The Litwick are very eager to lead you onwards; they even move to frame the doorway so you know which one you need to enter. Jamie You remember from school that Litwick are the source of the legend of the "Will-o-the-Wisps," haunted lights that lead travelers astray, sometimes to their doom.

When Jamie remembers what the Litwick are famous for, he stops in his tracks, face paling rapidly. After a moment of standing there he regains his composure. Right, I hate to stereotype Pokemon, but if they're known to lead people astray then I don't want to follow them. With that in mind, Jamie looks at the doorway the Litwick have chosen and decidedly goes for the other doorway, feeling rather relieved that the Litwick are all congregating around a doorway rather than him, because he does not want to feel their ire when they are clinging to him.
Jamie looks at his friends and explains himself. "I just remembered something very important. Trust me when I say you don't want to go down that way," he indicates the door with the Litwick, "Let's go this way instead."

Shako, a little uneasy that his pokedex stopped working all of a sudden shuts it and puts it away. A little unnerved about the amount of Litwick following them around, decides to heed Jamie's advice and follow him down the other corridor. This is very creepy, I wonder what they want from us? He clutches his buddy's pokeball, as he begins to follow Jamie. I may need you soon Clubba,

Quick Orientation, plus map The Litwick gathered around the southern (bottom) doorway, so y'all are heading to the eastern (right) doorway. Also, I may have to admit defeat and use the Excel sheet for this.... Ignoring the Litwick, you pass through the shattered doors to enter a room that looks almost like a tomb. There are several sarcophagi set into niches carved into the walls- all seem to have been smashed open recently. A couple of niches stand empty; their sarcophagi are lying on the floor, having been broken into numerous shards in what seems to be a search for hidden treasure. The mummified bodies, or what's left of them, are scattered around as well. Floating about the room are several star-shaped Pokemon made of metal, apparently trying to clean up. They glower at you angrily as you enter, their eyes glowing threateningly.

Shako looks at the floating pokemon, these pokemon seem upset that we are here, well at least we know their intentions.. those litwick creeped me out. Grabbing a pokeball out, he says You don't scare me, now Vortex, show them how to really make their eyes glow! Eerie Impulse! He releases his spinda Vortex, whose body begins to glow. Its eyes glowing more than its body though as it stares down the closest floating pokemon.
Vortex uses Eerie impulse on the closest pokemon, lowering its special attack by -2 combat stages

The flash of light that is Vortex's Eerie Impulse startles the Pokemon, causing it to rock back and forth mid-air. You certainly got its attention, and it is furious! The Litwick make sounds like they are parents chastising naughty children before withdrawing to a (relatively) safe distance to watch. Initiative Jamie: 11 Vortex: 10 Shako: 10 Bronzor: 1 Terrain Statues: Eerie statues. They serve as blocking terrain, but is there more to them....?
Coffins: Though they're depicted as whole, they've been dragged out and smashed open, likely by Team Tempest vandals. They are slow terrain. Important to note The Litwick are individually weak (level 1); however, they work together to overwhelm stronger foes. The Litwick operate by Swarm rules (core rulebook, page 478.) Engage them at your peril.

Jamie is a little stunned. He didn't expect Shako to suddenly become aggressive like that. Still Shako was his friend and he was going to help out with the Bronzor the boy had enraged. Jamie sends out Chroma. "Use Struggle Bug on those Bronzor in the corner!" Chrome hums, before flying off and vibrating and emitting a cone of energy. Jamie uses Focused Orders and tags the Bronzor at K3 with Duelist.
Since Chroma is faster than Jamie, she moves instantly I believe. She moves to K4.

Chroma's glow bathes the Pokemon, but when it fades, it is readily apparent that they haven't even been scratched, let alone damaged. A chill wind blows through the complex, causing you to shiver slightly; it may just be your imagination, or it may just be the wind, but now you can't help but think of the Bronzor as merely the eyes of a much more powerful and sinister being.... Shako sees Chroma taking on the pokemon in the corner, and yells to Vortex. Get in close Vortex. and use Thunderpunch on the one straight ahead. But be careful, they seem tough.Vortex moves to L6 and uses thunderpunch,
Shako uses inspired training on Vortex, giving him a total of +2 to evasion, +4 to save checks.

The Thunderpunch rocks the Pokemon, but there is still no visible damage to speak of. Rufus fumbles at his belt a moment, shouting to you "Them's steel types! Ya won't be able ta see any damage ya put on 'em, 'less you use fire moves!" Meanwhile, two of the Pokemon glare angrily at Vortex and Chroma, their eyes glowing with power. A moment later, translucent crystals formed of energy appear on Chroma and Vortex; though they don't seem to slow them down, you think that some of their power may be restrained by the crystals. The remaining Pokemon gang up on Vortex, attempting to use Tackle to beat him into the ground; only one hits, and that hit is shrugged off easily by Vortex. Rufus finally gets his act together, pulling a Pokeball off his belt. "Georgia, we need ya!" he shouts, pressing the release and tossing it high in the air. A moment later, his Golett appears, performing a superhero landing, which, given its stubby body, looks uncommonly silly. "Right, Georgia, help our new friends out," Rufus says. You notice that the Litwick haven't moved from their location, but now instead of berating you, they're waving tiny chunks of wax with their stubby hands and are behaving a lot like little cheerleaders. OOC Vortex takes 3 damage (accounting for defenses.)
Vortex and Chroma have both been Locked. For the rest of the scene, neither may use the moves Tackle, Confusion, Imprison, or Hypnosis. Initiative Chroma: 13 Georgia: 12 Jamie: 11 Vortex: 10 Shako: 10 Rufus: 5 Bronzor: 1

"Well, if we can't hurt them, maybe we can debilitate them," Jamie says. "Sleep Powder!" he commands, seeing as how Chroma already knows which Bronzor her target is. Chroma flutters her wings, releasing a fine powder towards the Bronzor. Sleep Powder on Bronzor K3 AC6 vs VJja9k4s1d20+6 (Target falls Asleep)

The powder doesn't seem to have an effect initially, as the Pokemon continues to stare at Chroma. It then falls face-first onto the ground, making sounds like metal scraping metal- what passes for snoring for this steel type, apparently. "Now, Georgia!" Rufus shouts. "Shadow Punch!" In response to the order, Georgia the Golett waddles past Shako and Jamie, its fist glowing with shadow might. It then punches Vortex's shadow, its fist entering the pool of darkness, only to emerge below one of the Pokemon and knock it out cold. Initiative Chroma: 13

Vortex: 10

"Alright, focus on the other Bronzor next!" Jamie says indicating the Bronzor that was hovering over a coffin. Swift: Jamie Tags Bronzor M5 with Duelist (No Momentum is lost due to this from what I can see)
Standard: Jamie uses Focused Orders on Chroma.

Shako watches as the Bronzor goes down right in front of Vortex, Okay Vortex, attack the one to your right! Thunderpunch! Shako points to the bronzor in M7. As Vortex winds up and goes to hit the bronzor, Shako pulls out a pokeball and waits to throw a fast ball at it.

Vortex punches the Bronzor, sending it spinning like a top. The Holon Spinda then neatly ducks, allowing Shako's Pokeball to sail between its ears. What happened next was a source of discussion for a long time. Maybe it was luck. Maybe it was skill. Maybe it was both. But the Pokeball caught the Bronzor so fast it didn't even have time to blink, let alone dodge. The locking mechanism clicked neatly shut before it could even struggle to escape. Rufus laughs, clapping his hands in admiration. "Nicely done, Shako!" he shouts, moving closer to keep an eye on Georgia. The remaining Bronzor, however, are not laughing. The two currently capable of battle move closer, glaring at Shako, before their eyes glow pinkish purple, unleashing their psychic power. Shako cannot help but reel as their power assaults his mind! OOC The Bronzor's stats will be given as soon as Shako recovers the Pokeball. Shako takes a combined total of 17 damage from their use of Confusion; since the second one rolled a natural 19, Shako is also confused. If Helen wants to join in, or investigate stuff, she can do so. Also, I blame this college thing for my lack of activity. Initiative Chroma: 13 Georgia: 12 Jamie: 11 Vortex: 10 Shako: 10 Rufus: 5 Bronzor: 1

"Chroma, use Stun Spore!" Jamie ordered. Chroma obeyed, fluttering her wings and attempting to coat the Bronzor she had been ordered to focus on in a layer of fine spores. The spores flutter onto the Bronzor, and it suddenly goes rigid- previously, it had been oscillating on an invisible vertical axis, and now it is stock still, glaring hatred at Chroma. As Rufus hesitantly taps Shako on the shoulder, Georgia lumbers down to one of the remaining Bronzor and bops it on the head before assuming a stance much like that of a football linebacker. OOC The first Bronzor is paralyzed. The second one was hit by Georgia's move Block and is now stuck and trapped until the beginning of Georgia's next turn. Initiative Chroma: 13 Georgia: 12 Jamie: 11 Vortex: 10 Shako: 10 Rufus: 5 Bronzor: 1
