a few times and looking back in the direction of Luke and Jack, before turning his head quizzically at Dave.
Fortune bounces over to Jacqueline a few moments after the battle ended, looking at her trainer with what seemed to be a smile, clearly satisfied with the way the battle went.
Before either trainer could get too comfortable however, they could hear what seemed to be shouting from where Jack and Luke were, quickly followed by the sound of a large number of the bird Pokemon
Luke and Jack
The Honchkrow began to shake with what appeared to be laughter at what the boys were saying, turning around and gesturing towards its murder of Murkrow, who all joined in, the cacophonous sounds of their 'laughter' filling the forest.
Both Bolt and Gawain hid behind their trainers as the sound grew louder
Seconds later the Fearow, who had been looking on with a more...serious look, flapped its wings violently towards the Honchkrow, a blast of wind striking the black bird. The Honchkrow slowly turned back towards the Fearow, a dark black aura appearing around it for a moment, before it screeched "KROWWWW!" and a blast of dark energy smashed into the ground next to the Fearow.
As if on cue, the Murkrow and Spearow began to fly towards each other, before the Fearow cried out angrily and raised its wings, causing its flock to stop immediately and the Murkrow to hesitate.
It seems the boys words had got through to at least one of the birds

Dave glances towards where the noise was coming from, before shrugging, and checking his PokéNav to make sure that he's going the right way. "They'll be fine, Hal. They've got an electric type, they'll be okay. If their constant jabbering doesn't drive the birds off first." After making sure that he's oriented correctly, he begins again his trek to the Pokémon center. "Anyways, that was well done," he says, nodding to Hal. "Evolution's suited you. We should probably see if we can make it to that Center today, though. I don't want to push you too hard."

Luke glares at the Honchkrow as the corvine and its crownies laughs at him and is just about to berate them again when the Fearow attacks, which brightens his mood considerably. "Good. Seems like at least one of you isn't a coward too afraid to fight for themself."

Jacqueline kneels down and pats Fortune on the head for a moment, just as the cacophony from the forest behind begins. At the sound she immediately looks up, her eyebrows furrowing. "They were supposed to be hiding, what the hell..." She sighs and scoops Fortune up in her arms. "Looks like we have more work to do, Fortune." She pauses for a moment, listening to the interchange between Dave and Hal, then shakes her head and makes a noise of utter disgust in Dave's direction, contempt oozing from her voice as she mutters to herself. "Unbelievable." Then, she promptly turns on her heel and runs back off towards where she left the two younger boys.

"See?!," Jack said sternly at the Honchkrow, "there's no reason to make all of the other pokemon fight! This is just between you and Fearow, and you two need to work this out! If you two don't want to even try, then it should only be you two that battle!," he said seriously, still standing between the two pokemon, arms outstretched, staring down the Honchkrow.

Jacqueline
As Jacq and Fortune leave Dave and Hal behind, heading back towards where the two younger boys had been left, the sound of them shouting grows more clear.
As she approaches the clearing, Jacq sees Luke standing up in the bushes, Gawain standing behind his legs, and Jack and Bolt standing inbetween two massive flocks of birds, staring down an angry Honchkrow. Fortune seemed to fidget a bit in her arms
Luke and Jack
As Jack continued to stand inbetween the two birds, the Fearow cried out loudly at him, clearly annoyed that he stood inbetween the two after pushing them to settle things, but the Honchkrow had far different plans. The same dark energy surrounded it before it blasted the ground in front of Jack, then motioning for the Murkrow to attack the young trainer, which they hesitated to do, but after another glare from the larger bird, they quickly flew forwards and began to peck at both Jack and Bolt, the Electric Mouse responding with a few jolts of electricity to attempt to scare them off, though they didnt seem to be backing down.
Luke noticed the girl from earlier had come back and was now standing on the outskirts of the clearing, holding a little cloaked Pokemon that seemed to be shivering.
Dave
As Jacqueline stormed off towards the others, Hal continued to look at Dave, not moving from his position. After Dave had made it a little ways away, Hal began to slowly follow him, before stopping and beeping loudly once more. It seemed that he was taking a stand here, which is something that Pre Evolution Hal wouldnt have even been capable of

"Eh? What is it, Hal?" Dave asks, noticing that the Porygon isn't following. "You have got to be kidding me," he sighs. "I'm always up for accepting a challenge, but actively seeking out something that one sided..." Dave shakes his head. "You're hurt, and they aren't worth charging into a situation like that for."

Jacqueline surveys the scene for a moment, fist clenching tightly as she sees the situation. She should have left Dave to himself, honestly, the prick. He pissed her off, so much. Damnit, this entire situation pissed her off, this entire day pissed her off. Well enough of that, she had a right to be pissed off, and screw anyone who told her otherwise. She set down Fortune, ignoring any reticence the little pokemon might be displaying and gave her a light pat on the head. "May want to use Double Team here, in case things get bad, Fortune. And if you could put on your bandana instead of the tiara again, I'd appreciate it. But anyways, come along."Jacqueline strides out into the clearing, a furious glare on her face, heading straight towards the two ringleaders and Jack in the center of the area, Fortune following soon after. She raises a hand in the air and and snaps snaps loudly, following it up with a loud "HEY!" She pauses a moment to allow attention to be drawn to herself, then fixes her gaze directly on the swarm targeting Jack. "If you don't want to be lying on the ground unconscious in about 2 seconds like your friends I just left behind, I advise that you back off and let him leave. Now." Poor Intimidate Roll is Poor: 11. On four dice. Why.

Jack instinctively shielded his face with his arms as the Murkrow tried to drive he and Bolt away. Through his crossed arms, he looked at the Fearow and Spearow, standing by, willing to settle their differences without involving the whole forest...and the reluctant Murkrow who weren't even attacking in earnest. The only real aggressor here was the Honchkrow. As Jack weathered the endless stream of pecks, words he had heard earlier that day sprang to mind...
"...Yeah, that flock has been causing issues for the past few days, I'm not sure what has some so shaken up, normally they're far less hostile...," the words of Nurse Joy, in the Pokemon Center...
"And then, after beating that, got bitten by that poacher's Persian...," Dave's words, just a short while ago...
And then he heard Jacqueline, urging him to leave...
"No!," Jack shouted as loud as he could. "I'm not leaving! In fact, I think I've got this whole thing figured out!," he added.
"At the Pokemon Center...Nurse Joy told me...that this all started a few days ago! That these Fearow and Spearow aren't normally aggressive, and just look! They want to settle this without everyone having to fight!," he said emphatically. "The Murkrow don't want to either! The Honchkrow is making the do it, and I bet he only got here a few days ago, too, and not alone either!," Jack said, taking a step toward the Honchkrow. "I think this Honchkrow came here with that poacher you and Dave fought earlier, and I bet he's doing this because that poacher is his trainer! Think about it! What better way to keep people away than to make it dangerous by getting all of the Pokemon to fight each other while he just takes the ones he wants!," he said, hunching over. "And I'll prove it!," Jack shouted, taking off at a dead sprint toward the Honchkrow.
"Let's see if I'm right, Honchkrow! I think you're already captured, so that means, if I'm right...," he shouted. His yells were punctuated by the sound of a pokeball growing to its full size, "...then this won't work!," he shouted, running straight up to the Honchkrow, pokeball in-hand, and shoving it right at the bird!

Dave
Hal raised himself higher up into the air for a moment, before lowering himself in front of Dave, shaking his head and beeping. The Electronic Pokemon turned a pink and white color, reminiscent of a Pokemon Center, and then a moment later a dark shade of red, before turning around and looking back towards the sound of the birds with a long drawn out beep, that sounded almost...worried
Luke, Jack, and Jacq
As Jacqueline berates the birds, about half of the flock looks terrified at the girl and her Pokemon, the grass around Fortune slightly freezing, before flying off. However, the remaining half pecks at Jack as he dashes past them.
Jack, meanwhile, pushes his way through the mass of feathers and beaks, and makes it to the Honchkrow with the Pokeball ready. As he presses it against the Pokemons chest, there was a moment of silence before...nothing happened. It seemed Jack's hypothesis was correct and this bird already belonged to someone!
However, his triumph was short lived because the large bird immediately responded with a backhand to the face, striking the young trainer with its wing.
Upon seeing the Honchkrow strike Jack and ignore its challenge, the Fearow takes to its wings and begins flying towards its foe

"I'm sure they'll be fine," he says, though he glances in the direction Hal's looking. There's some silence, before he says, "C'mon, you know there's no positive outcome, here... They need the help, then I keep getting thanked, and they don't leave me alone. If they don't need the help, well, for one thing, again, there goes the end of my peace and quiet. Which I'm beginning to appreciate a lot more now, incidentally. And for another, I'll never hear the end of the 'you thought we couldn't handle ourselves'."

"Augh!," Jack cried out as the bird struck him. Bolt heard his trainer's anguished cry and rushed headlong toward the Honchkrow, leaping between the two and blasting the Honchkrow with a jolt of electric energy.
Jack took the opportunity to take a step back, putting some distance between himself and the Honchkrow. "Thanks buddy, I owe ya one," he said gratefully. Between the Murkrow and the Honchkrow, Jack was pretty banged up.
"Pi, Pika!," Bolt responded, staring down the Honchkrow, electricity crackling from his red cheeks.

Dave
Hal continues to stare at Dave for a few moments, before letting out a low, almost solemn, beep and floating back to his trainer, defeated.
The sounds of battle grew in the distance however
Jacq, Jack, and Luke
As Bolt electrifies the large bird, it cried out in pain. However it began to charge up another Dark blast in retaliation. Before it finished the charge however, the Fearow came flying towards it, tearing into the avian gangster with its talons glowing a light blue. The Honchkrow screeched in in pain once more, releasing the Dark Pulse towards the Fearow, but missing by a mile and blowing a large gash into a nearby tree.
It began to gesture to the Murkrow and then at Bolt, the murder of Pokemon flying directly at the small yellow mouse, though they were all too busy fighting over who would actually hit him to do anything.

"Look, Hal..." Dave sighs, "Again, I'm sure they'll be fine. There's enough of them. And most of them are locals. This is their stomping ground, after all." He looks the digital duck straight in the... visual receptor. "And I'm seriously worried about making sure you remain functioning. I'm not used to being away from a Center this long, and I didn't bring enough restoratives. We've still got a little ways to go, and I'd rather not go that distance without having you up and about. This isn't LaRousse, after all."
With that, having gotten his bearings from his PokéNav, Dave heads towards the next Pokémon Center, making sure that Hal's following beside him.

Luke watches on with wide eyes at what is going on in front of him, before kneeling down next to Gawain putting a hand on his flank, whispering: "Get ready, buddy." Gawain nods, moving forwards, closer to the swarm, and takes up a battle stance. Luke is binding Plainly Perfect for 2 AP
